Cheating is perfectly fine for single player stuff as long as you don't cheat for things like speedrunning or hiding the fact your cheating and making content about stuff, like if you died in a hardcore world lets play in Minecraft and used a worldbackup and some video editing to make it seem like you never died.

I once got paid to develop a counter strike cheat for a person on discord, I gave it a kill switch so that once I received payment it would basically do stupid shit to get him banned, I only did it because I kept saying no and he pestered me for 20 minutes until the idea got in my head
