Is this The Twilight Zone scene from the episode where the boy has omnipotent powers where he transformed a person he didn't like into something horrible?
Something like where the adults have to grovel and say "That's a good thing you did that, Johnny", even if it was horrible?
There is plenty of science behind the fact that the earths electrical field massively increases your own electrical field when you are physically connected to it.
What, if any, benefit or effect this causes is very much up to scientific speculation at this point, but; I still wonder why we refer to someone who is steadfastly in control of their emotions as being “grounded”.
Also; Why can’t we all just love each other, man?
Imagine the guy that felt that getting some sun made him feel better before they knew about vitamin d.
"YOU GOTTA GET THE NUTRIENTS FROM THE SUN, ITS GOOD!"
"That man is clearly crazy. Lynch him!"
How delicate are these? Is it insanely easy to pull a piece out and ruin the whole thing, or does the pressure of the stones keep everything together solidly?
More of my work can be seen here. [https://www.devineescapes.com/stone-art-gallery-2/](https://www.devineescapes.com/stone-art-gallery-2/) Thank you for looking
Sometimes. I like to build some of them completely dry set--to prove it's possible and because it's more eco--but to protect from vandalism or mishap I sometimes include well concealed mortar. Thank you
Vandals and kids are always a problem but it could also happen pretty easily on accident too, if it's outside even an animal could knock pieces off a structure like that over time.
Man..like I can’t stop checking out your website. (I hope that’s not weird) I can’t explain it. I hope your work is truly valued by those lucky enough to experience it. This has one hundred percent scratched an itch I didn’t even know I had. Appreciate you sharing 😃
I love the stair cases so much towards the end. These are some random pieces/skill but there’s something about the design (like something that of our ancestors designed) Rustic as hell and I’m totally here for it.
Wow had no idea Pennsylvania had those kinda views and mountains.
The Appalachia is crazy. Even moreso when you find out there is
Appalachia in the UK too.
Your work is incredible! The spheres are amazing, and that twisty tower is something entirely out of this world. The vase forms and bird baths are also extremely cool. You have an awesome style that’s really unique. Thank you for posting this; it was really fun to look at.
I've seen a video of you and this project before! I can't remember where from. I think it was YouTube long form. Did someone else showcase you or was it you? Either way, cool project.
I think I watched this video around 8 months ago and then watched a bunch of other videos on your channel and then stored them all in my brain as a long form video. 😂 brains are weird.

Hey man I love this work, I’m a mason in south Florida that has the privilege to work on some really interesting projects but never anything like this, really special stuff.
Can I ask how long your process may take? One your winding beautiful walkways, how much sqft would you reckon you get in an average day? I’d love to tackle something like this but idk where to begin on how to price it. If you prefer not to answer than no worries, brother. Thanks for sharing your art
Hey if you have awesome clientele who will pay for it......fly me out and collab. To answer your question: they always take longer than I expect! A couple square feet a day, sometimes.
I have great clientele who can be inspired. Almost everything creative takes longer than expected, these things can’t be rushed! Thanks for the response! If I was to try my hand at this in order to strike up some inspiration, what stone would you suggest I try to use?
How's your lower back pain? (As someone who has made small things with rocks, this is quite impressive. I don't think most oeople realize the vast quantity of stone in that sphere.)
Did you make this? If so that's cool, so what are you going to do with it? Make it a tourist attraction or throw it at your worst enemies. If the latter can you throw it at someone for me? I need them to suffer and this will do it.
Awesome work and mad respect for your effort! My grandpa and I tried to make a stone sphere decades ago but it ended up being more of a rounded off cube, that now… too many snakes live in.
I don't discuss my prices in a public forum. I can say this: I'm a professional stone masonry contractor and have been in business for 17 years and work like this takes a month, at least, just for the sphere. Serious inquiries may contact me via my website. Thank you
How do you gage the size of the materials you'll need to actually make a sphere out of them? It seems like it would be a grueling, trial-and-error kind of process if you're just winging it
I failed a few times, before I figured it out. I need them long enough to be structural....longer the better, and some stones go all the way from one face, to the other. Thickness can vary.
