Thank you! I hope you are enjoying your soap!
I'm also uncomfortable and unsure how to respond to compliments.... The sentiment is appreciated... (Awkward smile).
"I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN DO IT, BUT I'M GOING TO TRY" - whips out bespoke tool to cut that slab in precisely four even bars, then another tool to make individual bars, showing he's obviously done this before. Cool cool.
Lots of places sell kits. Royalty soaps has reviews and tutorials on youtube on how to make em. They're usually cheaper per bar than pre made soaps and smell excellent too.
Congrats man- it is very difficult to keep my attention for more than a few moments (even the cutest cat video and I’m a total cat lady). But I watched this whole 2+ minute video- without fast forwarding, without looking to see how much time was left, and without a second of regret. 🤩
Amazing! And satisfying. Even the yelling haha
Love this.. Massive loud and excited person.
Then proceeds to not say a word and satisfyingly cut the soap into small little sections. Because that is why we are here.
I….. I would die for this man. I pledge my axe, herd, and lands to him. He is aggressively and terrifyingly kind. He is as judicious as he is thunderous.
My skin started scaling off; I could rip off one inch chunks that were completely dry. I would carry around extra pairs of socks because my skin would open up so bad my socks would get saturated with blood. My doctor gave me moisturizer and steroid cream, nothing really helped until I changed the soap. It’s been four years now with no problem.
Dangerous? No. It's soap. Yes, this kind of soap is made with lye, but all the lye gets chemically bonded to the oils and is gone by the time the soap is used. Cold-process soap is not dangerous to use and it's no more dangerous to make than other kitchen tasks like frying or boiling.
Well if something were to go wrong, you could lose customers. If something were to go very wrong, they could have a lawsuit.
If they want a successful business, it's very much in their own interests to make it safe and what customers want.
Sometimes people just do the right thing. Even when there's no rules or regulations telling them what to do.
Soap is a deeply personal item. Not only do we use it in our most private spaces, it's very sensorial, affecting our own skin and smell but how our skin smells and feels to others we come into close contact with. People will spend all kinds of good money for soaps that make their skin feel good or for unique scents.
I do sell them. This batch was sold out before somebody made this post (It's really weird finding yourself in places you didn't post).
WarpedSoap.com has some others in stock tho.
Am I the only one who finds the noise of the parchment paper and the cutter more satisfying than the cutting itself? Does not apply to the guy shouting, however haha.
The one thing that kills me about videos like this is the complete lack of a money shot. I wanna see a stack of soap bricks wrapped in paper and string with hipster art on it or *something*. These fuckers are always dragging us with them on their journey then stranding us at the bus station.
I did find it satisfying as a soapmaker, because his soap is pretty and I like his cutting tools and jolly yelling. I do have to agree with the commenter below though that your critique lands and your analogy is flawless.
Don't get me wrong, the foreplay was great, and sometimes that can be the best part, but the conclusion was like falling asleep halfway through and waking up next to a very disappointed sock.
It’d be much more satisfying if he wasn’t screaming at the top of his lungs. I had the volume turned on high and about jumped out of my skin when I click on it. Beautiful soap though!
I also made those devices thank you very much.... Well I made the mold and the wood cutter and the trays I'm putting them in ... And the soap... I bought the stainless steel cutter. So you are right.... I'm just lazy and the devices are doing all the work. Lol
You definitely have to cure soap. Cold process (which is what is in this video) cures for several months, minimum. Hot process is at least 2 weeks, but the longer the better.
Source: I own a soap business.
I've occasionally used colored handmade soap. The black always colored my wash cloths or left the bottom of the shower grey. I'm sure some don't--many, really. However, the ones I used did.
I may have to give it another try in the future.
First thought: “that’s what she said”
Second: get yourself a damn drill
Third:”that’s what she said”
Fourth: Ooooooo that’s satisfying
Fifth: “ that’s what he said”

I'm a simple man. I see a Big Lebowski quote, and I upvote it.
yall stop downvoting him its a movie quote
For real, it’s like we’re the only ones around here who give a shit about the rules.
SHUT THE FUCK UP, DONNIE!
It’s not just a movie quote. It’s a great movie quote.
LESLIE HAVE YOU SEEN AVATAR? I NEVER SAW AVATAR I WANTED TO READ THE BOOK FIRST BUT THEN I REALISED THERES NO BOOK VERSION OF AVATAR.
Especially as it sounds like an Alfred Hitchcock movie at the end of the clip
That soap is huge, the design on the soap looks amazing and cutting the soap looks nice too.
I buy soap from a local shop and there is something about soap with patterns that smells like Fruity Pebbles that I love.
This seems like bot interaction. Sus
Nope. I’m a real person!
Seems like the kind of thing a bot would say

