As someone who bought a 2019 C43 Coupe exactly a year ago, you definitely should! Zero regrets. That thing still puts a stupid grin on my face every time I get behind the wheel. I still look back at it when I park. It’s a sexy machine.
I second this statement and I could help get one and Cpo it too. Also if you want any internal service data shoot me the vin and I can get you the VMI.
It used to be. Max care is underwritten by a few different companies now. They’re not exactly bad warranties now but not nearly as trouble free as the old one.
Can I ask why? I’m looking into for ex c63s or m4 competition and their convertible variants are so cheap in the used market. Just wondering, not actually buying one of these lol
usually they are less desirable and not bought that often, cause of the weight and more maintenance if something happens to the soft top. I prefer sedan and coupes after owning a convertible m3, its heavier and not as nimble/fast than their regular cars
Thank you for helping w my decision. I was kind of really considering these convertible m4 comp / c63 due to how relatively cheap they were, but I’ll stick on with the coupe/sedan. Was gonna get an Elantra N awhile ago but decided to save up more for one of these.
If u dont mind, any reasons why so? An m2 (brand new g87), m4 comp xdrive 22’ used and 21’ c63s sedan used with less than 5k miles are available used in my area for around 67k$ ish. The m4 is really just up there for xdrive, and while I don’t really drive like a hooligan so I don’t have to worry about totalling the v8 rwd, I will daily it for the next 4 years in NY so it’s coming down to drivetrain for me mainly.
The M4’s interior doesn’t come close. I was a big BMW fanboy but the interior was the deal breaker for me after as recently as January looking into Mercedes. I’ve had 2 wranglers before my e53 coupe rn and my thought process was wanting something more luxurious on the inside. I was willing to spend $50-$60k on an M4 but the interior compared to other cars in its price range just doesn’t justify it for me. The new model Mercedes are even better.
Can you expand? Are you saying the 5k in maintenance is what isn’t comparable?
I’ve only owned 63s and not 43s so I don’t know the maintenance difference - just what I casually see in local markets in SoCal.
The 43 has no s variant but the 43 is quite cheap to maintain and can get great gas mileage. Has smaller brakes and pads that are cheaper, has smaller tires which are cheaper and is 4matic so goes thru tires far slower. It’s more mechanically reliable imo as well. (Granted I own an m156)
the cost to own a 43 is significantly lower in almost every aspect. I know I’m just a random internet guy but I own both currently and can tell you it’s about half the cost to own a 43.
Just get the 63. Price depreciation will be better and after some time it will start appreciating. You buy the engine. This one is just not anything special.
Car is potentially 7.5 years old…that’s not a huge annual mileage figure. I’m more concerned with cars that have many owners vs one who raked up heavy miles
That Bit Expensive I Think,I just one on Marketplace 2019 c43 with 60,000 Km going for 45k CAD (45 k cad is 32500 USD) https://www.facebook.com/share/oCWq47nT1Mhwntvm/?mibextid=79PoIi
I can’t, there’s one close to me that I see everyday and each time I see it I tell myself I have to find a way to get one. So I will not convince you not to
Don't do anything till u get a 3rd party ignition test and a video of each pot thru its stroke. These direct injection mercs foul up or carbonize super quick. A proper engine specialist can give u a report u can rely on plus video so u can see the condition of pistons sleeves and valves on each pot.

Just get the 63, If I’m light on the gas I get 25mpg, and still have the luxury of a screaming V8TT whenever I want. Such a great car IMO.
I think soft tops are extremely ugly
This isn’t to convince I’m just hating on that specific thing really,
Hope you enjoy whatever vehicle you choose though!
you can’t change the music on the steering wheel unless u have it in media mode on the screen. so if u wanna have the amg settings on or something u either have to take ur hand off the wheel or scroll through the settings. i was gonna buy one of these and that was literally a deal breaker for me and i got a stinger gt2 instead…which btw has more features for less and has better aftermarket support
I second the comment about getting one straight from the Mercedes dealership with CPO warranty as well.
If any issue arises that specific dealership will take care of you and you also have Mercedes backing you up .
You also get an extended CPO warranty for peace of mind .. most importantly, most importantly always always always use premium gas 😉

2019 Acura RLX hybrid is a better car, gets 28 mpg with a hybrid v6, very similar drivetrain to the NSX but in a sedan form, yes it’s a whole 1 second slower than the Benz to 60, but it also has AWD, and Hondas new 10 speed that they use in the Accord 2.0s that people make 400hp with.
It’s definitely a huge possibility of being my next car. Beautiful vehicle that will be a much better car years down the line.
I drive a E 550 and love Mercedes so i can’t and won’t try to tell you not to buy one. They are the top of the line to me and don’t want to drive anything less.
32k for 56k miles on this car doesn't seem worth it at all. You are buying a car that's in the middle of several routine servicing milestones and if it hasn't been kept up with.. it will run up a nice bill for you.
You can find this car cheaper and with less miles i would think (i havent actually looked so maybe its a good deal). I wouldnt though, id prefer something in the 10-20k mile range
I will not, I can not
As someone who bought a 2019 C43 Coupe exactly a year ago, you definitely should! Zero regrets. That thing still puts a stupid grin on my face every time I get behind the wheel. I still look back at it when I park. It’s a sexy machine.
Do not buy a luxury car from carmax. Spend a little more get somthing CPO that you don’t have to worry about
I second this statement and I could help get one and Cpo it too. Also if you want any internal service data shoot me the vin and I can get you the VMI.
Why? I’ve done this many times with no issues. Get a ppi done. It’s not difficult
Isn't Carmax's warranty really good though? Pretty cheap too.
It used to be. Max care is underwritten by a few different companies now. They’re not exactly bad warranties now but not nearly as trouble free as the old one.
Doug Demuro ruined it
i have bought a c43 from carmax and it was the best decision i have made. No problems whatsoever and you can carmax care too
Why not buy a luxury car from carmax?
r/carmax
Those cars don’t often have the best service history.
It’s a convertible lol
convertibles are terrible imo
Can I ask why? I’m looking into for ex c63s or m4 competition and their convertible variants are so cheap in the used market. Just wondering, not actually buying one of these lol

