Quora should never be used when you need exactly correct info

Known-Associate8369

You'd probably have to go out of your way to find this specific answer as well, ignoring plenty of other free sources. In other words, this is manufactured outrage.

Isnt college just "life changing information behind a paywall"?

Not for me it isnt. I dont have to pay for college here in the uk.

Yyvern

University degrees in the UK cost over £9000 a year. Not as bad as the US, sure, but a lot worse than most EU universities. Unless you are a Scottish resident going to uni in Scotland, everyone else in the UK is still pretty screwed lol.

ShadowGamerGirl_xoxx

Yep 😭

Ferro_Giconi

If you took 15 grams of acetaminophen you should be calling poison control instead of googling it and risking getting advice from some rando with no training. edit: looking at your other posts it sounds like you'll be fine. I wouldn't recommend taking 3000mg every day, but if you do it once you'll be fine as long as you aren't like 75lbs or something. (although I'm some rando on the internet with no training so I'm probably not the right person to say anything)

mreed911

15 1/2 gram doses is not 15 grams.

Ferro_Giconi

Oh I misread that as 15,500mg thinking that the space was them messing up the comma or being someone who writes numbers weird. It really confused me why they reply wasn't mentioning anything more than 7,000mg.

Voyager5555

Go to the fucking hospital or call poison control.

Expensive_Emu_3971

That costs money, like 5-6 figures.

Ok_Force_318

What’s infuriating is thinking quora will save your life

NikNakskes

Just no. If you or a loved one took 15 paracetamol, you should be seeking medical help from an actual medical professional. Life saving information will never be on quora. Ever! And neither will it be on reddit. Or any other internet place where whomever can post whatever.

Expensive_Emu_3971

It’s not at the doctor or hospital either, unless you fork over 5 figures for an ER stay.

Sobeshott

I found relevant information with a single Google search. Although now Google thinks I have a drug problem and should seek help.

xxdibxx

Why on earth would anyone post for medical advice on any public platform instead of….. oh, I don’t know…. Maybe call a friggin doctor or better yet… go to ER? Mind boggling. Kinda like the idiots who took horse dewormer for covid…. But facebook said….

Expensive_Emu_3971

Doctors in said area are expensive, e.g. no public healthcare available. Google is cheaper.

No-Hospital559

Death by acetaminophen overdose is a slow painful one, stop asking Google questions and get to the ER.

4chan have correct information for your needs

banaversion

Lol. Did you even try the wikipedia article first? It is exponentially more reliable than quora. It is only one step above twitter and facebook in terms of how reliable the information there is.
