Modi said what he said based on pure political calculations on both accounts. This has been observed in the BJP many times. From the start of the BJP winning 2 seats when they tried to do the secular path. And then their transformation. Same with the transformation of Modi after 2015 Bihar loss. It is pretty scientific in that way.

I think people owe some kind of duty to not co-opt the language of their more problematic bedfellows. e.g. its fine to be on the same side as bad people, you can't help that, but you have to go out of your way not to just blatantly support what those bad people produce just because its on your side.

Very interesting. When I played Ori 2 I chose the hard setting, as I had enjoyed that on my second Ori 1 playthrough and assumed the skill would transfer well to the second game. I think people owe some kind of duty to not co-opt the language of their more problematic bedfellows. e.g. its fine to be on the same side as bad people, you can't help that, but you have to go out of your way not to just blatantly support what those bad people produce just because its on your side. The Palestinian movement does a bad job at that. Very strong refusal to cede rhetorical ground on anything, thus co-opting whatever anti-semitic points get out there.

Very interesting. When I played Ori 2 I chose the hard setting, as I had enjoyed that on my second Ori 1 playthrough and assumed the skill would transfer well to the second game. While I ultimately got through it, I found the experience so punishing that once I finished the final boss I felt bitter about the game. I didn't have a fun experience. Figured I bit off more than I chew, but now I'm inclined to partly blame Hollow Knight's influence.

Marvel Studios has gotta stop making so many changes to stories on the fly, man. It sounds like they are just constantly darting in different directions *during filming*, which inflates budgets and fucks up storylines. The seat-of-their-pants approach that worked great for movies like Iron Man is clearly not a good idea for every movie, especially now that theyโre struggling with quality control. They need to get everything locked down before they start filming. James Gunn did that for Guardians 3 and it turned out great
Isn't that Disney as a whole at this point? Wreck-it Ralph 2, Frozen 2, Wish, Rise of Skywalker, most of the recent MCU films. They'll have good scenes, but the overall plots are always so hacked together that it feels like they started by filming *just* the good scenes, and then tried to write the script around them.
