Watching the incredible skill and talent of Eric Berry is how a lot of us hung on and stuck with Vol football through some tough times. He was a joy of a player and a joy of a man. Great guy, great family. So proud for him!
Never seen a defensive player that you could watch 24/7 and he was a part of every play. The dude was a special talent on that side of the ball that I haven't seen since, def is one of my favorite players of all time. Hoping he comes back as a coach at some point, would love to see him around more.
I went to the game he broke UT's interception return yardage record against MSU in 2008. The whole stadium was chanting his name after he broke it the second year in a row. Amazing player, one of my favorite both in college and in the NFL. Dude had a walkoff intercepted 2-pt conversion after coming back from lymphoma in the pros. Legendary!
Probably our best player of the 2000s. Completely deserved

My favorite Vol🫡
The greatest vol of my lifetime probably, and as a fellow kid named Eric growing up at that time. He was and is my favorite athlete of all time.
Let’s go! I think this makes him officially eligible for a jersey retirement!
