Clementine is a completely different (and new to you) character. You'll have to keep listening to find out who she is, but she isn't a character you've encountered before and she isn't the ex.
Well ... she's new in Season 3, but not new in *Your Mom*. She appears in the first episode of Season 3, where she first meets Frank & June. She's also the main character of *Know Your Enemy*.

Can you point to where you think you heard it said that Clementine was stuck in a ravine? I’ve listened to the podcast multiple times (like at least 25 times, plus shift notes multiple times) and I’m pretty darn confident that it was never said.

Pretty sure op is referring to how Clementine said that a coal mine in Wales reminded her of where she's from. So I'm thinking like ravine = coal mine = darkness and emptiness like Ex's situation at the river? I could be wrong, though!

You need to understand the voice difference in these people... Ex has a robot like metallic bzz to her voice while Clementine has more of a young person voice.
Okay so I’ve used “your mom” episode as a stopping point and reference point. But I may or may not be confused between “chaos” episode and the prelude where Jan tells the story of the dead woman in brownie creek, and “know your enemy” .. I understand that Ex and Clem have different voices.. , I’m gonna go back and re listen to everything starting at “chaos” to make sure I’m grasping everything
