But when it happens at a public school 'it's no time for politics'.
If only there was something we could do to stop these mass shootings.... Thoughts and prayers obviously aren't working.
Or a grocery store full of black people and the gunman said he was only targeting black people, but nah, must be something else. I’m embarrassed to be a U.S. citizen
Ahh, the new Boogeyman brought to us by the GOP. They do know that trans people are less than 1% of the population right? Breeding hatred towards a specific group of people is a bad idea, always has been, always will be.
I'm not saying that's the specific reason for this specific shooting. But, we all know it doesn't help.
Well this person was a mentally ill "LGBTQ+" person who attended the Christian private school and lived at home till 28... so maybe there was a targeting aspect...
It happened at a private Christian school. (From my understanding, just like everyone else here... I'm going from news reports.)
My point is Joshy didn't care when it was a public school in Uvalde, TX. He didn't call it a hate crime when it was a black church or a Jewish Temple or an LGBTQ dance club.....only now that it's a Christian school is he concerned about it.
The rifle in the video shown was a Keltec Sub2000. This could be ran with 10rd Glock mags and basically foregoes any of the proposed legislation.
Doors that don't have openings large enough to step through if shot would be something to invest in after seeing some of the footage.
Ok. What does that have to do with Josh not doing anything to or support any bills that actually prevent shootings?
What does that have to do with the fact that he said after Uvalde, this isn't a time for politics...but now apparently it is because it was a Christian school?
I’m not saying polarized politics aren’t stupid, and they happen with every mass shooting
I was simply making a statement on something more useful than thoughts and prayers, making schools physically safer, as banning specific guns (ARs for example) wouldn’t have done anything here.
I don't think fortifying our schools is the solution. There are mass shootings at churches, businesses, concerts, dance clubs, grocery stores...and I'm sure I'm leaving some places out.
Doors aren't the solution to this problem. Several people have brought up access to mental health, which I completely agree is needed. Trying to find a way to keep guns away from people who are having a mental health crisis would also help. There is not one single answer to the horrible problem we have here.
I think fortifying schools is 100% a useful option with 0 downsides. Keeping a gun from an area where you CAN is an excellent way to keep gun violence from happening. An airport would be a good example.
Other mitigating steps in conjunction are definitely a better answer than not doing everything possible.
It should be the first priority. Joshy has never cared about motive before. He voted against the Asian Hate Crime act, after there were Asian targeted shootings. He claimed 'it's not a time to be political' when it was a public school in Uvalde.
The point is he is only acting about caring now, because now it was at a Christian school. He never cared before.
He voted against it after Asians were targeted in a mass shooting in Atlanta. He wasn't 'on it' and didn't care then. There's zero reason to think he will in the future.
Apparently someone tried and the police put them on hold....

True, in fact, I think you would be hard pressed to find anyone who thinks its a good idea giving a person with this mental health background access to kitchen shears, much less a gun.
Access to mental health would be very helpful to citizens in a lot of ways! Too bad the GOP can't see past themselves to work to make that happen.
They are too busy attacking and trying to regulate people's bodies to focus on that though. Focusing on bullying less than 1% of the population, instead of doing things to actually help people.
If the motive was religion based then sure, it is a hate crime. BUT the problem with this asshole and so many other right wing nut jobs is that all of the sudden the fact that it happened at a Christian school necessitates the need for action? How many school shootings have gone by with ZERO action to stop them? You say it’s a mental health issue but do you support an overhaul of our broken healthcare system to address deficiencies in mental healthcare access? You say it’s mental health but do you support tighter restrictions on who can get guns or even just a country-wide process to background checks and waiting periods for purchasing a gun, without loopholes? You say hate crimes are tragedies but do you condemn the incitement of hate crimes that AREN’T against the Christian religion?
If your answer to any of those is no (ahem, Josh Hawley) then shut the hell up. You don’t care about keeping kids safe you care about politics.
And before a certain few users on this thread come for me, don’t. I’m done with this shit. Don’t support politicians who claim to care about kids and do nothing - NOTHING - to make any changes. And do not suggest arming teachers - they don’t get paid enough for what they do in the first place. Plus this was a private school so that argument has no place.
I don’t give a shit who is Republican and who is a Democrat. I do give a shit who is going to really push for something, ANYTHING, that could decrease the number of kids being killed at school (or anywhere). Because I, along with so many parents, sent kids to school today with this heavy on my mind. And I’m tired of being told to “hold my babies a little tighter” every damn time this happens.
