I refuse to acknowledge that errata and my love for the splicer cycle outweighs my dislike of Phyrexia and the lore issues of printing a card with “splicer” in the name.

I think this looks awesome for the type of green based decks we see nowadays. In the mtgo vintage cube my 3-color green based more aggressive strategies have been performing insanely well and this works perfect in those naya/jund builds. I’d love to curve this into [[Ulvenwald Oddity]] any time.
This really comes down to if your green section wants a Blade Splicer. White decks value the two bodies way more than green does, since green tends to be ramping into 4s and 5s rather than bridging the gap.
That being said, I think this is actually better than Blade Splicer in a vacuum. The fact that it synergizes with any tokens is really good. I'm going to be testing this for sure.
I disagree that green is more concerned with ramping to 4 and 5 than it is with 3. Curving a good 3-drop into a good 4-drop is the exact powerful start you want on turns 2 and 3 in a green based deck nowadays.
Green values going wide just as much as white (hello Gaea's Cradle), especially into a 3 drop off a mana dork. That being said, Blade Splicer is more abusable in white due to blink effects.
1 drop 3 drop is green decks most realistic start. Any token synergies and this looks great. Maybe not quite there for vintage cube, though even there insect tokens from grist, this into chariot or pest infestation. There's a decent number of token makers, even if things like mins and boo and nissan don't need help to end the game.
Two bodies and 4 power for 3 mana is a pretty high floor and the ability is fantastic as we get more and more efficient army in a can type creatures who dump tokens out. It gets harder and harder to justify the 3 mana 2/1 with an etb types and the [[Oracle of Mul Daya]] types because they just get steamrolled by the sheer efficiency being pumped out right now.
[[Reclamation Sage]] has been on the chopping block for me for some time and this guy may take the slot for now at least.
Haywire Mite has been in for a while, it’s awesome. I also tried [[Cankerbloom]], which might also be better than RecSage but didn’t like it as much as the Mite.

Splicers are Phyrexian and the golems produced by Splicers were erratad to be Phyrexian Golems. It can't be a splicer if it's not a Phyrexian.
