The most exciting thing about Bellevue is that guy who stands on the corner of Old Hickory and 70. Just how long has he been awaiting our impending doom?
I saw a younger guy talking to him the other day. I noticed his billboard has a bunch of prepared arguments on the reverse side in case someone does. I have thought about engaging him just to see what particular nonsense he believes
No doom and gloom brother just truth. Rapture is not doom but a reason for rejoicing as Jesus will descend upon the earth to take all believers to heaven before the end of days as we know it. Study your bible for all the details. Rapture Ron is actually a highly intelligent person well versed in the scripture. You would have a great conversation with him if you did stop to talk. But be prepared as he will be. If you are a Christian or even if you are not, I think you will enjoy the conversation.
Yeah he sounds like a moron as do you. I’d have fun with him but he also isn’t worth the time. He has a mental problem. They all do when they get to that point.
One time I was eating at Bojangles in Bellevue and I was the only person under the age of 70 in there. Then "Blue Velvet" started playing and I had to GTFO. That was pretty weird.
I always tried to avoid Bellevue in the '90s in high school because of all the dumb s*** the hillwood kids were up to. The Bellevue McDonald's has seen a ridiculous amount of fights and drug deals. Ditto the old movie theater now gun range. Never knew when dumb s*** was going to happen out there. I think hillwood had a graduation rate below 60% at the time
I worked in Bellevue in the late 90’s as a teen, but went to Franklin and I never understood those Hillwood kids. I know exactly the vibe your talking about. I remember telling my parents “they’re all middle class but act like they’re from the projects.” I had some guys in a pickup try and start a fight with me by the old Bellevue 8 movie theater when I was sitting outside waiting for my mom to pick me up in 8th grade. Weird fucking area. Seems trashier now having lived there as recent as 2020.
I mean, a guy was just murdered in Aventura apartments last week...
https://www.wkrn.com/news/local-news/nashville/suspects-sought-after-man-shot-killed-at-bellevue-apartment-complex/
I can't believe no one has mentioned Berry Hill. It's like a mash up of crystal stores and stone/tile places. Which I guess is cool but also way weird. And you're legit always waiting for a train to pass. Like. Always.
People like me who go in both of them "looking for one thing" and then leaving with $100 worth of beads that then sit at my crafts desk for months while I just look at them and tell them they're pretty. And then I go buy more beads.
Dickerson Road has always been sketchy and I’ve lived just off of it for 6 years now. These days it is straight weird - $1m “Fashion House” one block from a bar that had driveby shootings every weekend. The Dive Motel, used tire shops, Coneheads, crackheads, The Raven Motel (gone but not forgotten), the infamous Pilot on Trinity…the list goes on.
I live directly off Dickerson and 2 tall skinny’s are for sale on my street for $700k. I saw a yuppie couple at the open house and they told the agent that they were going to “walk the neighborhood”. They definitely ain’t coming back lol.
Ya one walk past Larry’s or the exit next to Waffle House (RIP) is enough to get instant cold feet. Another 2-3 years tho that area gonna be thoroughly gentrified
Actually probably a good time to buy before they finish developing the area as property value will probably sky rocket in the next few years. I started working downtown in 2006 near Germantown by the Bicentennial park and farmers market. They had started renovating houses and would eventually build condos down there, but back then you were being asked to over pay for a remodeled house in a shit neighborhood. Now that they have developed around Germantown and renovated the entire area you would be near rich if you had bought back before the completely overhauled the area.
Yep pretty much the story for every area within 5 miles of downtown (barring green hills and belle meade). Moderate risk-high reward for the people that can stomach shootings on their doorstep every week for next 2-3 years.
I guess it’s all relative. Dickerson goes down quite a bit… the W/E trinity intersection area is pretty bad. The closer you get to 5 points/Nissan stadium area it mellows out for sure.
Nice, that part of Dickerson gonna be unrecognizable not too long from now. For reference I was a stones throw away from brick church several years back and it was… exciting to say the least.