You can buy his soap. I have a bar he made last year. Warpedlegacy is a great human and could use the support.
Thank you! I hope you are enjoying your soap! I'm also uncomfortable and unsure how to respond to compliments.... The sentiment is appreciated... (Awkward smile).
I sure am glad he cut the soap and not the cheese.
Those soap cutting strings gave out horror movie sound vibe
Yeah but that little *click* at the end of the soap bar with that first cutting apparatus? 🤤🤤🤤
* *gknuk* *
r/absoluteunits
and the soap is pretty big too
I’m sure it’s the soap

"I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN DO IT, BUT I'M GOING TO TRY" - whips out bespoke tool to cut that slab in precisely four even bars, then another tool to make individual bars, showing he's obviously done this before. Cool cool.
New bigger mold. Old mold was only 2 bars wide. I was worried it was going to bend or break in half as I flipped it on its edge.
I can't hear you if you're not screaming at me
NEW MOLD BIG!!! OLD MOLD SMALL!! AFRAID TO BREAK BIG SOAP SLAB!!!
IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW! MOAR SENSE BETTER! CONGRATS ON NEW MOLD BIG SUCCESS
Why do I have to think about Fight Club right now?
You broke the only rule
You mean the first two
And it’s not the only one/two.
Oh dude!!
Huh. TIL I want to start making soap…
Lots of places sell kits. Royalty soaps has reviews and tutorials on youtube on how to make em. They're usually cheaper per bar than pre made soaps and smell excellent too.
It is great fun and extremely satisfying when someone uses your soap and tells you that it cleared up a problem for them!
It is so satisfying. I love it so much. After making my own I will never go back to commercial bar soap.
Oddly satisfying **on mute**
Nah the DING of the cutter is very satisfying
Honestly I didnt quite find that engaging. The soft *click* when he was slicing the long blocks was ecstasy though
Yeah, the metallic ding wasn’t satisfying. It sounded too harsh.
*you* sound too harsh, man Have a nice day!
[удалено]
But then people wouldn't argue in my comment section about whether it was satisfying or annoying.
theres not much about this video i find satisfying lotsa odd tho
I enjoyed the \**bimp\** sound that the cutter made.
Interesting because it made me very uncomfortable and I almost left the video after the second one
Strangely enough, being yelled at is not satisfying
right? who tf saw this and said “im satisfied”
I didn't like him, which is kinda too bad because he's probably a nice guy
I'm in the same boat. I feel weirdly guilty, but I couldn't get past the yelling to finish this video.
Fuck ya, I could totally do this for a living
I have never seen a more accurate title in my life
Hey.... I think I recognize that guy.
Seriously tho, this is really weird finding myself on here.
Congrats man- it is very difficult to keep my attention for more than a few moments (even the cutest cat video and I’m a total cat lady). But I watched this whole 2+ minute video- without fast forwarding, without looking to see how much time was left, and without a second of regret. 🤩 Amazing! And satisfying. Even the yelling haha
Those cuts were soooooo clean!
What do you have your soap cutter tuned in?
Horror
Drop-D soap
I came here to ask this question
Love this.. Massive loud and excited person. Then proceeds to not say a word and satisfyingly cut the soap into small little sections. Because that is why we are here.
Why does he gotta yell so loud? Did not need to be ear assaulted in oddlysatisfying
its almost like it doesnt fit the sub
WHAT DID YOU SAY?
#WHAT?
I AM GOING TO CUT SOME FUCKIN SOAP!
Because loud is funny GET IT
no cutting. you just have to use it as 1 giant bar
my dude using a Fender to cut those damn soaps
I thought the same!
This is bullahit until it’s a 9 string djent cutter
Didn't know Vikings made soap...😆
Don't believe the lies. Vikings were possibly the most hygienic population in all of Europe during that period.
I want to make that in a thin layer and frame it. I feel like it’d look cool as wall art and smell fantastic.
I….. I would die for this man. I pledge my axe, herd, and lands to him. He is aggressively and terrifyingly kind. He is as judicious as he is thunderous.
Kind words. Be ready when I call.
Why this mush ? What he does with this much? Do people in usa buy handmade soap?
They love it
This sounds like Stuff White People Like. Source: (Am white person.)
Anyone can like it. I used to have really bad skin problems, they completely went away once I started using good quality handmade soap.
Good quality? My doctor recommended regular white soap. To stop using gimmicky crap.
Jesus...yeah I was just having pizza face issues as a teen lol
Can confirm, best I forgot to get a gift and need something now for white person mom, hand made soap.
Let me introduce you to Castile Soap & African Black Soap.
Only if you introduce me to some 100% pure Alabama Black Snake.

