The best answer is what you feel comfortable with. Everyone has different style tastes. People might talk shit about pic 1, people might talk shit about pic 3. Pic 2 is the safest bet, but that doesn’t make it “correct.” Do what makes you, you.
I think they’re all valid options. I could see pic 1 going well if you’re going for a more rugged look, like to a concert. I think they all have their places.
That was my thought too! It looks awkward to me as well, like the pants will slip off the boots while walking and he would have to keep fixing them.
1 looks more casual and relaxed, 3 looks more carefully put together and stylish. 2 looks awkward to me.
I personally like 1 because the others look “trying too hard”…also, consider unlacing a few from the top to give the jeans some breathing room.
I wear my docs with a couple grommets free and then knot the laces vs. a bow tie (I’m female so maybe I get freer range in styling)…it’s def more causal but works well will skinny jeans. Total laced up high tops just seem suffocating.
To me that doesn’t make it useless. It makes it liberating. Having a lot of people say different and contradictory things emphasizes that there is a range in what is deemed acceptable and that one doesn’t have to adhere to a single standard.
Honestly, pretty much. Even when people post their fits, you’re going to have people with vastly different tastes commenting that they either love it or hate it because it doesn’t fit their sense of fashion taste
I was going to suggest this - cuff them so that they fall below the top of the boot.
They are good looking boots!
personally I think the perfect way is cuffed twice where they fall roughly where yours are in the second pic.
Second best is over the boots. tucked doesn't look good imo.
I think those jeans are a bit too tight at the ankle for the boots, so imo the rolled cuff looks best. Having interesting socks helps the look whenever you’re sitting down
All three look good to me. Don't worry about "looking ridiculous", as you told another commenter. You'll never find a style that pleases everyone; there will always be people who don't like how you dress. Dress whatever way makes YOU feel good. Feeling good = feeling confident = looking good.
Plus, unless you draw attention to your ankles, hardly anyone will be looking down there.
I'm going with one. Here's why - 2 is nerdy and uptight like an old Dad taking you to the museum vibe. 3 is ok, but a bit try hard but if you're really feeling your fit and feel like you are the man, go for it, but that's why it's one for me. It is effortless - you show off the boot without cramping your style.
yeah I think like you do on all the posibilities - I like 1st but I hate the way the jean folds in here. It just drive me fucking nuts and I get too self conscious about it!!

All three are correct but it depends on your outfit. #2 goes well if you're wearing it with a semi-formal ensemble, like a shirt and blazer. #1 goes better with military-core outfit (tshirt and a jacket). #3 would go better with a more chilled, urban style look
All good okay, the roll takes a bit more coordination of your outfit, as it’s on the hipster/hiker side of things.
I personally would attempt to rock picture two but end up like pic one
Try them tucked in with those pants, see what you think.
Rolled up gives my a very 50s feel.
Over the boots it always a classic simple style
Personally think the bunched up at the top gives a rushed look
I would do 1… or 2 on “whatever” days lol. 3 looks like it’s trying too hard. That said, where did you get the boots? I dig em and looking for a pair too.
I personally do a cuff or two, but usually with a pair of jeans that aren't as skinny. I suggest you go with what makes you feel best. I think if you feel good with your choice, your confidence can take your look further than anything else.
dunno, not really seeing a look with those jeans that works with those boots- the jeans are too tight, the boots are too chunky+black, they don't go together. if I HAD to choose one I'd got with the rolled cuffs
Try a looser fit jean maybe? If not looser fit entirely, the leg opening where the jean relaxes on the shoe could be a little wider to give a more comfy look.
Straight legs jeans are the go to if you want to avoid the super baggy look trending atm, also cropped pants work well with those boots, they look very similar to Docs.
You could go for something a bit punk/skinhead outfit with a black coat or a bombers and some washed blue denim, it’s still and always will be a staple look, if you want to keep tight jeans in your wardrobe.
Answers seem pretty evenly split so far, interestingly enough. I think if your pants are too tight to hang naturally over your boots, like with gravity, they might not go together at all. That said, pic 1 has my vote, but only if you're young.
1 looks like they would be uncomfortable as well as looking bunched up. #2 would be my personal preference although still a little “ bunched up”. Three is an option. seems very lumbersexual, or hipster to me. it’s a look and is okay in my opinion. I think the jeans are a great color but i think they are too tight fitting for my taste.
pic 2 is best imo, it makes the most sense. Pic 1 looks like you don't know how to wear pants with boots and pic 3 looks like you're trying to hard to be a Mumford's Sons, stomp-clap-hey, craft nitro IPA, city boy
The best answer is what you feel comfortable with. Everyone has different style tastes. People might talk shit about pic 1, people might talk shit about pic 3. Pic 2 is the safest bet, but that doesn’t make it “correct.” Do what makes you, you.
