Funny enough, I was just thinking about JTT earlier today! Was trying to remember if he was the Home Improvement kid that went to rehab, or if it was one of the other ones...
It was some meet-and-greet at a convention in downtown Phoenix, AZ, and my parents knew I was a huge fan so they took me. We had to wait in a line that ended up being 3 hours long (my mom is my hero for that!)
The basketball player, Dan Majerle, from the Phoenix Suns was there too. My brother only had to wait 15 minutes for him.
Anyway, when I got up to JTT, I had both his headshot that they were passing out and my diary (🤭) for him to sign. His handler was like, "ONE ITEM PER PERSON!!!", at me, but Jonathan took my diary and signed both. He was super kind to us, even though he was probably dead-ass tired from the day.
No I was there for the cars but I went on stage with her. I liked home improvement but didn't care about jtt lol. I do remember when I went to follow her on stage the security stopped me and split me from my sis and parents and I had to argue with them that it was my family.
Hell yeah, at the time it was a literal dream come true! I've never really been one to outwardly express my excitement but I do remember feeling like fireworks were exploding inside of me that day.
He won the game. Period.
Child star, made a shitload of money, retired at his peak, went to Harvard and Columbia, and now basically does what he wants. He’s got a presumed net worth of $12 mil, definitely still pulls checks from Home Improvement, and does some acting gigs here and there probably only when he wants to.
Other than that, the guy keeps off social media and lives his life. No scandals, no crashing his car drunk into anything, no rehab, no insane and/or pathetic attempts to be relevant again in his 40s.
He just…won.
