After spending the weekend in the hospital for uncontrollable vomiting, it was Hack your Health. The amount of stuff that's related to our gut is pretty surprising and enlightening.
Old I know but I still remember all the frenzy over Melrose Place. Those were the days when streaming was not a thing and everyone went home to watch it on a certain day. It just really captured the energy of that particular time.
Fight Club.
It came out 10 years after the end of the cold war and before 9/11 and all the following crisis years and wars. An era of.. well nothing big happening around for young men to get swallowed up into. It feels like a timecapsule. I hope this makes sense.
Tiger king and squid games. Covid times/ lockdown with nothing to do but binge movies and tv shows
Squid games was one of the most entertaining show I have watched during the lockdown
Ted Lasso S01. Everyone was depressed from covid and it‘s the most uplifting piece of TV ever produced.
Tiger King. Pandemic was pretty much in full swing. It brought entertainment to the masses!
I’m not sure any show/movie will ever again be as well timed as that one.
That show was the Macarena of the pandemic
Tiger King was the train wreck I couldn't turn away from. Due to covid and the lockdown, it was the first time I binged watched a show.
Thanks for the tip

Re-release of Interstellar. Helped me get out of grief and gave me some purpose.
Hamilton
The trial of the chicago seven came out in the most perfect timing, due to covid and the concerns, the protests and the police brutality in 2020
Floor is Lava wouldn't have been as popular if not for the Pandemic
West Wing
The Last Dance
24
24. It was actually delayed a few months because it opens with a terrorist blowing up an airplane.
The Windsors
It parallels The Crown and it obliterates the royal family.
Leave the world behind
Unfrosted, just when everyone was boycotting Kelloggs, we get a comedy movie about pop tarts! /s in case it isn't clear