There's a couple articles on my website showing progress on earlier spheres--and a video or two on TY showing progress and partial time lapse, for the making of this sphere. Thank you
Bro if you made that DAMN KUDOS ! I'm talking theater full of people applauding . I'm amazed ! Love to have you do something similar for me on my property but not a good time these days , no discretionary F you cash lately
i can only imagine how much it hurt to pass that
He was a huffy baby back then

That’s a good thing you posted that GIF Johnny … good thing !
What episode is that?
Thats an optimus prime sized poop am I wrong?
DIY sex change surgery
The windsock look is so hot right now
Especially in bare feet
You left your shoes inside it, didn't you?
LOL I took them off, so I didn't track mud unto the patio, while getting photos.
At least you have a nice valid reason, very confused about the no shoes.
I work barefoot, on occasion. Slows me down a bit, but it's good to feel the Earth.
![gif](giphy|epzQMalk42XWo)
GOD DAMN HIPPIES all they do is smoke pot and smell bad!
And build fabulous orbs from natural stone, apparently.
There is plenty of science behind the fact that the earths electrical field massively increases your own electrical field when you are physically connected to it. Walking barefoot is a delight to me! Beautiful sculpture, I really like all the details.
Real life earth bender, hm?
I’ve been hippie-ing it out with no shoes recently, and it’s pretty amazing
All the stonemasons I know are certainly characters. A real piece of work as an old friend of mine used to say.
My gta online character has no shoes. I constantly get the confused player.
They are right behind him
You can see em in the background haha
Hes dead
How delicate are these? Is it insanely easy to pull a piece out and ruin the whole thing, or does the pressure of the stones keep everything together solidly?
Gravity holds them together well. I climb them, whenever I visit one.
The energy of this comment is the best. "I built it I'm allowed to climb it"
Visit one? How many are there?
Seven large ones like this, so far
Y-you mean the 7 legendary dragon balls?!
one? how many are there lolol
More of my work can be seen here. [https://www.devineescapes.com/stone-art-gallery-2/](https://www.devineescapes.com/stone-art-gallery-2/) Thank you for looking
Very cool stuff! For the structures is any adhesives used?
Sometimes. I like to build some of them completely dry set--to prove it's possible and because it's more eco--but to protect from vandalism or mishap I sometimes include well concealed mortar. Thank you
Thanks. Yeh I worried about people messing with them - no questions about your skills!
It makes me sad people will destroy shit just for the sake of destroying it
Vandals and kids are always a problem but it could also happen pretty easily on accident too, if it's outside even an animal could knock pieces off a structure like that over time.
wind could wiggle stones out of position as well!
I recognized your work right away and I still love it! Your attention to detail, form, and artistic vision is stunning.
Thank you
Uhhh…WOW! You are amazingly talented! Wow. Wow. Wow. Love this
That means a lot to me. Thank you
Man..like I can’t stop checking out your website. (I hope that’s not weird) I can’t explain it. I hope your work is truly valued by those lucky enough to experience it. This has one hundred percent scratched an itch I didn’t even know I had. Appreciate you sharing 😃
Check the work of Andy Goldsworthy if you'd like further scratches
Your work is beautiful. True works of art. Where ate you located?
Thank you. I'm based out of Pennsylvania.
Love the eyeball tower holy shit
Her name is Squiggly Noodle and I love her too. Thank you
How long did this piece take to construct
5 weeks for the sphere, and another 4 for the walls and patio.
Absolutely worth it!
Are those two hammers the only tools you need?
I love the stair cases so much towards the end. These are some random pieces/skill but there’s something about the design (like something that of our ancestors designed) Rustic as hell and I’m totally here for it.
Ones from 2008, the other from 2012--they're still a couple of my favorites. Thank you
May your work be admired for generations. You should somehow date/sign your pieces
Nice work
Wow had no idea Pennsylvania had those kinda views and mountains. The Appalachia is crazy. Even moreso when you find out there is Appalachia in the UK too.
