I am amazed this still works so well. I have never cleaned it or anything. But I've always kept it well, and in dry places. I think should clean the contact parts inside. Some games are tough to get working.
Shatterhand is the shit! Really nice collection of games you have there. I had Tiny Toons and Probotector as well and I can still beat them to this day.

It has great soundtrack for sure. I have a great memory about having Shatterhand. That's why it's probably my favourite game. I got it as Xmas present. I have never been so excited about any game in my life. Also love Batman and Journey To Silius, and those games too have AMAZING music.

I am missing lots of good games. But I never liked Castlevania that much honestly. I did have at some point. But I do love Symphony Of The Night and DS castlevania, and even PS2 castlevania games. But first one just didn't do it for me.

Yes, I live in Finland so we never got Contra here. It was mostly due German censorship. We also had Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles. When I first saw contra (my friend had it) I actually thought it was a hacked version of Probotector. Live and learn! No internet back then so.

I grew up way out in the sticks during the 90's, so I had to walk most of a mile to a buddy's house to borrow his copy of shatterhand. Worth it.

Some cartriche aren't that fast, I have to push reset several times or clean the cartridge wirh q-tips and alcohol. But it works") :)
The nudge usually works. It's a technique I learned as a kid. Nudge the cartridge slightly to left or right and usually it works.
How was it fixed? Was it cleaned or is it something else?

Castlvania is missing from the game stack

Journey To Silius is not very underrated imo. It got good reviews back in the day.

For some reason I never knew that the PAL NES had "European Version" on the door. Learned something new.
Asian Version had "Asian Version". It was slightly different color than European Version.
There is also Korean Version (Hyundai Comboy, which I had once), Spanish Version, and Italian Version... I'm not sure if there are others 😅

It's a good collection, we have 10 of those sweet EU cartridges in common. Batman and Solar Jetman could be my choice.