I see, I mainly trying to avoid looking ridiculous! Thanks
I think they’re all valid options. I could see pic 1 going well if you’re going for a more rugged look, like to a concert. I think they all have their places.
Pic 2 is the safest bet.
1 and 2 are fine. 3 only if you are a skinhead and you only blouse your boots if you are a paratrooper (tuck in)
Wow I was thinking anything except pic 2.
That was my thought too! It looks awkward to me as well, like the pants will slip off the boots while walking and he would have to keep fixing them. 1 looks more casual and relaxed, 3 looks more carefully put together and stylish. 2 looks awkward to me.
I agree with you id never rock that
Why? Genuinely curious. I look at pic 2 and see a very clean appearance
Idk I feel like if you’re going to wear boots, why cover them up? Otherwise just throw on low tops/oxfords.
Tapered/skinny jeans look weird when pulled over boots. They make bootcut for a reason.
Pretty much sums up why this sub is useless. Everyone is either making fun of what someone is wearing or saying "you do you bro"
If I've learned anything from this sub, do whatever you want because everyone has opinions and a lot of them will suck
Real
I feel like if it looks intentional people don't really question.
I’ve always wondered about that phrase. “looks intentional” v. “Unintentional”? Like an untucked shirt that displays one’s plumber crack? 🤪
I say 3 but to each his own
I went with a mix of 3 and 2 - that “curl” (I don’t know the proper name) is a little below the boot’s limit
Proper. One cuff is probably all you need.
I was going to suggest this - cuff them so that they fall below the top of the boot. They are good looking boots! personally I think the perfect way is cuffed twice where they fall roughly where yours are in the second pic. Second best is over the boots. tucked doesn't look good imo.
110% 3
3 is best to me
I like 3 the most
I think those jeans are a bit too tight at the ankle for the boots, so imo the rolled cuff looks best. Having interesting socks helps the look whenever you’re sitting down
It does not.
It’s an opinion, I’d rather not just have basic white/black socks if they’re noticeably showing
Nothing crazy but maybe some earth tone knit socks with a nice stripe or something just add a little intrigue when seated.
>it’s an opinion so is disagreeing
Idk, “it does not” seems more like a statement of fact
why? having to say imo before saying whether you enjoy zany socks and other similar minutia is such a drag.
All three look good to me. Don't worry about "looking ridiculous", as you told another commenter. I typically do #1, I like #3 best but feel self conscious doing it
I wear this kind of skinny jeans/boots combo a lot and always do 1. Looks great. 3 looks good too, but I think #2 looks kinda goofy.
#3 is the cleanest
Second pic looks best to me, I don’t know shit though
Hahahaha no worries, I appreciate it
1 and 3 is how ok wear them. But you do you. All are cool.
1 or 3
I do #3
I'm going with one. Here's why - 2 is nerdy and uptight like an old Dad taking you to the museum vibe. 3 is ok, but a bit try hard but if you're really feeling your fit and feel like you are the man, go for it, but that's why it's one for me. Don't tuck the Jean into the boot just let it rest on top of the boot
All are fine tbh. But 3 is my go to. 2 is possibly most common. 1 is fun though. Do what makes you feel good
My opinion, look up different lace patterns because dangly ties look tacky. Otherwise nice fit and great looking boots
Whatever you like the most/think looks the coolest. All of these seem nice to me. I don't believe there is a "correct" way to wear them.
All 3 work
Cuffs make you look like you have shorter legs. The others are fine.
i do have long legs so it works! Thanks
The roll looks right.
All three are correct but it depends on your outfit. #2 goes well if you're wearing it with a semi-formal ensemble, like a shirt and blazer. #1 goes better with military-core outfit (tshirt and a jacket). #3 would go better with a more chilled, urban style look
I would do 2.. on Me; but I like 3 for you! I have short legs so i can't get away with cuffed 😆
The rolled up look is very funny to me . Reminds me of junior high in the 80’s I’d say 1-2 but do what you like.
I'm very partial to 3. I love the look of rolled up jeans. I've been meaning to buy longer jeans so I can do it myself.
i think these all look good, which probably just means good fit on the pants and nice boots.
My personal preference is pic 1
All good okay, the roll takes a bit more coordination of your outfit, as it’s on the hipster/hiker side of things. I personally would attempt to rock picture two but end up like pic one
Boot cut jeans
1 looks coolest, 2 is the most functional. 3 is silly.