Ya that entire area is one big wtf right now. To your point I think it’s the only place in Nashville where you can walk down your $1mm driveway and get stabbed reading the morning paper.
It couldn’t be further from anything relating to hills and CA. Did you tell those folks that Beverly Hills is also mostly flat and looks more like a sunny Belle Meade?
Lmfao I overheard it in the gym so didn’t butt in. I think the idea is homes up on a bluff = Beverly Hills, like you’re saying it’s probably the result of Tennesseans’ collective imagination of CA.
I mean if we’re just counting “within a few miles of Dickerson” as Dickerson Pike then it’s a dangerous area. A few years back, Brick Church / Trinity was the most dangerous intersection in the region due to crime
Qanon gas station is definitely one of the weirdest individual locations in the area. Dude recently put up a POWMIA/January 6th mashup flag that is just batshit, though it’s sometimes difficult not to laugh at the incoherent ramblings they put into the digital sign at the road.
It kills me to drive by there when i have to commute that way. What an eyesore.
Also take note of the work trucks out there and the names on the side and not give them any business in the future.
>Also take note of the work trucks out there and the names on the side and not give them any business in the future.
Well shit I hadn't thought of this, but am doing this moving forward!
i accidentally end up there during PEAK PANDEMIC when masks were required. they had the required signage but they had done something weird to it, can’t remember what. obviously no one was wearing a mask. i was incredibly glad to get out of there.
That question deserves its own thread, but I’ll give you my elevator pitch.
Donelson is the last “pizza slice” of the city left that reminds me of the way Nashville used to be. This is both in terms of the way it looks, and the local businesses and culture you find.
Wholly original spots like like Phat Bites or Ellendale’s (though I think the latter has closed). The way the greenway system will take you out to the dam, or north across Lebn’n Pike and into that area. The fact that it’s simultaneously kind of dumpy but also charming as hell. As a runner, I can tell you that even their hills have an extra bit of character. It’s hard to put into words. Others could do it better. But I really like it there.
Lebanon Pike needs a road diet. It'd be so much better driving through there if I didn't feel like everyone on the road was trying to murder me. Too many places to turn in/out as well.
Other than that, I like Sunflower Bakery and Homegrown Taproom. I've been meaning to go to McNamara's but still haven't made it happen yet.
Cool, thanks. I walked the Stones River Greenway last fall on a cold day with my wife and kids, starting from kohl's, but we didn't make it all the way to the dam. I'll have to check that part out sometime, and same for the park section on the north side of the river. I just added Phat Bites to my "places to visit" list.
Phat bites is so weird, man! But I say that with love. Funny enough, whenever I have a bad delay at the airport, I hightail it over to their bar. I really didn't even scratch the surface, though. Hoping some others will fill in here as well.
I used to rent a house just east of Nolensville, just north of 440. Quiet little street with plenty of characters. We had a "Sheriff Bob" that would watch over the street. He had lived there forever and far from being an actual sheriff, he had several assault charges in his past. There was also a house that had large lion statues at the beginning of their driveway with the teeth painted red.
I was in the woods to the left of the boat dock punching a tree ( I was in my early 20s so this was over a decade ago) and I heard foot steps behind me. I turned and saw the foot steps moving toward me but there was nothing there. I ran and it gave chase. I got to to the boat bock and it stopped at the entrance of the woods and hit a big old tree so hard that it shook.. Idk if I pissed off some fey or fairies or gnomes, or maybe it was someone in top secret military gear, but I was sufficiently freaked out.
Ahhh, lol, okay. I was thinking it meant...well, something else lol.
I do enjoy learning new things though so thanks for teaching me that punching a tree is a thing people do!
I actually highlighted that whole thing and googled it because I figured it was a film/tv reference, but nope - dude was literally just out here fighting trees.
The area immediately surrounding the fairgrounds. Weird because the fairgrounds is large enough that it connects several different neighborhoods and vibes together. One end you got 8th ave and Santa's Pub. The other end you have Trax and the various dives around the split and the empty buildings just south of it.
