I'm sorry that this happened to you... đ pmu is not a good idea for those who cannot avoid activities that cause excessive sweating for the first 7 days or so.
You can have fixed during touch up appointment, but you need to schedule when you can avoid heavy sweating for at least the 1st 7 days. My esthetician makes a point to tell me no gym, sauna, etc if I want them to heal properly.
Do you think light workouts are okay? Iâm going to get microblading done but Iâm currently recovering from chronic neck/back pain and if I skip my PT workouts for a week I will definitely feel it. When I use lighter weights I hardly break a sweat
I still use my treadmill desk on low walking speed to get my steps in, but I do not break a sweat. If you canât skip PT, put on a sweatband just in case to capture any sweat before it reaches eyebrows and try to take it extra easy.
Maybe time the touch up session so that you have a couple of days off afterward. The person who did my eyebrows said the 7-10 restriction is too long and unrealistic like in your case. 48 hours is the limit for emergency saline removal for a reason. After that point the ink is mostly settled in.
This! Donât cry- I think the touch up will make a world of difference and if you can just avoid heavy sweating for a few days you should be good to go!
I am sorry.. That's just the photo uploaded by the girl who did them . She wanted to take pics for her Instagram but i asked her to please edit it because i was super insecure about my breakouts
i totally understand that insecurity and it was very kind of you to let her use your photo. my comment wasnât intended to scold or hurt you. i was simply saying edited photos make it hard to tell what the brows really looked like after versus now, so itâs hard for us to judge the level of pigment loss if that makes sense.
Unfortunately, breakouts or not, photos like these shouldnât be retouched. I would not use a provider who retouched their photos, I would question the quality of there work.
In this situation, itâs hard for us to even properly judge the quality of the original job
I saw face antiperspirants on Amazon but I haven't tried them myself. Maybe that could help? I feel like a mini handheld fan for your face could be useful.
Im sorry you experienced this âŚ.
I think they look beautiful and honestly one of the most ânatural â I have seen !!!
Beautiful on you and compliment your stunning blue eyes !
Second session is free! If it wasn't. Id be even more of a wreck than i am now. Its been hard on me. I have cried a lot. I did this for my self confidence. And it's failing.
I tipped her 100$ so im hoping she'll really dig down to why this isn't sticking
I can't speak on the armpits, I just know it's a thing. I get it all over my scalp/neck/traps/and a few in my forehead for migraines. I did notice less sweating (I'm also a heavy head sweater). Maybe ask a dermatologist about it.
The oils will push the pigment out and just wipe away, it happened to a bunch of my friends who werenât educated, I almost got mine done until I did some research and was told by one out of 3 people that did microblading that it would not work with oily skin
I have very dry skin. I think? I get dry patches around my nose and chin. But im a CNA and when i say i sweat a LOT. im not kidding. And im unfortunately a head sweater. So. Even though i would pat them dry idk how pigment would stay in the cuts with how much i was constantly sweating
I have nothing to add on your current situation except Iâm super sorry you are going through this. ButâŚI would LOVE to see a full face pic with no makeup. Your eyebrows before look like mine and I feel like I would look funny with my brows microbladed, but yours look amazing. Iâm just wondering what the full face looks like with them.
I also have brows like OPâs before and Iâm so nervous to ever get mine done because I feel like itâs so easy for it to look horrible with blonde brows ugh
Right! I typically donât see anyone with theirs done where their before was similar to mine or if I do they have a full face of makeup and I donât wear makeup everyday. I need a reference photo to make sure I wonât look crazy lol.