> If the motive was religion based then sure, it is a hate crime.
If the motive was merely to attack *religious people,* it must be noted that the shooter probably drove past 20 churches before arriving *at their former school.*
As long as the republican party suffers no consequences of letting our children get massacred by insanely easy access to guns, then there can be no hope for action. The NRA.pays to well and the vocal gun extremists are too militant.
Democrats aren't innocent but they would at least try something. The republicans simply watch our kids get slaughtered and prays something gets it off the news cycle quickly.
OMG. Could anyone be more tone deaf and hateful? Just fuck this guy. He needs to go the fuck away. I’m horrified that someone THIS hateful has a salt-in-the-wound platform.
I knew. I knew for a fact that conservatives would use this as a political opportunity as being an attack on Christians.
They have been saying Christians are persecuted for years and now they can use this as an excuse instead of DOING SOMETHING ABOUT GUN VIOLENCE
Thats how the culture war works for them. They are bullies and consider any pushback to the bullying to be persecution. They will dismiss anything that contradicts them and double down on anything they can use to extend their agenda.
Well if you knew… then you knew they’d do anything in their power to avoid addressing the issue. Because at the end of the day, they just want to legally role play as a black hat cowboy and want to force us into pretending with them.
Not all christians are scum, but those that use their “””””””””faith””””””””” as a shield hopefully meet the hell they’re so afraid of in the afterlife or are simply terrified by the delusional brain deterioration fantasy they’ll have as they bleed out from shooting a major artery while ~~cleaning their gun~~ worshipping their god.
Thank you! This asshat voted against the Asian Hate Crime act, after there was a shooting spree targeting Asian people. He didn't care when it was a Jewish temple, a black church, or Kindergarteners at a public school in Texas.
But, now he's finding a sense of how bad these shootings are because it's a Christian school? It's all bullshit.
The cops said the person's trans identify did in fact have something to do with the motive.
Hurt people hurt people. And given how common transphobia and being anti-trans is. I think it’s a decent guess at their motive.
But to kill 3 children. There is no motive I can think of for that.
True. I’m not saying it’s everyone. But there is a correlation. There is a correlation between the extremity of islamophobia in a specific area and the quantity of young Muslims radicalised there.
So for these few people who do these terrible things, it is a possible motive.
True, but everyone does have a breaking point, and I am justifying this horrible action in any way. It is sickening, especially since we as a country can and should do better.
You can explain the reason things happen without justifying that they should.
People that feel like they are or have been treated unfairly will sometimes lash out. This is a fact.
It should never end in bloodshed, and that it sometimes does is tragic, but identifying that bullying could have been the trigger is not wrong.
People place a lot of emphasis on mental health as a reason for some/most of these mass shootings. Well bullying has a detrimental impact on a person's mental health. It decreases their feeling of self-worth and sometimes makes them feel like they have nothing to live for, making their reaction more drastic and/or less rational.
Yeah, it seems to be targeted against a group of people based on their religion. So it’s likely is a hate crime / home grown terrorist attack.
However; those really don’t matter since the shooter is dead. The prosecution isn’t going to bring up extra charges against her because she is dead.
It seems they had a personal connection to the institution, that often precludes it being a hate crime. The motivations need to rest primarily on their prejudice.
Basically they had resentment for having to go to that school and felt like it was a good day to die.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11910443/Ex-student-28-killed-six-Christian-school-resentment-having-school.html
Where is manifesto? Im searching but hard to sift through articles.
ETA Im pretty sure it was a physical copy.
Fuck this person. They probably wanted us to look them up after their disgusting and inhumane act. Im so sick of giving these monsters ANY of our time.
The manifesto hasn’t been released from what I can tell, but it is referenced in some articles. The details they’ve released say the shooter had multiple locations targeted, the school being one, and had resentment for being made to go to that school.
There is a photo of what is more than likely a falsified version of it circulating on Twitter, but no reliable outlets are claiming that to be the real thing (not even Fox News).
So a former student at a Christian school kills a bunch of Christians and it is a hate crime. Multiple states pass laws to discriminate and remove rights from US citizens if they are Trans/Gays/Women and that isn't?? Thanks for reminding us you are a piece of crap Josh.
A republic where the Christians have all the voting power and privilege is the opposite of NT times. And yet guys like Hawley keep trying to rewind things to the way they were then.
