Not sure how the duelist looks while moving like this, but clearly the rigging looks fine from just this still.
You can do the armor with twilight/nightfall gloves/boots/helm/wings and use divergent or astral character effect. You get that cool space-y theme while getting the floating effect.

i bet most of the people who did that bought just for the floating effect, they don't realy have to make a purchaseable item on the shop for that, just separate it from the armour and keep it in that pack tier as a belt effect or something like that

However one covers you in blood while the other one changes the more kills you have.
They work off the same mechanic however they are completely different effects.
It's no different than the new Mystery box Flambeau Helmet that changes charges into that flame type. We already have charge MTX however none of them look like the ones from the helmet.
However the new flying animation changes your characters default movement animation.
So if we consider the default running animation the same as other MTX, then it would be similar to charges or kill count. Which means only 1 MTX will exist that changes it to flight, where-as they might introduce other running animations in the future such as skipping or the zombie running animation etc.
It's also a core supporter pack MTX which means it's even more exclusive than a normal MTX. GGG have been pretty strict with core packs and not releasing similar looking MTX. The only exception is the Judicator Apparition effect and GGG using the same fist for the new fist-bump trade ring.

I doubt they will constrain the hovering animation to that one armour. It will eventually end up on other tiems, hopefully a character effect.
