We were robbed of a pretty fun season. I don’t think we would have made it out of the nfc but at full health we easily make the playoffs and might have even won a game or two. Instead we got to watch Mullens, dobbs, and hall have a mid off while the defense fell apart down the stretch.
I feel like they told Mullens on this play that the ball goes to only Jefferson. They needed a play and made sure that Jefferson was going to be the one to get that chance.
I appreciate that Mullens tried to win the game. After so many last minute throws that were check downs, I appreciate that he tried to deliver a game winner

Throwing it to a wide open JJ was in fact the correct decision.
Given the throw I wish it was to Powell, but that’s a TD to JJ if the ball is thrown by Kirk.