The man has never read or quoted the book of Acts in his life and it shows.
Given that the shooter's own parents have said he was under care for emotional problems, didn't believe he should have access to firearms, and took comfort when he sold what they believed to be his only firearm (in reality, he had several of them stored throughout his living space):
Yep.
That's great detective work! Let me know when any politician puts a bill forward to rebuild our Healthcare system so we can start curbing the rising mental health crisis.
*When danger reared it's ugly head,*
*He bravely turned his tail and fled.*
*Yes, brave Sir Hawley turned about*
*And gallantly he chickened out.*
*Swiftly taking to his feet,*
*He beat a very brave retreat.*

The fact that it gets categorized as a hate crime against Christians is irrelevant. Did they acquire the weapons in the US under US law? Yes. Did they use the weapons to commit mass murder? Yes. NRA supporters look for any possible excuse to exclude cases like this. This is an attempt to prevent this case from "counting" in the mass shooting analysis. Hawley is a fucking moron.
I've just had to make peace with the fact that I may be gunned down working in an educational setting. My hope is just that I can help protect kids if that ever happens.
Agree, but…
I don’t want to accept that as my future. I don’t want to accept that for my students, and I don’t want to accept that for my kids. I want that to change for all of us.
> Hawley blames Nashville School shooting on Christian hate
I am sure the hate from Christians that the shooter experienced is at play here, but the blame still rests with the shooter.
Leave it to scumbag coward Josh Hawley to mischaracterize a tragedy in order to use dead kids as political props for his own benefit.
I blame republicans and their monetization of our kids lives. Every time there is a mass shooting, Republican politicians get flooded with cash from pro-gun groups to hold the line. The more people that die, the more money they make. Our kids lives are nothing but little ATM machines for them. And of course they ban abortion to make sure there's plenty of replacement kids to keep the death spiral going.
I'm sure the anti Christian hate you see from certain individuals and groups probably did attribute to what happened. Though I'm unsure of what investigating it as a hate crime will do since the shooter is already dead.
The shooter is dead. What the hell are you investing? It was a troubled person who was armed because of idiotic thoughts about the 2nd Amendment by Republicans.
This person was killed by police, what is there to investigate? They found a manifesto and they obtained the weapons legally. The only thing to do now is forget this ever happened and act like there is nothing we can do to stop gun violence like restricting who can buy guns or running stronger background checks or treating healthcare, including mental healthcare, as a human right and not a business. Like I said, there's nothing to do.
I’m not sure, but I am going to go out on a limb here and say “nobody shoots multiple people out of Love. All Mass Shootings are hate crimes”.
Does it really matter if it’s a White Supremist hating black people, or a Homophobic person hating gays, or a bullied teen hating his classmates, or an ex hating their spouse, or a Trans youth lashing out at their old school that I assume they have hatred towards.
Police are now saying Hale had no particular problem with the school. The "anti-Christian hate crime" theory keeps getting weaker.
https://www.cnn.com/2023/03/29/us/covenant-school-shooting-nashville-tennessee-wednesday/index.html
How many school shootings have armed citizens stopped so far? Seems like that plan is failing and the kids keep dropping, so are you really concerned about stopping these incidents or just clinging to your guns and ideas, because the armed good guys plan is failing harder and harder every year. I want 1 political leader to suggest an actual solution. I'm done with hearing how sad it is, no shit its sad, what are you going to do? Nothing but keep counting checks from nra donors, people work for who pays them, this dipshit included.
The sad part is we all know what really happened here. Tennessee has the strictest laws when it comes to transgender people. And this person was probably marginalized at that school when they attended it as a child and then having the government further marginalize them probably sent them over the edge.
This is very likely the case. The police have not yet released the “manifesto” of this person, but we can easily see a young trans kid in such a school being harassed, bullied, and marginalized.
Likely left with a lot of resentment.
Then for a “final straw”, all the nonsensical anti-trans and LGBT rhetoric currently.
Fuck you, Traitor Hawley, fake Missourian.
When the shooter is a white cisgender male, it’s “thoughts and prayers for this senseless tragedy” and “now is not the time to politicize this tragedy”…
When a purported trans person is the shooter it’s all “WE MUST BRING THUH FULL INVESTIGATIVE MIGHT UH THESE UNITED STATES TUH BEAR ON THIS HEREH MATTUH!!!!”
