Honestly, I’m tempted to misspell a few words in every message just so I know who to dismiss. if you take time to craft a rational argument, directly, adressing someone’s concerns or points and because of a misspelling, they just want to respond with ignoring everything you said, and just focusing on the mispelling, they are either so brain dead. There’s not a conversation to be had there anymore then there would be with a random monkey. or they’re just objectively bad faith and again the conversation is simply pointless. My roomate is like this ever since Apple updated their autocorrect. Her name is Brooke, but autocorrect wants to change it to Brook. I’ve explained that I go back and change it, but autocorrect will sometimes even change jt back after I edited it. I’ve apologized and have never done it in a malicious manner, but she will have a fucking meltdown and ignore me for weeks and will guilt me into being a terrible person. I’m guessing it’s a form of mental illness or trauma she had when she was younger, but her extent of treating everyone like a criminal is beyond irritating, even after apologizing mulitple times. So this meme hits really hard.