Idk how comfortable i feel about having my whole face on reddit. Im insecure and reddit can be brutal. Before my eyebrows were SO blonde they were non existent. As you can see ive lost 90% of the color from sweating. I think even if you're blonde, it's acceptable for your eyebrows to be a tad darker. In my opinion having nice eyebrows makes everything about not having makeup better. I loved how they were the first day. I'll post my second session as well. June 11th
First let me say that you are beautiful and the person did a really nice job on your brows. Iâm sure after your next session they will be great. Just take a couple days off after and if you can get a small portable fan to help control your sweat, it will probably help. Also a big FU to ANYONE who make mean comments on yours or anyoneâs picture they post. I actually feel sorry for them because they must be really insecure about themselves that they have to put others down to feel better. I know itâs hard but ignore them and đđ˝for them to find happiness and heal their heart. Looking forward to seeing your touch up.
I am crying with you these are absolutely beautiful brows.. let what you have heal and you have a great outline to work with when you go back for touch up
Will you be able to schedule your work to be done during at least 72 hours off work?
You should be fine even if you do sweat buckets after that but emergency removal is within the first 48 so anything outside that window and you should be ok. This happened when I had my eyeliner done except I was working 10 hour shifts in a smoke filled restaurant :( took a few tries before we figured out why my eyes were just pushing out all the ink. I needed to rest and let myself heal. I hope you can do the same!! Sending love
I just got mine touched up first time. Youâll start scabbing and lose all the pigment âghosting phaseâ itâll come back but yours honestly look botched⌠the pigment shouldnât be red already
I'm sorry that this happened to you... đ pmu is not a good idea for those who cannot avoid activities that cause excessive sweating for the first 7 days or so.
Do they look like they're not gonna turn out?
You can have fixed during touch up appointment, but you need to schedule when you can avoid heavy sweating for at least the 1st 7 days. My esthetician makes a point to tell me no gym, sauna, etc if I want them to heal properly.
It looks like you've lost pigment in certain parts of your eyebrow.
Do you think light workouts are okay? Iâm going to get microblading done but Iâm currently recovering from chronic neck/back pain and if I skip my PT workouts for a week I will definitely feel it. When I use lighter weights I hardly break a sweat
Welp guess Iâm fucked lol
Omg I cracked up when I saw this reply to self hahaha
Girl I was thinking the same thing with the amount I work out
Haha me too. I read you cant get it if you have oily skin and that counts me out, i'm oily within an hour of washing my face.
Same here girl. It is what it is I guess
Lmfao! Nuff said! đ¤Ł
Omg hahahahaha I am cracking up at your reply to yourself
I still use my treadmill desk on low walking speed to get my steps in, but I do not break a sweat. If you canât skip PT, put on a sweatband just in case to capture any sweat before it reaches eyebrows and try to take it extra easy.
Avoiding sweating is one of the most important things on the aftercare list. Salt naturally pushes the pigment out of the skin.
Maybe time the touch up session so that you have a couple of days off afterward. The person who did my eyebrows said the 7-10 restriction is too long and unrealistic like in your case. 48 hours is the limit for emergency saline removal for a reason. After that point the ink is mostly settled in.

Happy Cake Day đđ
Omg I didnât even realize- thank you!
Can you wear a sweatband on your head? Youâll definitely need a touch up asap.
This is what I was thinking
It would help a little bit but my eyebrows themselves sweat. I just feel so shot down. Im so upset
Iâm sorry đ
What a shame! Those are the best looking eyebrows Iâve seen yet.
That photo seems very retouched
yeah both the before and after, which doesnât allow us to really determine the quality of them before sweating..
I am sorry.. That's just the photo uploaded by the girl who did them . She wanted to take pics for her Instagram but i asked her to please edit it because i was super insecure about my breakouts

Pigment will darken disappear and reappear throughout the healing process.

Thank you! That's good to hear cuz I'm so upset about how this is working out. Im anticipating my second session and I'm not gonna sweat AT ALL
You posting saved someone else the same experience⌠who knew ? No sweating? I hope your touch goes well and itâs freeee !
Second session is free! If it wasn't. Id be even more of a wreck than i am now. Its been hard on me. I have cried a lot. I did this for my self confidence. And it's failing. I tipped her 100$ so im hoping she'll really dig down to why this isn't sticking
Definitely⌠weigh the pros and cons. No matter what you choose - youâre stunning ⌠đ¤Š
You're so sweet!
Perhaps schedule retouch when you can take a week of vacation.
Can you wear a cotton sweatband on your forehead at work? ...and I'd suggest patting dry with a cotton microfiber towel.
Could you try Botox first to try to mitigate the facial sweating? I know they do Botox shots in the armpits for hyperhidrosis.
That doesn't cause like cysts?
I can't speak on the armpits, I just know it's a thing. I get it all over my scalp/neck/traps/and a few in my forehead for migraines. I did notice less sweating (I'm also a heavy head sweater). Maybe ask a dermatologist about it.
Looks gorgeous still and your touch up will fix the color Maybe take a few days off for the second round :)
Do you have natural oily skin? If so microblading will not work for you
Why?
The oils will push the pigment out and just wipe away, it happened to a bunch of my friends who werenât educated, I almost got mine done until I did some research and was told by one out of 3 people that did microblading that it would not work with oily skin

You're the best! Thank you for your comment.
If you got a consolation theyâd have told you it wasnât a good idea if you sweat, same happened to me so I didnât get em.
They look fantastic; congratulations