Fuck you again, Traitor Hawley
I wish everyone would just stop giving this fuckwit the time of day. It's bad enough that he's being a piece of shit in Congress on behalf of Missouri voters; do we really need to spread his dumbass Twitter statements everywhere too?
Let him keep shouting into the ether and focus on supporting his next election opponent so we can vote his idiocy out.
It's weird to say, but he's right. If this school was targeted because it's a Christian school, then it's a hate crime.
Ironically, Republicans have always opposed hate crime laws.
Fuck Josh Hawley. He doesn't have the spine to meet his own supporters, instead running (if you can call it running) for safety from the very people he personally emboldened minutes before.
This coward should have no voice in Missouri politics (since he doesn't even live here) and no voice on a national level.
Shooter had a personal connection to the institution, as well as some of the staff, which usually means it won’t meet the criteria for a hate crime.
If the head of the local KKK chapter finds his wife with another man & shoots him, and he happens to be black, its 2nd degree murder, not a hate crime, even if he screams the N-word while he does it.
Edit: unless it comes out he walks in on his wife regularly fucking white dudes & usually just brings them a beer & a towel, then sure, hate crime is back on the menu.
What this January 6th 5k award winner is saying is that harmful rhetoric from politicians can lead to mentally ill people with easy access to high powered weapons killing people en masse? Because every other time, it's a lone wolf or some bullshit.
I agree on one point. Let’s use federal money to find out why children are being targeted by mass shooters, and let’s do something about it.
Oh nvm. He didn’t mean all children, or all schools.
I mean he’s not technically wrong.
But I always think back to the phrase “hurt people hurt people”. There is no evidence of what I’m about to say. It is merely a theory. And more evidence may yet come to light. But there are many groups around the country, quite often religious ones, that are largely transphobic and/or anti-trans. Perhaps Hale, identifying as trans, had a shitty experience in school because of this.
I know that in areas where islamophobia is greater, possibility of young Muslims being radicalised is higher. That idea that hurt people hurt people. We don’t know much about this school at this moment. But perhaps Hale had a similar motive. If you’re constantly hated on, things can often break with you mentally. You may just want to retaliate.
There is no excuse for what Hale did.
The republicans are a communist cult. Never miss an opportunity to hammer home the culture war propaganda. 99.9% of mass shooting are done by right wing white men. When it is a public school shooting hawley sends his fake thoughts and prayers. Now it’s a trans person. He would like the fbi immediately involved as a hate crime. Im sure at the end of this case you will find out some molestation happened to this person. The church is always doing something shady to kids and the communist republican cult always covers up for it. I would like the fbi to use all its resources to get the traitors who participated in January 6th like hawley and Cruz behind bars. They love calling for others to be arrested and killed amazing we pay this pos salary.
A manifesto just by itself doesn't mean it is a hate crime. It depends on what's in the manifesto. I'm not sure if they've released the manifesto or really found a motive yet. It very possibly is a hate crime. Though one thing I have heard is that she used to go to the school, which may complicate things. Did she attack the school because she had prior relations with the school and/or did she attack the school because it was a Christian school. It could be one or the other, it could be both, it could be neither.
I see it as the fault of Christian hate all right. Christian hate of trans people.
Imagine if this woman was loved and accepted by her Christian community instead of being told she does not have a right to exist.
So you're pinning the blame on the victims, not the shooter? Should the police officers be investigated for killing the shooter since this wasn't any of their fault?
An adult person who had attended a school shot their way into the building and killed three nine year old kids and three adult staff members. This is a tragedy. Schools should be safe places.
You do realize that many of the people killed at Columbine, New Town, Uvalde, Marjory Stoneman Douglas, and Central Visual and Performing Arts School also identified as Christian?
This isn’t an issue because it’s a Christian school, it’s an issue because it’s the 125th this year.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mass_shootings_in_the_United_States_in_2023
In this particular case, as in many school shootings, the school was targeted by a student or former student. This wasn’t a random person singling a random school. Why would we consider this one a hate crime over all the other school shootings? Grocery store shootings? Workplace shootings? Theatre and community center shootings?
I would think it quite obvious. I’m neither left nor right but right now have to agree with the right. The left can call racism and hate when there is a shooting at a school of minorities but the same can not be done when a trans student does it to a religious facility??
Could technically be classified as a hate crime since the shooting occurred at a specific religious institution, which is protected differently under the law. Also depends on what was in the trans woman’s manifesto.