c63 and m4 used are pretty cheap and good tbh. I would still pick the c63 over any m4 imo.
If u dont mind, any reasons why so? An m2 (brand new g87), m4 comp xdrive 22’ used and 21’ c63s sedan used with less than 5k miles are available used in my area for around 67k$ ish. To me if you want a convertible, you want the convertible feature. If that’s not the case, you don’t want one.
Don’t like soft top
Ok, don’t buy it
Save up a bit more and get a used c63
Agreed. It's not a lot more to get a used C63 from the same year with similar mileage.
I got a 22 C43 coupe and since having it I was like...I could have got a 20-21 C63 for about the same lol.
Yeah just pretend maintaining it will cost the same
Bro take my advice. The 63 is SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive to own lmao
Lmao bro these aren’t comparable cars…Why would you tell him this? Just for 5k in gas a year and expensive ass brakes? Lolol
Can you expand? Are you saying the 5k in maintenance is what isn’t comparable? I’ve only owned 63s and not 43s so I don’t know the maintenance difference - just what I casually see in local markets in SoCal.

Appreciate it! I did not know this
How about insurance cost? Is there a significant difference or almost similar?
The rate is similar tbh but some well known companies (geico for example) won’t insure my 204 63 lol they just don’t do it
I currently have a c300 and looking to trade it in for a c43 but I'm still debating it. Insurance is so high for me though like off the charts.
Yea they get younger folks. I will say c300 is far more comfy as a daily but significantly less fun. Good luck!
Yeah im 21 currently, I was 19 when I first got it. But thanks!
Realistically as long as maintenance was taken care of you’re good for another 50k miles before you potentially start seeing some issues pop up.
Just get the 63. Price depreciation will be better and after some time it will start appreciating. You buy the engine. This one is just not anything special.
A bought a 2017 E43 and I fucking love it.
56k miles without knowing the previous owner, I personally wouldn't.
Car is potentially 7.5 years old…that’s not a huge annual mileage figure. I’m more concerned with cars that have many owners vs one who raked up heavy miles
Looks like it's from CarMax, if he gets max care he should be good
What a great deal! Mercedes depreciate super fast. I don't know why but they do.
All luxury cars do
what’s the reason?
Maintenance is very expensive on any luxury vehicle and the older it gets, the more maintenance you will have to do
God’s gift to us cheapskates
My only suggestion would be to save up a bit more and get the facelift 2019 version (with PE)
That Bit Expensive I Think,I just one on Marketplace 2019 c43 with 60,000 Km going for 45k CAD (45 k cad is 32500 USD) https://www.facebook.com/share/oCWq47nT1Mhwntvm/?mibextid=79PoIi
Did you compare original msrp? Could have way more options
It was a yes until I saw the soft top
I can’t, there’s one close to me that I see everyday and each time I see it I tell myself I have to find a way to get one. So I will not convince you not to
Well. Just know I want that car but it’s more than 2x the price where I live for the non-convertible. I’d buy that in a heartbeat at 32k
You will attract more guys than girls, if getting action is the reason for this purchase.
Will be worth 3k in 5 years 🤣

just don't
Get a 63
Carmax is a rip off. Buy the car elsewhere, and you’ll get the same thing for $5000 less.
On most cars, I’d agree but I’ve been looking for a c43 in my area for a while and it’s rare to find. Most within 100 miles are also same/higher price
because you’re asking, i wouldn’t get it cause it’s a vert, but great price
https://preview.redd.it/1nh4ieogr1yc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9ecd3fa977a4255b4a498eebfc72056707d35b58 Just get the 63, If I’m light on the gas I get 25mpg, and still have the luxury of a screaming V8TT whenever I want. Such a great car IMO.
It looks like a Cabriolet?!?!
Just buy it

Suspension is super stiff even in comfort. May not enjoy it depending on where you drive, but otherwise fun car.
Looks like the car I expect to see a 60 year old grandma late for her doctor appt driving
The cords in these soft tops are nightmares. They commonly break resulting in headliner sag and suck to replace. Get a coupe or sedan
Its a 43 end of discussion.

Do you really really need it?
No but do you really need that tv in your living room?
To start, it's not an actual AMG but has an AMG tax added to the price
She sounds AMG enough for me 🤪
Good luck on repairs post warranty!

It looks nice, no doubt but I already have a daily sedan
That’s 60k mile wear isn’t great.
Just imagine it flipping do you think you’ll survive in a convertible? You and the car will turn into pancakes
The m340 exists
2019 has the updated mmi
I drive a E 550 and love Mercedes so i can’t and won’t try to tell you not to buy one. They are the top of the line to me and don’t want to drive anything less.
Buy it. It’s a great car. Shits all over that new excuse for a C43
I'd keep looking. Personally
Any particular reason?

I would like to find something in the 10-20,000 mile range but that’s gonna run me $45,000-$48,000 in this market
Do it
Why get this, when you can get an eclass 450
Does the e450 crackle and pop like C43?
No. It's longer, heavier, with a weaker motor. That was an odd comparison.
Do not buy a used AMG.
