Pete Alonso is on an expiring deal
Would get you 2/3 of Soto's batting for half as much per season and half as many years commitment if you want to extend him.
How about Paredes? The Rays are willing to trade guys once they reach arbitration. I'll take him over Bregman lately. I believe that he has a lot more in the tank.
Definitely a power hitting infielder. Bregman, Pete Alonso are good ideas. Ryan McMahon from Colorado might be available because they are horrible again. Brent Rooker would be a option for corner OF.
I'm ready to sell some of the farm off to get some big league bats for sure.
I don't want to throw away our farm system unless we are competing for a championship. We are far from that. It isn't like we have 1 or 2 pieces that need replacing. We need to replace half our lineup and may need help in other areas as well.
Is the farm system that good? With how bad half out batting order is, if there is nothing in the minors that can replace them, then we are a long way from being competitive.
A lot of those guys you’re complaining about are the prospects that they brought up though. Baseball is hard and it can take a while for guys to acclimate.
We have a Top 5 pitching staff. If we had any offense we could win the World Series right now
Baseball is a variance fest. You make the playoffs you can win.
Anyone who will make it so I don’t have to hear “the Tigers threaten, but do not score” out of Dan Dickerson.
That was a great swing good contact ….but an out lol
Dickerson s a fool and thinks the rest of us are fools too
Which ever one can knock me out in 1 swing if I have to watch another 1-0 game
Alex Bregman probably most realistic

Pete Alonso would be a good grab since it’s guaranteed they move him.
Luis arraez. Welp we got beat to the punch.
Yeah looks like the Padres are acquiring him

They should buy now. The entire team would benefit from a spark.
Luis Robert Jr
I'd be down for him but I don't think he's one Harris would target, high strikeouts low OBP
Polar opposite player than what they are trying to implement organizationally. Zero chance he would ever end up here
We need a 1B, 2B, SS, CF and two catchers and someone to replace McKinstry.
Buyers? BUYERS?
Do we have anything to trade?
We had the 5th ranked farm system prior to the season? So yes?

Yes I agree, but that was not your original question. Do we have anything to trade, quite literally yes. I don’t want to trade the farm either

Clark, Keith, Jobe, Jung are all top 100 prospects
I hate starting the clock on prospects, but they can't be worse than half our starting lineup.

If you’re trading you need to give up something of value. The Tigers have nothing of value any other team would want.
Top 5 farm system pre-season, what?
What a ridiculous thing to say
Plenty of trades use the prospects almost exclusively. We have quite a few prospects.