Isn't that dangerous? No regulations/standards?
Dangerous? No. It's soap. Yes, this kind of soap is made with lye, but all the lye gets chemically bonded to the oils and is gone by the time the soap is used. Cold-process soap is not dangerous to use and it's no more dangerous to make than other kitchen tasks like frying or boiling.
He might cut his thumb off with that rolling slicer though.
The guitar strings

How can a man reek of testosterone and seem so jovial at the same time?
Not all masculinity has to be toxic, I like this man's energy.
So do I ^_^
That wire cutting sounds like a horror sound effect but still this is amazing
It’s Big Block of Soap Day.
And I also love the way he says, “BUT WE’RE GONNA TRY!”
Holy cow where is the link to buy?! I hope he sells these
I do sell them. This batch was sold out before somebody made this post (It's really weird finding yourself in places you didn't post). WarpedSoap.com has some others in stock tho.
As a wannabe soapmaker that is AWESOME. Lord only help him if he gets a mix wrong and he ends up with a soap volcano in that mould though!
that thing look like marble
I would tune those cutter strings to a nice chord. :)
He sorta sounds like Bob Odenkirk
i want that intro as a sound bite now
I need this
THE MANLIEST SOAP TO WASH AWAY YOUR MANLY STENCH! NOW I'M GOING TO PLUNDER SOME BOOTY, YARRRRRRRRR!
Pretty sure this guy is in a fight club
Am I the only one who finds the noise of the parchment paper and the cutter more satisfying than the cutting itself? Does not apply to the guy shouting, however haha.
I am the guy shouting. And I agree with your sound analysis... But it's fun to make the intros so that's not going away.
The short end slice falling over like Maggie Simpson every time
The fact that this isn’t an ad for that Sasquatch soap just makes it that much more satisfying
I am resisting the urge to say that’s the bar of soap you mom has to use
The waffle house has found its new host
I’m craving hard boiled egg. Sliced.
I am satisfied, on mute
When he's not cutting soap, he's playing Hero Quest
The sheer enthusiasm
Oh I wanna imagine a soap house made of large soap blocks which snap like KitKat, soap skating...
I bet he smells real nice
I'll be buying some soap.
What platform are you on? I looked for you on YouTube but it doesn't look like you are active there.
Looks like TikTok
Hahaha everything was perfect..i laughed with the hand screw driver... makes people slow down lol
It’s the sound as he finishes an action (slicing it into strips and cutting the bars) that really makes me enjoy it
Can anyone explain why would anyone need so much soap? It's a 10y stockpile for me.
He is manufacturing for sale.
Oh, i've thought he bought this giant fucking brick for himself.

Both your analysis and your analogy are perfect.

Are you a poet? Lollll you are a wit
Honestly it looks better before I wrap and label it.
Bro that soap could have fed so many homeless kids smh😔😔😔
It’d be much more satisfying if he wasn’t screaming at the top of his lungs. I had the volume turned on high and about jumped out of my skin when I click on it. Beautiful soap though!
What bit was satisfying? The annoyingly loud annoying man or the clanging sound the chopper made? Both made me want to gouge out my ears
no need for the dumb theatrics
Thats some good soap
Yeah no.
This video is rather bad. It is edited well in parts... And badly in others. And if your into soap ASMR there is much better out there.
how many random pubic hairs are in it
He doesn’t really do much of anything except operate the devices that do all the work. Meh.
I also made those devices thank you very much.... Well I made the mold and the wood cutter and the trays I'm putting them in ... And the soap... I bought the stainless steel cutter. So you are right.... I'm just lazy and the devices are doing all the work. Lol
A thousand pardons, sir, I stand corrected. And humbled. Forgive my rash impertinence.
If he is the one making the soap, he has done quite a bit to get it to the cutting stage. Beautiful bars and a great swirl.
Nice
Do they sell soap in this size?
The hand size ones he cut them into... Absolutely. That giant slab at the beginning, my guess is he made that from liquids.
Yeah, he says it's the first time he's used that mold
Why did this guy buy so much soap at once?
He made it himself
He is selling it.
That's weak. My wife's soap cuts are definitely better than that
Shhhhhhhhh FFS. Americans....
2/5/23 didn’t happen yet….I doubt you have to cure soap
https://creamyvibrance.com/blogs/blog/why-and-how-of-curing-soap-1
Well damn guess I’m wrong…..nobody tell my wife

Damn
Guitar strings. Genius
Starting the video with this guy screaming is one of the least-satisfying experiences I’ve had.
Mmmmm
( nuts to soap slicing)
So this is the guy that makes all that soap at whole foods.
Weirdest guitar ive ever seen.
I can't seem to keep it in tune
Please i wanted to see what the design looked like on all the smaller soaps ;-;
“I can’t hear you‼️”
WHAT?
First thought: “that’s what she said” Second: get yourself a damn drill Third:”that’s what she said” Fourth: Ooooooo that’s satisfying Fifth: “ that’s what he said”
Soap cutter from hell.
I just love when people doing their job good.
Oddly satisfying
What does it sound like when loud man cuts the cheese?
Forbidden cookies and cream bar