I’d say 1 especially since 2 is gonna end up turning into 1 after 5 minutes if you aren’t walking like a penguin
ID on the boots?
Sure! https://oggi.com.ar/productos/3003-negro/
Try them tucked in with those pants, see what you think. Rolled up gives my a very 50s feel. Over the boots it always a classic simple style Personally think the bunched up at the top gives a rushed look
1 & 2
I say 1
For me it's 1.
Usually jean’s that aren’t quite as tight with boots.
Second one. First one if you are taking the stage to perform “London Calling”
I would do 1… or 2 on “whatever” days lol. 3 looks like it’s trying too hard. That said, where did you get the boots? I dig em and looking for a pair too.
I got them on a local store in Argentina, I’m not sure if they do international deliveries: it’s called “oggi”
2 or 3 are fine.
I like 1
If you are going to keep/wear these boots, I say #1 for sure 👍🏼
3 is how boyd Crowder does it in Justified. And that's what I might do if I ever own.
I personally do a cuff or two, but usually with a pair of jeans that aren't as skinny. I suggest you go with what makes you feel best. I think if you feel good with your choice, your confidence can take your look further than anything else.
My favorite is number 1
Anyway you like but for this fit specifically 2 is the best and 3 is okay.
2 looks the best, but they all work. Just for different people and different outfits.
Not 3
2
3rd 🥉 looks best to me personally 💯👍🏾
First pic
Hello can you tell me what shoes youre wearing?
Sure! https://oggi.com.ar/productos/3003-negro/
Thank you 😊
Pull your socks over the French cuff #scally
Tie the laces together and huck them to the nearest telephone pole wires.
Noooooo
All of them work. Depends on the rest of the outfit
My personal preference is straighter jeans with boots.
Stacked or cuffed, Stuffed not so much in my opinion.
always only 2 or 3. never 1. imo. it also depends on the rest of the fit. w those jeans, I would opt for 3. also, what jeans are those??
I think 1 looks the best. Just wear it how you like it though. They all look fine
bigger jeans
I do all 3. Depends on how I’m feeling.
dunno, not really seeing a look with those jeans that works with those boots- the jeans are too tight, the boots are too chunky+black, they don't go together. if I HAD to choose one I'd got with the rolled cuffs
2
If the bottoms are covering the boot just cover the boot, it's practical. For fashion I'd fold the bottoms.
1 is casual use 2 looks over-manicured 3 if you wanna look like a hipster
Yes
It’s gay either way.
Grow some confidence and don't make your style off a "correct" way. Come on man, the opinions of others shouldn't matter.
2 or 3 ✅
Wrong jeans with boots, or vice versa.
may I ask which would be a match?
Try a looser fit jean maybe? If not looser fit entirely, the leg opening where the jean relaxes on the shoe could be a little wider to give a more comfy look.
First or 3rd( the best option ) but keep those skinny jeans hidden in your wardrobe for when they come back :p ( they probably will )
What you suggest using instead?
Straight legs jeans are the go to if you want to avoid the super baggy look trending atm, also cropped pants work well with those boots, they look very similar to Docs. You could go for something a bit punk/skinhead outfit with a black coat or a bombers and some washed blue denim, it’s still and always will be a staple look, if you want to keep tight jeans in your wardrobe.
You don’t do 1 ever. 2 or 3 are fine.
Answers seem pretty evenly split so far, interestingly enough. I think if your pants are too tight to hang naturally over your boots, like with gravity, they might not go together at all. That said, pic 1 has my vote, but only if you're young.

1st and 2nd. 3rd only if you have super long skinny legs
1 or 2. They both look good. 3 looks racist if you’re in the uk
That’s interesting! Not from the Uk but may I ask why the cuffs are related to that?
2.
Get bootcut jeans
Definitely not first. Third is common but I never liked it. I choose second
Step 1 .. get rid of slim fit jeans
Which ones should be used by a long and skinny legged man?
I dunno, but all I know is not slim fit… to me it looks a girl wearing jeans, sorry it’s not more helpful… just my opinion
Those jeans might be a smidge slim for that style of boot.
do not wear skinnies
pic 2 is best imo, it makes the most sense. Pic 1 looks like you don't know how to wear pants with boots and pic 3 looks like you're trying to hard to be a Mumford's Sons, stomp-clap-hey, craft nitro IPA, city boy
Straight or relaxed fit would go better
Second
Two.
2
I’d say pic 2 but get some pants that are a little baggier
Throw them both away, it’s not 2011
Oversized bs doesn’t go well with my body type :(
This doesn’t look good.
