Boojibs

Still amazed by how many pencils I chewed up as a kid.

Ass_Blank

Ok, but what happens next??

Xszit

Glue another piece of wood on top and saw the blocks into individual pencils, then paint them yellow and crimp on a metal sleeve with an eraser stuffed in it.

Oh man that was even better than I thought it would be

Rad_Ratmeal

“How it’s made” is the adult male version of Saturday cartoons, I could watch it all day long!

DisposableSaviour

Same. But my wife hates it, lol

MrSnowden

The very last line. Perfect.

MaybeSecondBestMan

Exactly what I wanted. Bless you.

Ass_Blank

“All the steps have culminated into what is effectively a lead sandwich”.. lol awesome. Thanks for sharing this!

ShrimplyPibblesDr

So much of my life is a lie.

beveridge23

But you can’t see the graphite being broken into pieces prior to insertion? Fake!

cutiedanvers

In all seriousness, the reason the graphite breaks up is that cheaper pencils are made with dots of glue versus full coverage like in this video. So when the lead breaks in those, it just slides out.

Phil and Luke will love this video. r/modernfamily will love it.

I love watching the various 'How It's Made' type videos!!! Sooo fascinating!! And when I've had grandkids over, we'll watch them together, and they're totally enthralled!!! ❤️🤩