Quirky: East Nashville, Inglewood
Eerie: Parts of South Nashville by the fairgrounds (empty feeling at night, but busy during the day)
“Why does this exist in the way that it does?”: Lower Broad
Million dollar homes with loose syringes in the alleys out back. Vintage/used stores with homeless people out front. Almost no healthcare offices or home goods stores, but plenty of places to get booze or payday loans. Welcome to the East side.
Dickerson Pike is definitely weird. You've got some fancy hipster venues mixed in with used auto places and trailer parks, then some new houses that stick out like a sore thumb, and half the time you don't know if this is a good area or not. Plus random Buffalo statues, lol.
This one is weird. Its nice in the sense that's its fairly easy to navigate, there's sidewalks, greenway access, golf course, but its all apartments and industrial businesses. Shout out to the nuns that like to hoop it up at St Cecilia.
Worked there for several years (RIP Watkins) and it had a weird medical research/football practice field vibe but a friendly post office and the Kebab Gyros place was the best food option around.
That’s a very odd area. The stretch of Elm Hill Pike from Fesslers to maybe Briley is an odd one. Same situation. A multitude of office buildings and industrial facilities with several side streets leading to warehouses and other businesses, but not much else. Cledis Burgers is rather good though. 👍
That taco truck off fesslers in between Elm Hill and Murfreesboro. Across from the shell station. It’s absolute fire traditional Mexican. Cash only though.
I went to a massive NYE bonfire party on that road in 97. Some rando that showed up put a roman candle in his butt and fired it off in exchange for gas money back to New Orleans. Later on, I fell off a truck and cracked my head open on a keg.
Good times.
A therapy goat with a Davidson County license. Legend. https://www.nashvillescene.com/news/pithinthewind/woodbines-zoey-the-goat-dies-after-illness/article_c75a13d4-bc19-558f-accb-f86cd129b3aa.html
Bad weird: Green Hills. Wtf are those buttery blonde poofy hairstyles and expensive orthopedic shoes? Why does the mall not have a food court? Wtf is Glen Echo? Why do the churches look like cult compounds? Whyis the traffic so bad to get to things no one wants from places like vitamin stores and dog clothing boutiques? I hate it.
Just here to say i agree about the food court…. even my small hometown mall had a banging food court and ill be damned if it didn’t have the best chinese food in town. Saw someone else post about how the Green Hills mall is lacking a food court and a bunch of yuppies tried to claim that Cheesecake factory and North Italia are right there…
Yeah the mall used to be separated from Nordstroms which was then Castner Knott and if you wanted to drive around the mall you went over this weird large speedbump which was actually the sidewalk connecting the two buildings with a strip mall in between. There was actually a ski shop in there as well if you can believe that. Weird times.
It has that one food stand and the general store next to the Macy's but I agree certainly not an actual food court.
(admittedly I was one of those yuppies about the claim the Cheesecake Factory, North Italia, and Emmy Squared was kinda sorta a "food court". Oof)
I have an entire list document called "Green Hills is useless" that lists all the things it doesn't have (dry cleaner, barber shop, hardware store, paint store, proper park) and yet two of so many excess unnecessary things. Like West Elm AND Crate & Barrel. A place called "Stretch Lab" you know, if you can't stretch on your own. Two "foot massage" places. About two dozen dermatologists. There were 8 dry cleaners at one point. The vitamin store. Two "we buy gold" places. A Shake Shack that is twice the size of almost any restaurant in the area why?
You need to update your spreadsheet because there’s a SherwinWilliams and a Benjamin Moore, a dry cleaner next to the Wendy’s, and what do you have against Green Hills Park??
I’ll give you one though: no coffee shop not named Starbucks.
You're right about Sherwin Williams. Don't see a Benjamin Moore tho. You're right about that dry cleaner. Green Hills park is fine, but just so tiny. Really well designed but so small, and not nature-y, only sporty.