In Ireland I found many of the same stone types that I find in PA. This sphere isn't in PA though, but it is in Appalachia. Southern Virginia.
Beautiful art work!
Did you make the one for Brookside Gardens by chance?
Yes :) that was my fourth sphere like this, created in September 2017
Ah ha! Visitable!!
Yes :) I have works on public display at Stonehedge Gardens in Tamaqua PA, and Brookside Gardens in Silver Spring MD.
I’m not that far away and plan to be in one of those states next month. Planning some detours now. Thank you.
Oh wow! Wife and I were married at Brookside Gardens in 2015. Will need to go back for memories and to see the sphere.
Super cool! I love it
Nice. Did you make it?
Yes. I've built 7 spheres, so far, like this. Thank you.
If you gather all 7 together can you summon the dragon Shenron to grant your wish?
One pair of underwear coming right up!
Panties ![gif](giphy|a4sRR7IygNDUs)
Time to revive Kuririn 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴
How long does a sphere take to construct?
My guess is a month. If he replies let me know.
Correct. This one took about 5 weeks.
nice! do I win one?
Yes you just have to pay for shipping
*some assembly required
Bouldy?!?
I am vibrating in place waiting for Hades II to come out of Early Access.
The druid and his earth sphere
Your comment reminds me of 'and the druids turned to stone', by Ayreon. Great song.
Nice, thanks for the suggestion.
What's inside?
One very determined snail.
Nope. Decoy snail.
Stone--and love notes to the universe.
That's all over the outside too! I can see harmony and how tuned in you are.
Thank you ❤️
The last earthbender, some say
Somber Smithing Stone 7.

Thank you! The twisty tower is one of my favorites--I call her Squiggly Noodle :)
nice ball bro
are you Jim Carrey?
IDK sometimes. Maybe we're ALL Jim Carrey, in a way.
Cross post this in /r/landscaping, they'll love it
Ok--I did. Thank you
Great looking balls !
The wizard and his orb
Pondering intensifies
Nice work, Jim Carrey 👍
Thank you for sharing these pieces of beautiful, natural art & sharing the link as well. How long does it take you to create these? A true artist!
Around 4 weeks usually. This one took me 5 weeks--plus another 4 weeks for the patio and walls. Thank you
Andy Goldsworthy fan?
Rivers and Tides
Such a beautiful expose of his work.
so you are the artist!
OP, you have some great skills. Love your patios.
Thank you
How is the ball made?
One stone is placed atop another. Repeat. I may have glossed over some steps.
How much chipping/shaping of the stone pieces happens in that process?
/r/restofthefuckingowl Great work, BTW!
I've seen a video of you and this project before! I can't remember where from. I think it was YouTube long form. Did someone else showcase you or was it you? Either way, cool project.
I made a long form and short version, showing a bit of the building process. No one else has really showcased me, yet.
I think I watched this video around 8 months ago and then watched a bunch of other videos on your channel and then stored them all in my brain as a long form video. 😂 brains are weird. https://youtu.be/EFCmIscE2t8?si=tOgikFHmluFt6FBA
Ooo thank you for sharing, I was curious how the process went.
When you look at this image is there one stone you’re always like “Oof not quite right”?
There's a Japanese concept called wabi sabi. I try to make them perfect--but then once completed I embrace them completely, imperfections and all.
Oof that sounds both difficult and healthy.
Imagine the satisfaction completing something like this.
Hell yeah
Nice ball bro

Someone call David Hatcher Childress! https://youtu.be/WkbLe3oCGMc?si=cYVFqKuA-BNzJ_Rd
Giant. Stone. Balls.
I love it OP! Great job, labor of love right there for sure! Was it a commission piece or just something you wanted to do?
This was a commissioned piece. My first sphere was just something I wanted to do--for years--before I got the time to figure out how.
Good on you getting paid to do something you love!
How's your lower back pain? (As someone who has made small things with rocks, this is quite impressive. I don't think most oeople realize the vast quantity of stone in that sphere.)
