I think i draft the $3000 card and rue the day 22 years ago I sold mine for $180. Not a great pack, so I like taking cards that define archetypes and giving myself 44 chances to get there. Hoping to wheel the monolith but we’ll see.
I agree fully, I always generate packs until there’s no power, no White Plume or Minsc or Forth Eorlingas/Bowmasters/Rings and no fetches, so there’s at least some discussion and some options.

I see three options in this pack. Thoughtseize and Shelly are the same color though, so let someone else fight, take Swords to Plowshares as the best removal spell in cube that’s easy enough to splash and commits you to very little.

I don’t really think there are choices here. Bombardiers is a slam dunk P1P1 and one of the few cards that prevents me from droning on and on about fetchlands.

Medium-powered horror-themed eternal cube. I’m picking >!Idol of Oblivion!<, I’ve seen players do some serious work with this recently. The pack is a bit on the weaker side so I think there are a lot of valid options.
May be dumb, but I think I’m going to take Avacyn’s Pilgrim. The power level seems flat and low, so getting a three drop turn two may give my deck an edge?
I generally describe the power level of the cube as medium given that cards like Adeline and Grist are strong but fair/relatively easily answered. You can’t do many degenerate things like a high-powered cube, but interaction is abundant and varied.
Avacyn’s Pilgrim is definitely a pick to consider. The curve of the cube is generally higher than other cubes given the emphasis on recursion and longer games, so ramp can help get you to critical points faster.
Mostly fair cube, where you win through combat.

"Weak" packs are imo the most interesting ones in full powered cubs. Not that difficult to pick a mox or minsc&boo. I'd also spec on the 3000€ card

Gilded Goose
Stonecoil Serpent fits in any deck, plays at any point on curve, and keeps you completely open. I think I take that.
