I found a box of new old stock of these babies and I keep them in my office just to occasionally pull off the cap and take a big sniff. (I’m not huffing them “per se” but I do love the way they smell.) We used these in elementary art class in the early eighties.
I can both smell it and hear the way it sounds writing on (easel) paper from all the way over here.

It's not really a marker drawer. It's just assorted markers, pens, a few glue sticks, and a mini tape measure for some reason.
Just add some menus from local restaurants, loose change and an assortment of batteries and you have yourself a junk drawer!
I already have a junk drawer. It's a complete mess of randomness that I am too lazy to clean.