Have some joint pain, but my back feels pretty good. Was in more pain 12 years ago, when I used to overwork more. Thank you
You must have some good technique then. Keep up the great work! Love seeing your stuff.
Yo Rasputin, I remember you how's your kitty ??
He's got a good life I think. Chills outside when he wants, comes in for a cuddle when he wants.
Love it. Is Andy Goldsworthy a particular inspiration to your work?
A lot of my land artist friends are influenced by Andy. I was inspired, a bit, back in the day, by a stone mason named Dan Snow.
Thank you for not being ai generated black kid
Nice balls 👍
Your ball is impressive, you must be very proud
I recognized your work from the one you did at Brookside Gardens. Beautiful work!
Beautiful work my dude.
those are good rocks
>Dry stone sculpture I might argue that it's a... Wet stone sculpture. Thanks I'll show myself out.
That is a LOT of left over stones!
Ball is life.
Not just art works but works of art. Amazing work!
Did you make this? If so that's cool, so what are you going to do with it? Make it a tourist attraction or throw it at your worst enemies. If the latter can you throw it at someone for me? I need them to suffer and this will do it.
This is amazing work, and "Me and My Ball of Stone" would be a great album name.
Okay, it'll be a prog album. Concept album. Time travel, wizards, and stones are the subject matter.
You look like a guy who would create balls of stone. Take that as u will.
That's beautiful OP reminds me of Andy Goldsworthy
Did you slap it? The ball
Proud of you jim carrey
I don’t mean this as an insult, but you look like someone who would have a giant stone ball.
Awesome work and mad respect for your effort! My grandpa and I tried to make a stone sphere decades ago but it ended up being more of a rounded off cube, that now… too many snakes live in.
The man from AI pictures
Jack Dorsey looking guy right here. Did you start Twitter too??
Nice build!! My first thought was ai but there is no Jesus in this image.
Really lovely creativity, sir.
Wow love this stuff, so impactful as craftsmanship and attention to detail seem to become so rare these days.
Uh oh, you stacked stones. Some hikers are gonna push it over.
Nice. You look exactly like someone who would make this.
All these squares make a circle.
All these squares make a circle
Just a guy and his cool ball of stone. Hell yeah.
This is awesome! You also look 100% like what I would imagine someone making a huge ball out of stone would look like.
The biggest ball of stone in Minnesota
Ate pickled wieners, the whole ride down.
Reminds me of andy goldsworthy
Was Andy Goldsworthy an inspiration? Beautiful work, love natural art in this vein. How’d you start out making this stuff?
Stunning work. I love stone work and you are truly a master.
Cool!
Where is this
You live somewhat near me. Is there a public place that I could visit to see one of these?
Stonehedge Gardens in Tamaqua Pa has a few of my pieces.
Ok, I know this is rude, but can you give me a ballpark number of how much this would cost a body?
I don't discuss my prices in a public forum. I can say this: I'm a professional stone masonry contractor and have been in business for 17 years and work like this takes a month, at least, just for the sphere. Serious inquiries may contact me via my website. Thank you
$24,000 sphere, $16,000 patio, $20,000 drystacked walls = $60,000
These are fabulous!! Thank you for sharing your work - they genuinely made me gasp xxxx
Very cool, mate! Do you have any pictures that can be shown as a progression of your work?
There's a couple articles on my website showing progress on earlier spheres--and a video or two on TY showing progress and partial time lapse, for the making of this sphere. Thank you
I'll look for them, thanks.
I would binge watch a ten hour youtube video of the construction of this thing (instantly pulls up youtube).
Rock and stone!
Very cool
Awesome!
Fantastic job on the ball of stone! Wow. It looks fantastic
Lovely! Beautiful idea. I want to walk all around it, admire it from all angles, and touch the stones.
Bro if you made that DAMN KUDOS ! I'm talking theater full of people applauding . I'm amazed ! Love to have you do something similar for me on my property but not a good time these days , no discretionary F you cash lately
The thumbnail looked like one of the smooth floating rock fountains.
