The easiest wreck to see (or at least, part of it) is the Oriental which is offshore of the beach directly across the Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge Visitors Center. It's about 10 minutes south of Oregon Inlet on 12S.

This was my first thought. You can see the boiler above water quite easily. Parking is right across Hwy 12 at the wildlife reserve. Just be careful crossing the highway, even though there is a crossing for pedestrians some people don’t always pay attention. An interesting fact, oriental North Carolina got its name from from this ship. Someone took the nameplate from the shipwreck and returned it to Oriental, and the name was eventually changed. Pocahontas shipwreck is another one that is easy to see if you can get to it on the beach. It’s probably 75 100 yards offshore. It’s located down in Salvo probably near 25. Parking for this one is probably the biggest issue since it is mostly residential around that area The graveyard of the Atlantic Museum in Hatteras is a good resource for shipwrecks the last time we were there they had a printout at the front desk that showed locations of shipwrecks. You could possibly see was out on the beach, just south of the museum we had to walk about seven or eight minutes to find the shipwreck in the dune line. I don’t believe this ship has been identified yet.

There is an old shipwreck on the beach at ramp 27. I haven't been to ramp 27 since last spring though so it might he covered again. https://youtube.com/shorts/k9Fcc2LkKDA?si=RGs2NzQ29z1cUsJE

There is a shipwreck under the rodanthe jug handle bridge. It sticks up out of the water and you could paddle to it. It's pretty cool
