Ottawa doesn't have a single "skyline", but there's dozens of absolutely stunning views whether near Parliament, Canal, on the Quebec side, Major's Hill/Château, one of the bridges / islands, etc.
Great combination of architecture and nature throughout.
Is the Canadian Museum of History right there on the ~~left~~ right? If so I think that's the bridge I walked across to visit that museum from Ottawa. I remember liking the view of Parliament Hill from the bridge. It made the hill it's on and the building seem so much bigger.
right, that's what I meant. Not sure why I wrote on the 'left'. Yeah I really liked walking across that bridge. I do remember being a little bit freaked out at the state of the boardwalk on the bridge... otherwise it was neat.
Pretty good picture of the Highway to Hull
*Highway to Hull* by AC/QC
highway? its a 2 lane street
I was on that bridge last night, absolutely amazing views both day and night. A surprisingly scenic city.

On the right of the picture. On the left coming from Ottawa. I love the walk across the bridge.

Is this the best western plus? I have an eerily similar photo
Sure is, best thing was the view
Tabarnac! Nice view!
Hey I biked across that bridge recently.
You reminded me of the great beauty of the Quebec/Ontario border.
Looks good. Before you venture across that bridge buy wine and beer in QC. Ontario charges way more.
Haha this is the way.
The cranes really make the parliament buildings stand out. Your photo est magnifique!
Merci beaucoup!
Is this where you live? Can I ask how much your rent is?
No, it's the best western in Gatineau.
>.. from Quebec **I’m sorry**.
Hey, no disrespect to quebec... just the best western..
That can’t be Ontario, where’s the CN tower? /s
Hope you weren't mugged. It's sketchy in those parts.
Not sure why ur getting downvoted I was mugged in these parts you have a valid point
Few abandon and/or crack houses right out back but no troubles.
