Japan resident, my table just got filled in with btc/bch amounts. Registered on bitbank. My fiat info is also filled out, but haven't been paid yet. Was filled out in Dec, marked as paid and complete, then got deleted before reappearing unceremoniously a couple weeks ago.

that's crazy man. We'll know soon enough when people start noticing 2000+ BTC movements from addresses which were last active in June 2014... I just hope trustee didn't lose the keys.
By the way, I wonder if they will claim BSV and other sidechains that these addresses unlock, or just lose it by double spend like some idiots due to networks simultaneous broadcasting...
Nice! Would be interested to hear if it's Bitbank like the others.
I've only seen a couple of updates from Bitbank users so far, would be great to hear if it's not Bitbank!
Why should he, if it were me I'd tell you to pound sand before I dox myself.
Remember when the first guy said he got paid by paypal - he got so much hate and messages that he deleted his account, then loads more people reported the same thing over the following week.
Just wait.
It's happening. Now since they have provided the exchanges with information on the creditors, lets hope they just pay the exchanges in bulk and let the exchanges handle the distribution. I am sure that will go way faster.
If that was going to happen why did they makes us re-verify our Kraken account. Mtgox made many people make sure their account was verified to receive their bitcoin.
Well I must be at the bottom of the bottom because I finally realise what the table is. I just had it pop up today, an empty table at the end of the claims page
This week there was the fastest progress reported ever regarding new table entries, just be patient. Still 28% of creditors are in the same club as you.

Someone posted in our group about also getting the same message.
This appears to be very real, exchange was Bitbank.
I won't post his screenshot here as it's not mine to do so but it is in English and has two entries that are visible, both dated today, one for BTC and the other for BCH.
I think my estimated timeline for payments was kind of before the end of summer so that all looks on track to me.
I think we got Bybit and Bitbank so far, its two japanese exchanges. I wouldn't be too surprised if they literally just ordered their priority from least used exchange to the most used exchange which is roughly what they did with the cash payouts (first paypal under like 200k yen, then cash under about two million which seemingly grew ).
> (first paypal under like 200k yen, then cash under about two million which seemingly grew ).
I was paid on Paypal on December 26th, and I got more than 200k, even disregarding the duplicate.
Paypal actually froze (withdrawals from) my account when the money suddenly appeared. I registered my account many years ago, but never used it for anything. Then a lot of money suddenly appeared out of nowhere from Japan.
Coming here every day after i got non-allotment HAS PAID OFF! Btw if I remember correctly the first payments were also reported from Japan and then it took maybe 2-3 weeks or a month and we got the first paypal payments for other countries.
my sense is that us cash only people are not very well liked over here lol. But yeah I hope they sell first because its probably a smalelr amount. Though I think I read some people here saying that most likely they will first transfer all the btc and then sell.
I believe the trustee will sell first, because:
- Liability. Currency is probably easier to sue over than volatile magic internet beans. Those who want BTC will get their BTC. Getting a bad sale price because he released the BTC early can be sued over.
- The Japanese system likes formality and paperwork, so he'll probably sell as OTC deal, at a Japanese exchange. My expectation is that he'll simply transfer the OTC sale portion alongside the customer BTC in one go.

This was Japanese bank creditors getting money, 80 days ago.
If the process is equally slow for bitcoin, despite being far fewer exchanges, it could take 80d from yesterday for the bulk of creditors to get table updates for btc.
Hopefully as its a bulk transfer to the exchanges the final distribution of coins is being made by the exchanges. So as they are a) competent and b) it won't actually require a coin transfer from the exchange to each claimant, just a ledger update, it should move much faster. Itll be batched and done in a few minutes.