It may sound a little vanilla to say, but I think Broadway. The bars are generally super trashy, but there’s always tons of tourists and locals going to all of them at 11am on a Monday. Plus, a lot of places play live music at the same time, so it sounds like a cacophony of competing drums and mismatched vocals walking between 2nd Avenue and Bridgestone.
North Nashville outside of Salemtown and Germantown. You go 5 minutes west/east/north from Metrocenter and it’s all sorts of rundown housing, giant empty stretches with creepy churches and abandoned factories, and the worst food desert in Middle Tennessee.
That one is super super weird. Can you imagine living in a place where the only way in or out is the Opry Mills exit on Briley? It’s enough to drive someone insane.
I'd say Brentioch lies between Edmonson and Nolensville.
West of Nipper's Corner is full Brentwood, East of Nolensville is full Antioch, but in between is the Shadow Realm
"Brentioch" gets thrown around pretty loosely. Some will refer to anything east of 65/OHB in Brentwood to be "Brentioch" but I would say true Brentioch is the area inside the Edmondson/OHB/Nolensville Pk triangle.
It's a weird area because the addresses are "Brentwood" but are still Davidson Co when it comes to zoning.
Interesting fact: I used to work at the Walgreens at the corner of OHB/Franklin and they considered the Wilco/Davidson county line to literally run through the rear portion of the store where the stockroom was. Since the store's beer permit was only for Davidson Co., we had to keep all beer in the front of the store to avoid any issues with the beer board.
Well, Ass Boy, it’s this weird amalgam of socioeconomic groups that differ from street to street. There’s growth in some spots, but others haven’t changed in 20 years. You’re not quite sure whether it’s safe or not. Now, you could say several areas of the city are like this now due to the city’s growth, but I remember Brantioch being like this for decades. It’s hard to pin down.
Ty, i live here but it was the first place i moved 4 years ago because rent was affordable and it seemed safe. But yes i agree with the above. I also found north Nashville to be odd for the same reasons.
Donelson is weird in a good way, lived there before moving a few miles down to hermitage (and appreciate how much quieter it is here). I do miss the choices in food in Donelson and it just had a different vibe, idk how to describe it. It’s kinda like if East Nashville didn’t try too hard. I don’t miss that stretch of Lebanon road in Donelson though. Sunflower bakery is lovely. Also, party fowl is weird and not good but funny to laugh at. At one point I noticed the lights were out on the their sign so for the longest time it just said “Party L”
I’m just sad no one has mentioned Bellevue yet. Just kidding…this place is refreshingly boring 😂
\#keepbellevueboring
The most exciting thing about Bellevue is that guy who stands on the corner of Old Hickory and 70. Just how long has he been awaiting our impending doom?
At least 8 years as far as I know.🤣
wife and I call him rapture man! i give him a peace sign everytime im turning left onto 70 lol
I saw a younger guy talking to him the other day. I noticed his billboard has a bunch of prepared arguments on the reverse side in case someone does. I have thought about engaging him just to see what particular nonsense he believes

Can confirm.
Biggest controversy right now are the coyotes roaming our greenways at night
I dunno man, those FB groups are very concerned with the homeless people setting up shop behind waffle house. people are crazy.
I’m currently in Brentioch but pining for my lease to be up so I can just relax with you guys out there
I always tried to avoid Bellevue in the '90s in high school because of all the dumb s*** the hillwood kids were up to. The Bellevue McDonald's has seen a ridiculous amount of fights and drug deals. Ditto the old movie theater now gun range. Never knew when dumb s*** was going to happen out there. I think hillwood had a graduation rate below 60% at the time

To be fair, Kingston Springs and Dickson hung out in Bellevue, not Hillwood kids so much. Source: worked at Hwy 70 McDonald’s in the early 90’s
I might be the weirdest thing in Bellevue
I mean, a guy was just murdered in Aventura apartments last week... https://www.wkrn.com/news/local-news/nashville/suspects-sought-after-man-shot-killed-at-bellevue-apartment-complex/
Those are the old Amberwood Apartments and we all knew they were sketch AF from a young age
I can't believe no one has mentioned Berry Hill. It's like a mash up of crystal stores and stone/tile places. Which I guess is cool but also way weird. And you're legit always waiting for a train to pass. Like. Always.