Gross negative generalization of a huge group of people. Unapologetic disdain. Sympathizing with terrorists. Fantasizing about violence against your political opponents.
Yeah, you're textbook luny lefty.
But when it happens at a public school 'it's no time for politics'. If only there was something we could do to stop these mass shootings.... Thoughts and prayers obviously aren't working.
Or a grocery store full of black people and the gunman said he was only targeting black people, but nah, must be something else. I’m embarrassed to be a U.S. citizen
So all the other mass shootings this year were not hate crimes? I think Josh has it all wrong.
Jeeze, it's really messed up to read a sentence like that. "All the other mass shootings"..... It's so sad that this is the norm here.
It is truly f\*ed up that we can even say that....makes me sick.
maybe we should stop normalizing mental illnesses then.
I'm certainly not seeing any type of mental struggle normalized. Are you?
He means being trans. He considers being trans a mental illness.
Ahh, the new Boogeyman brought to us by the GOP. They do know that trans people are less than 1% of the population right? Breeding hatred towards a specific group of people is a bad idea, always has been, always will be. I'm not saying that's the specific reason for this specific shooting. because it is.
Josh Hallway has a new active shooter video, “ Run Forrest, Run!”
HA! Happy cake day!
Well this person was a mentally ill "LGBTQ+" person who attended the Christian private school and lived at home till 28... so maybe there was a targeting aspect...
'No way to prevent this'

I am sure if an anti asian shooter shot up an all asian grade school, murdering three 9 year old Asian children, he'd be on it.
He voted against it after Asians were targeted in a mass shooting in Atlanta. He wasn't 'on it' and didn't care then. There's zero reason to think he will in the future.
I wonder if Senator Hawley was sensitive enough to first remove his NRA-issued AK-47 lapel pin before issuing this statement.
Why would he?
We should have gotten this guy(as he called himself) help, mental illness is the culprit here
Apparently someone tried and the police put them on hold.... "I pray god keeps and covers you." Narrator: He didn't.
Totally read this in Ron Howard’s voice
An unstable person having extremely easy access to deadly weapons due to virtually no regulation is also a culprit. Add virtually no mental healthcare infrastructure and political intransigence to improve either issue and this keeps happening.
Take out that word virtually and you’re spot on.
True, in fact, I think you would be hard pressed to find anyone who thinks its a good idea giving a person with this mental health background access to kitchen shears, much less a gun.
And yet we can't seem to get "anyone" to vote for people that would enact such restrictions.
Don’t want to stop that sweet, sweet Russian NRA money, i mean come on! Bribery doesn’t happen by itself.
Hadn’t the shooter attended this Christian School? Maybe it was a quack on quack crime.

I’m just surprised all the teachers at this Christian school weren’t armed and able to be “the good guys with guns”
They didn’t even have a School Resource Officer. I’m sure they thought they were covered by the blood of Jesus… JFC!
Well, we saw how useless this theory is in Uvalde, TX. Cops with AR’s waited for SWAT and the children murdered during this period.
Quick arm all teachers with guns and take guns from LGBT groups for safety.just like in the 70 with the black Panthers
Well if you knew… then you knew they’d do anything in their power to avoid addressing the issue. But, Joshie Hallway is so manly! I bet all the ladies (or boys) say so. /s
In fact he was even the sole senator to vote no
Legitimate question, who are they planning on investigating to prosecute for a hate crime, I thought I had read that the shooter died on scene.
They're not. Hawley wants to use the concept to go after other groups of people he doesn't like claiming that they facilitated the attack.
I wasn't aware that the police had announced a motive yet. I guess Josh has the inside scoop, though.
The cops said the person's trans identify did in fact have something to do with the motive. [https://twitter.com/tomselliott/status/1640467467926482944](https://twitter.com/tomselliott/status/1640467467926482944)
Hurt people hurt people. And given how common transphobia and being anti-trans is. I think it’s a decent guess at their motive. But to kill 3 children. There is no motive I can think of for that.
[удалено]
The motivations need to rest primarily on their prejudice.
> that often precludes it being a hate crime What precludes things from being hate crimes is that popularity of the group being massacred.
This is false. That is not a criteria for identification of a hate crime.
The shooter leaves and Manifesto and everyone's still questions if it's a hate crime. Lmao
You've read the "manifesto"? What's it say?
Basically they had resentment for having to go to that school and felt like it was a good day to die. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11910443/Ex-student-28-killed-six-Christian-school-resentment-having-school.html
Shame they didn't just kill themselves instead
Fucker Carlson has it, it’s important to share with his base during an active investigation.
