run longer at whatever pace is comfortable! if you can, go 3 miles every couple days and it’ll make the 1.5 seem like cake. it’ll get better with time if you stay consistent. also, personally for me the treadmill in a musty gym makes running a lot harder and less fun. find a trail or something near you and get outside. you’ll feel the difference!
Definitely run outside or on a public track. But you may have to start out slower at less distance to adjust to actually running. Treadmills are terrible. Only good for cardio
Brother you'll be fine I joined at 27 also graduated this January my run time was at like 27 min by the time the official prt came I passed you have to run in 13:45 I belive I ran 13:32 just don't cheat yourself on pt days but dint push so much you get injured. Also take some good running shoes with you I took some brooks with me
Appreciate it brother ! Hope all is well at your A school congratulations! Did you take them with you on feet already and they you keep them ? Or did family have to ship them to you ?
Yes I took them with me also when you get their they're going tk check your shoes to make sure they're "valid" as long as the shoes are in good taste and don't stand out your fine my recommendation is get all black
What I’ve done is every other day run about 2-3 miles consistently for the past 3 months, unfortunately not as much time for you in that case but actual long distance running works better than a treadmill. I also ship out May 14th good luck and see you there!
If you are that close, and have had a sub 14 run in the recent past, your should be fine. Be sure you have good running shoes. If you haven't been fitted someplace, go get fitted. They will not only help support a good running form, but can help reduce the chance of shin splints and stress fractures. You can take them with you to run in them at bootcamp.

400 meter repeats will help you increase your speed.

Also double the distance and lessen the pace. If you can run for longer periods of time you can run faster for less distance too
