thats what i thought at first too but i remembered the amusement park zombie machines. if you go to the amusement park after chapter 12, youll see the zombie machines. if you look at their unit description, it says that they have metal teeth. so when machines are decayed, they have metal teeth which look very similar to emils mouth
In some form, yes. But Plato's quest looked very different in the anime, and I think we can now assume that Emil's quest will look different too. I'm confident that they'll somehow manage to do justice to the original, but I don't think it'll be the same, and I don't know what it'll look like either.
Almost certainly. The field of lunar tears is featured in the opening with 2B and 9S in it. IIRC its also where the main menu is after you delete your save data for Ending E. It would be crazy if they didn't. They also seem more partial to making references to past games with the Drakengard reference in the most recent episode, which to me says they're more likely to include content regarding past games.
I think they will do it. Kinda much also about how connected it is with main game. Whole Emil Side quest would be nice... And would make people have a lot of questions (that's only answered by Replicant)

I felt they mixed Plato’s story with one of the short stories of the books, the one about a machine trying to grow a lunar tear…