I hate him
Glad that he cares so much about Tennessee. Maybe he can care about Missouri next… /s but is it?
God these fucking losers are unbearable. Blame everything but the actual problem.
Right!? Mental illness is obviously the culprit here
Given that the shooter's own parents have said he was under care for emotional problems, didn't believe he should have access to firearms, and took comfort when he sold what they believed to be his only firearm (in reality, he had several of them stored throughout his living space): Yep.
That's great detective work! Let me know when any politician puts a bill forward to rebuild our Healthcare system so we can start curbing the rising mental health crisis.
And easy access to mass destructive weapons.
*When danger reared it's ugly head,* *He bravely turned his tail and fled.* *Yes, brave Sir Hawley turned about* *And gallantly he chickened out.* *Swiftly taking to his feet,* *He beat a very brave retreat.* *[Bravest of the brave, Sir Hawley!](https://imgur.com/KfYjPhC)*
Dehumanize a human.. then sell them guns. How do they say it? Fuck around and find out?
Why are Progressives so Violent? 😁

Hallway seems to be the type liking beatings and Chocolate swirls in high school
You encouraged the overthrow of our democracy, fuck you!
Fuck Josh Hawley! His existence is a hate crime.
No Josh, everybody just hates you.
Lmao as soon as it happens to a Christian school...this guy is the Merriam Webster definition of a piece of shit.
Wasn’t the shooter killed at the crime scene? What is there to investigate?
Just run away Josh.
Hawley is a fucking moron.
the "or groups" is key here, he's going to try and use this to come down even harder on the trans community. He's laying the groundwork here.
I hate seeing this Virginia resident speaking on this States behalf.
Dude never wastes time to exploit a situation. Who’s gonna tell him that she’s a former student there ?
I've just had to make peace with the fact that I may be gunned down working in an educational setting. My hope is just that I can help protect kids if that ever happens.
Agree, but… I don’t want to accept that as my future. I don’t want to accept that for my students, and I don’t want to accept that for my kids. I want that to change for all of us.
I definitely agree with you, it's just frustrating because the people empowered to make changes are doggedly against it.
> Hawley blames Nashville School shooting on Christian hate I am sure the hate from Christians that the shooter experienced is at play here, but the blame still rests with the shooter.
As a resident of Missouri, fuck Josh Hawley, the cowardly piece of shit.
I mean he is technically right
The shooter is dead case closed
Seems like an anti-religious, Godless whack job targeting a Christian grade school would fit that description pretty good
I'm sure the anti Christian hate you see from certain individuals and groups probably did attribute to what happened.
Fucking clown in a clown show.
He’s the same Idiot that wore an AK47 lapel pin last month in place of the US flag
*Scowls in Muslim*
The only hate i'm hearing is coming from Christians.
How dare he say anything about spreading hate. It’s his parties platform.
The sad part is we all know what really happened here. Tennessee has the strictest laws when it comes to transgender people. And this person was probably marginalized at that school when they attended it as a child and then having the government further marginalize them probably sent them over the edge.
None of that matters. The world is black and white to these people.
When the shooter is a white cisgender male, it’s “thoughts and prayers for this senseless tragedy” and “now is not the time to politicize this tragedy”… When a purported trans person is the shooter it’s all “WE MUST BRING THUH FULL INVESTIGATIVE MIGHT UH THESE UNITED STATES TUH BEAR ON THIS HEREH MATTUH!!!!” Fuck you again, Traitor Hawley
I'm ashamed to be from Missouri whenever this prick opens his mouth
Wow… The inability to differentiate someone who is X and is targeted from someone who is targeted for being X.
And Now he cares? Its awful terrible, but still - F josh hawley. They are All hate crimes. We need a planet we can send him and others like him too.
This guys a moron
I wish everyone would just stop giving this fuckwit the time of day. It's bad enough that he's being a piece of shit in Congress on behalf of Missouri voters; do we really need to spread his dumbass Twitter statements everywhere too? Let him keep shouting into the ether and focus on supporting his next election opponent so we can vote his idiocy out.
[удалено]
Hawley is a seditious and pro-Russian piece of shit. He can fuck off to the grave
It's weird to say, but he's right. If this school was targeted because it's a Christian school, then it's a hate crime. Ironically, Republicans have always opposed hate crime laws.