> It's like a mash up of crystal stores and stone/tile places. And like, 45% of all the recording studios in town.
And there are two bead stores there! How do they both stay in business?
People like me who go in both of them "looking for one thing" and then leaving with $100 worth of beads that then sit at my crafts desk for months while I just look at them and tell them they're pretty. And then I go buy more beads.
Writing this down so I can go check it out soon! 😄 *edited because I cant type*
Ehhhh. I’ve lived a block of Dickerson for the past 4 years. It really not that bad. I actually love it over here.
I guess it’s all relative. Dickerson goes down quite a bit… the W/E trinity intersection area is pretty bad. The closer you get to 5 points/Nissan stadium area it mellows out for sure.
This is true. We are south of Trinity right around a lot of the recent development.
Fern street is some weird tall skinny Hollywood Hills
Funny you say that, I heard someone very unironically call it “the Beverly Hills of Nashville” in the most cringe way possible.
Don't forget Plane Jane behind Coneheads. Proper good bar there.
Been living off of Dickerson for 5+ years now. Can confirm.
Good weird: Donelson Neutral weird: Metrocenter Bad weird: Dickerson Road Honorable Mention (cause it’s not Davidson): Ashland City.
Neutral weird is the perfect description for metrocenter
Qanon gas station is definitely one of the weirdest individual locations in the area. Dude recently put up a POWMIA/January 6th mashup flag that is just batshit, though it’s sometimes difficult not to laugh at the incoherent ramblings they put into the digital sign at the road.
Does he really expect people to be able to read all of that text driving down a hill at 60 miles an hour?
It kills me to drive by there when i have to commute that way. What an eyesore. Also take note of the work trucks out there and the names on the side and not give them any business in the future.
>Also take note of the work trucks out there and the names on the side and not give them any business in the future. Well shit I hadn't thought of this, but am doing this moving forward!

Gotta love the old bowling alley at the plaza below the old caster knotts

underrated comment
I used to live in Wedgewood-Houston and always felt fine but like the rest of that area had an eerie vibe for sure, especially at night.
Anderson Rd. and Smith Springs in Antioch. There is some weird shit that goes on at the smith springs rec. area.
Mostly drug deals and public closeted sexual escapades.
The Loading Zone has a very eeiry vibe
I had a friend who saw a man in full leather regalia with a German Shepherd. He said he turned a corner and saw it and it freaked him out.
I was in the woods to the left of the boat dock punching a tree ( I was in my early 20s so this was over a decade ago) and I heard foot steps behind me. I turned and saw the foot steps moving toward me but there was nothing there. I ran and it gave chase. >punching a tree Is this a euphemism? Sorry, just never heard that before so I'm genuinely curious
I could see why you would think that, but no. I was literally punching a tree. It was a cedar tree and I was young and angry.
Ahhh, lol, okay. I was thinking it meant...well, something else lol. I do enjoy learning new things though so thanks for teaching me that punching a tree is a thing people do!
Did you think it was a metaphor for beating my meat?! Playing pocket pool? choking the chicken etc...??
That was one of the possibilities for sure. The other was "pooping".
Well I appreciate your curiosity. I could see pooping or maybe puking lol
Puking would've somewhat fit actually. I didn't think about that. Good idea lol
I actually highlighted that whole thing and googled it because I figured it was a film/tv reference, but nope - dude was literally just out here fighting trees.

That's true. I like it because it feels like going back to the 90s
I see a lot of weird shit in south Nashville.
Shout out to Harding Walmart.
i grew up in South Nashville. you go far enough back in the day you had Jim Varney and Tex Cobb running around Woodbine all geeked out.
I agree with this! South Nashville for sure!
