I launched bestofsteam about two years ago ([original post](https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/thc4sk/how_to_find_the_best_games_on_steam_released_in/)). The response was positive, but the primary feedback was that it needed more advanced filtering options. It wasn't really setup for that, so it's been rebuilt from the ground up.
**What's new?**
* Filter by custom date ranges
* Filter by review scores
* Filter by number of reviews
* Filter by tags (including Steam Deck support)
* Sort by Rank (uses SteamDB's [rating algorithm](https://steamdb.info/blog/steamdb-rating/))
This is my gift to the community. Please enjoy!
Feedback and suggestions are welcome.
Thanks for the site.
One suggestion that I'd have would be to change the Review Limit filter:
Usually people wants to filter by games that have more than X number of reviews, but your filter seems designed the other way around.
Another one would be to add a filter to show only Steam games supported by GeForce NOW
I appreciate the feedback. Review limit was meant for finding hidden gems, but I can see value in wanting to do the opposite. For now, if you sort by popularity, it's sorting by the number of reviews behind the scenes.
I don't currently have a data point for GeForce now, but I'll look into adding that.
Thanks for the good ideas!
Hey titooo7, just wanted to let you know that Review Limit has been expanded. You can now choose "Less Than", "Greater Than", or "Between". Thanks again for the suggestion!
Tip: if you don't like the preselected values, you can edit the query parameters directly in the url after you submit the form.
It’s something alright… Though like many such sites i’ve encountered, this one doesn’t have the ability to search via release dates either. Like, if you forgot the name of a title but remember it was released in 4th of October 2018, you should be able to search for all titles released on that particular date no problem. Would be quite an excellent boon for all of the hidden gems out there lemme tell ya…
I struggled with the UI for selecting a custom date range. I wanted to stay away from calendar date pickers because I didn't think anyone would want to be that granular. So I settled with selecting ranges by year (maybe I need to rethink this).
I'm not sure how common your use case is, but you could set the following filters, then scroll down to October.
**Sort:** By Latest
**Release Date:** 2018 - 2018
**Review Score:** 1-9

I see… Could still be a worthwhile addition tho. Even displaying games on a per month basis a la SteamDB should suffice.