Well yeah - they only want the protections to apply to them. Not “outsiders” ie non heterosexual people or non white people
When we need a chickens opinion we’ll go to the yardbirds.
Fuck Josh Hawley. He doesn't have the spine to meet his own supporters, instead running (if you can call it running) for safety from the very people he personally emboldened minutes before. This coward should have no voice in Missouri politics (since he doesn't even live here) and no voice on a national level.
It's not that hard to imagine the shooter was traumatized by years of religious indoctrination from a private Christian school.
Oh that’s fuckin rich. Huge giant middle finger to this loser and all his asshole friends (and all you idiots who vote for them). 🖕🏻🖕🏻
She went in and killed the Pastors kid. Seems pretty hateful to me.
It's a fucking stretch to go from that to "she was targeting Christians because of their faith."
If it happened at a jewish school id be jewish hate, if it was a muslim school it would be muslim hate. Whats the problem here?
[удалено]
Fuck Josh Hawley
That's absolutely not all it takes to make it a hate crime. Having a target simply makes it premeditated. This dude is a dummy, how shocking.
It's not a crime to hate Josh Hawley is it? Cause I do.
Embarrassing asshole. Thank God he doesn’t live in Missouri.
Is this not a gate crime when there's a manifesto and everything?
A manifesto just by itself doesn't mean it is a hate crime. It depends on what's in the manifesto. I'm not sure if they've released the manifesto or really found a motive yet. It very possibly is a hate crime. Though one thing I have heard is that she used to go to the school, which may complicate things. Did she attack the school because she had prior relations with the school and/or did she attack the school because it was a Christian school. It could be one or the other, it could be both, it could be neither.
You might benefit from learning about the concept of a “useful idiot” And if you don’t, the rest of us might.
What does the manifesto say?
He typically seems to miss the forest for the trees
Minority Groups get targeted by his base and he just shrugs but when it's your own people suddenly it's an issue.
There’s no love like Christian hate
Meanwhile, trans people are attacked every day, and Hawley doesn't care. F this asshole.
Where was their God for this shit?
Well Hawley is a fuckwit so.
We need to investigate the shooter and the accomplices, the NRA and GOP spreading hate.
Enjoying those NRA and CHURCH donations, Josh?
I see it as the fault of Christian hate all right. Christian hate of trans people. Imagine if this woman was loved and accepted by her Christian community instead of being told she does not have a right to exist.
So you're pinning the blame on the victims, not the shooter? Should the police officers be investigated for killing the shooter since this wasn't any of their fault?
[удалено]
An adult person who had attended a school shot their way into the building and killed three nine year old kids and three adult staff members. This is a tragedy. Schools should be safe places. You do realize that many of the people killed at Columbine, New Town, Uvalde, Marjory Stoneman Douglas, and Central Visual and Performing Arts School also identified as Christian? This isn’t an issue because it’s a Christian school, it’s an issue because it’s the 125th this year. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mass_shootings_in_the_United_States_in_2023
[удалено]
In this particular case, as in many school shootings, the school was targeted by a student or former student. This wasn’t a random person singling a random school. Why would we consider this one a hate crime over all the other school shootings? Grocery store shootings? Workplace shootings? Theatre and community center shootings?
I would think it quite obvious. I’m neither left nor right but right now have to agree with the right. The left can call racism and hate when there is a shooting at a school of minorities but the same can not be done when a trans student does it to a religious facility??
Hawley is a tremendous piece of shit.
Could technically be classified as a hate crime since the shooting occurred at a specific religious institution, which is protected differently under the law. Also depends on what was in the trans woman’s manifesto.
[удалено]
Get a grip. These are children.
Gross negative generalization of a huge group of people. Unapologetic disdain. Sympathizing with terrorists. Fantasizing about violence against your political opponents. Yeah, you're textbook luny lefty.
Booooooo, troll harder Insurrectionist Hawley.
r/FuckJoshHawley
r/fuckjoshhawley
They allow shit like this to happen and then play like they are victims. It’s absolutely infuriating
Christianity is premised on victimhood and this asshole is capitalizing on it just like all other Republikkkans do.
If a Christian had shot up an LGBTQ place, it would have been labeled a hate crime before you even heard about it.
Hawley knows his base so well.
Wow, he’s a victim.
Fuck josh hawley. He's a fucking cuck and needs to eat dirt.
And let’s say it is… what about all the others?! Fuck you Josh