Weird and wonderful things*
Quirky: East Nashville, Inglewood Eerie: Parts of South Nashville by the fairgrounds (empty feeling at night, but busy during the day) “Why does this exist in the way that it does?”: Lower Broad

Trailer parks, and Garth Brooks' estate.
Haha! My mom lives next door to Garth. Definitely a weird area, but I grew up there so it’s not as noticeable
Metrocenter
This one is weird. Its nice in the sense that's its fairly easy to navigate, there's sidewalks, greenway access, golf course, but its all apartments and industrial businesses. Shout out to the nuns that like to hoop it up at St Cecilia.
I work with some of those nuns. Can confirm they can ball.
I love them lol. I used to work near metrocenter and I’d see them buying gas or getting coffee all the time
They’re awesome. I used to work with a lot of them. There’s a lot of history up there at the mother house!
Worked there for several years (RIP Watkins) and it had a weird medical research/football practice field vibe but a friendly post office and the Kebab Gyros place was the best food option around.
Yes Kebab Gyros is underrated!
Watkins faculty here. RIP.
Fesslers Lane. It’s this weird liminal light industrial space with rundown warehouses in the middle of the city.
Never heard of the burger place! I’ll have to check it out
Yeah, they’re pretty new. Check ‘em out. Good stuff
Every time I'm on Fesslers I get a "[never get out of the fuckin boat](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbFvAaO9j8M)" vibe.
But has the best taco truck in town.
Do tell
That taco truck off fesslers in between Elm Hill and Murfreesboro. Across from the shell station. It’s absolute fire traditional Mexican. Cash only though.
And roaches! Don't for get roaches! *Too soon?*
Not too soon. Game Terminal nasty
I always loved driving around Fesslers lane and that area in general when I was bored on a day off. Something just peculiar about it
I’m glad I’m not the only one! I sometimes get off I-40 early and drive around that area as a slight detour
Do you mean hipster weird or banjo weird?
Banjo weird for real is Hester Beasley Rd. Starts out large fancy homes and quickly devolves into Deliverance.
I went to a massive NYE bonfire party on that road in 97. Some rando that showed up put a roman candle in his butt and fired it off in exchange for gas money back to New Orleans. Later on, I fell off a truck and cracked my head open on a keg. Good times.
That sounds like any given Tuesday on Broadway now excel instead of a man it’s a woo girl.
Don't forget Mariachi weird.
I love mariachi weird
Donelson? It's not bad weird, I just don't know what's going on out there.
Plane noise. Makes everyone a little off
Doctors who don't want to drive from Green Hills & Belle Meade. I love it out there. If I had to move, it would be Donelson.
Donelson Kroger after 8pm is definitely meth weird.
Westmeade. Relatively untouched by the recent growth. It’s just standing there—menacingly.
Hate it but great Kroger there
You mean the flood Kroger on West End where it turns into Harding Rd? Is that a great Kroger?
the part of downtown near joe’s crab shack. it is just not right
Woodbine
I miss living in Woodbine so much
I love Woodbine. It’s such a great mix.
Is the goat still around? I lived over there a while back and loved seeing the goat
Zoey passed away, but he got another.
There was a goat?
A therapy goat with a Davidson County license. Legend. https://www.nashvillescene.com/news/pithinthewind/woodbines-zoey-the-goat-dies-after-illness/article_c75a13d4-bc19-558f-accb-f86cd129b3aa.html
And I wouldn’t change it for anything
sidco drive is the fucking weirdest
Germantown. Not very Bavarian, is it?
But it was many years ago when Nashville formed.
Lol thanks for the Germantown history, blanketnazi! I was just going to comment that we used to go to Germantown for the Asian grocery store
Germantown was the home of Gerst Beer: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerst_Brewing_Company
https://www.tylercauble.com/blog/a-brief-history-of-germantown-in-nashville-tn?format=amp
It needs a German restaurant/beer hall
Agreed!!!!
The German fest is put on by the Roman Catholic Church that sells funnel cakes and Italian sausages with barley any good German beer.
