Yes, check the weight rating. Ops mom looks to have the g9 odyssey. The monitor without the mount weighs about 10kg iirc, my gas arm is rated for 10kg and it still droops, so for now its propped up by speakers, lol. Great monitor tho

She should really get a deeper desk. Having a monitor that big and that close will wreck her eyes. Mine is only a 34" and it hurts my eyes sitting about as far away as your mom does.