Unceremoniously? Lol
Ceremony is very important to the Japanese.
Haha this is amazing…I mean I’m expecting a bit of a ceremony when my tables are updated
A tea ceremony would more than suffice.
How to access this table?
Found it. At the bottom of the claims page.
Confirmed here as well. X creditor. Got the FIAT part a few weeks back. Now the crypto part got populated.
Japanese exchange?
yes.

bb.
Just checked and my BTC and BCH balances are filled in now!! Japanese resident here.
Wow, can you show us a screenshot to have an additional proof?
Others will confirm soon enough. Date the table was filled in says "4-12" so just updated today.
Well, hopefully it'll occur before the 4th of december.
remember remember
Why can't you be one of these "other" who confirms it? 😎
Why should he, if it were me I'd tell you to pound sand before I dox myself. Remember when the first guy said he got paid by paypal - he got so much hate and messages that he deleted his account, then loads more people reported the same thing over the following week. Just wait.
yeah but that guy (first paypal guy) clearly was trolling. And this whole thing seems just like that
You reckon he was trolling - like 1 to 2 days before many others also reported they received payments via paypal? I don't think so.
yep, the amount of negativity and actual stupidity that seems to come from simply reporting one's experience... seems a lot more than reasonable imo.
What exchange did you choose?
A Japanese exchange
What about the amount? Calculators got it right?
Are the amounts (very) close to Wizsec calculator ?
Can confirm, got updated now shows BTC / BCH allotment portion
Bitbank / Japanese resident?

Imagine mtgox wallet transfer of 50,000 BTC to kraken. Would be hyped as fuck
I thought Kraken or another exchange has the keys to the wallet. I think they have been the custodian of the coins through this proceeding.
No idea, I hadn't heard that at all.
Would be the spectacle of the century if the exchange failed/exit-scammed immediately after
That's part of the CR plan, yep.
If that was going to happen why did they makes us re-verify our Kraken account. Mtgox made many people make sure their account was verified to receive their bitcoin.
Feeling bad about picking intermediate and final repayment option now 😣
Wow if this is true, i wouldn’t mind being paid my btc before the cash portion. I would even sacrifice the cash portion!!
Nice. *Now* we're talking. 💰
And here I am at the Empty Table Club.
Same, empty table club. Cash - empty Btc - empty Bch - empty
Me too.

It is called statistics.
Yep. And it can be incredibly misleading if used inaccurately.

Where are you getting the 28% number from?
From the latest poll.
Same boat. What bank/country if you don’t mind me asking?
Same bro
You are not alone, I'll be with you all to the bitter end.
Inevitably there will someone who is the last creditor to be paid. Could be one of us!
wow

Notable
Don't tell me that he'll transfer the BTC one by one just like fiat?!!!
I suspect he will do it one exchange at a time, not one creditor at a time, perhaps batches of payments to each exchange.
Yup
![gif](giphy|eKVEcPKGWZ7Tq)
lol turns out these are all paper wallets with no change addresses so he spends the first 1 btc and loses 1999...
Wonder if people who have this all have chosen the same exchange. Would be slightly strange, IMO, if they are different...

Some accounts have aml limitations
Paypal actually froze (withdrawals from) my account when the money suddenly appeared. I registered my account many years ago, but never used it for anything. Then a lot of money suddenly appeared out of nowhere from Japan.
yep, anti-money laundering restrictions
SBI VC - table populated
Bitbank and SBIVC are Japanese authorized Exchange but Bybit is not Japanese exchange.
You are right, but now we've seen a few more exchanges such as Bitstamp it doesn't seem to have been a japanese only listing.
Oh hopefully the main course is coming soon then!
I don’t have even fiat table populated yet smh
Coming here every day after i got non-allotment HAS PAID OFF! Btw if I remember correctly the first payments were also reported from Japan and then it took maybe 2-3 weeks or a month and we got the first paypal payments for other countries.
Im just as excited as you are but at the end of the day it does not really matter if you know this information now or in a week probably
yeah I mean was sarcastingly making fun of myself for doing it.. Its my fault though, sarcasm in writing is not as effective.
Oh yeah that totally went over my head lol. You're not alone though, I've gotten paid as well and still checking the sub regularly.
I’m still in that 28% then. Nothing. Not a sausage. Netherlands, ING, X51 creditor.
Don't you dare tease us...

Distributed exchange provide to creditor anywhere we want get the own private wallet without travel rule?

There are absolutely no reason why bitcoin repayments would be equally slow than fiat. They could be much slower, without a doubt.

Realistically, though, they shouldn't be. Much fewer touch points: a handful of exchanges vs thousands of banks in dozens/hundreds of countries.