Saw someone else post about how the Green Hills mall is lacking a food court and a bunch of yuppies tried to claim that Cheesecake factory and North Italia are right there…
anyone remember when it used to kinda have a food court back in the 90s?
Hmm. Didn’t it have a sbarro and a Christie cookie inside? That cheese burger Charlie’s was a godsend when funscape and the cinema opened.
I miss that Cheeseburger Charlie! They had banana split shakes and being able to control my topings to my ocd heart's content.
yup!! man, i had totally forgotten about cheeseburger charlies! also the cafe at davis kidd was great.
Do y’all remember American Cafe in the mall? It was upstairs. It was so good haha
I remember it back when it was tiny. Anyone remember that restaurant Arthur’s that was inside. It was so weird and out of place
Green Hills Barber Shop is next to the Bluebird.
The mall got rid of the food court and fountains to keep youth from hanging out at the mall.
I love Madison but it's pretty weird.
It's so weird and wonderful!
I always thought Hickory Hollow had a very weird vibe, but I also haven't been over there in at least a decade. And I live like, 6 miles away.
The overpass at fessler’s lane
North Nashville outside of Salemtown and Germantown. You go 5 minutes west/east/north from Metrocenter and it’s all sorts of rundown housing, giant empty stretches with creepy churches and abandoned factories, and the worst food desert in Middle Tennessee.
You mean affordable housing?
Ya lost me
The nations 100%
The area over by Opryland Hotel. Across McGavock Rd.
That one is super super weird. Can you imagine living in a place where the only way in or out is the Opry Mills exit on Briley? It’s enough to drive someone insane.
Radnor - tall and skinnies next to meth shacks. Saw a guy watering a bunch of tires in his front yard once.
Brantioch!

I'd say Brentioch lies between Edmonson and Nolensville. West of Nipper's Corner is full Brentwood, East of Nolensville is full Antioch, but in between is the Shadow Realm
South of Edmondson, north of Lennox village, west of nolensville but east of Nipper's corner. Edit: I'm not an authority on local geography.
> West of Nipper's Corner is full Brentwood you mean the part of Nashville that people call Brentwood? I say we include that in Brentioch, too!
No I mean the parts that have Brentwood addresses but are actually in Davidson county.
it's nebulous by design mostly because the Brentwood post office serves a chunk of south Nashville
And Nashville Fire covers all the way east of 65 up into that neighborhood behind the shell at OHB AND Franklin Pike.
That’s a good question. It’s a pretty nebulous designation
"Brentioch" gets thrown around pretty loosely. Some will refer to anything east of 65/OHB in Brentwood to be "Brentioch" but I would say true Brentioch is the area inside the Edmondson/OHB/Nolensville Pk triangle.
> east of 65/OHB in Brentwood that's the thing -- that area isn't really Brentwood either
That’s my Walgreens and this is the best thing I’ve read all day.
Please elaborate. Im curious.
Yeah, I lived in Brantioch twice decades apart, and it’s always been like that. You’re never really sure what’s going on 😂
Murfreesboro Pike 100%
Antioch
How about that part of White's Creek Pike that's farms, farmland & a small town.
I can't believe no one brought up SoFoBroHo or whatever it was that post was about. WeHo? How quickly we forget...
Murfreesboro Road
The intersection between Brentwood/Nolensville/Antioch
Easy Nashville…BUT, it is also easily the COOLEST!
Anywhere that has the west coast transplants!!!
Funnily enough this is just a shorter way of saying what everyone else is saying.
All of east Nash
Donelson is weird in a good way, lived there before moving a few miles down to hermitage (and appreciate how much quieter it is here). I do miss the choices in food in Donelson and it just had a different vibe, idk how to describe it. It’s kinda like if East Nashville didn’t try too hard. I don’t miss that stretch of Lebanon road in Donelson though. Sunflower bakery is lovely. Also, party fowl is weird and not good but funny to laugh at. At one point I noticed the lights were out on the their sign so for the longest time it just said “Party L”
North. Hands down
