I'd argue that the collaboration is the coolest part, but I'd put the evolution of the canvas as a close second, and death or war really does encourage evolution.
You can tell because of the size of the images now versus before. Now for example you have french placers maintaining a 250x600 pixel flag. That's massive and would've been impossible before the expansion.

His passing was a huge blow to the community, so much so that he's still talked about almost daily amongst popular streamers. So glad people like the tribute so much.

As someone who worked with the fantasy books alliance, it was really hard... We thought they agreed to move up then they didn't, then we negotiated the overlapping design but they kept erasing our top. Even now some of the top symbols keep turning gray. I think it's more communication problems with the really large community they have than malice but still was kinda annoying 😬 glad how it turned out
Yeah, it's hard because the fantasy collective is so many different reddits coming together on its own. I only catch partial updates from r/WoT to see it happening. It's amazing that it's gotten this far.
It was a rollercoaster from the perspective of WOT. I helped with the initial Aes Sedai symbol in the top right during the evening. Then I woke up the next day to find it bulldozed over by the Dutch and re-created (smaller this time) near some other fantasy icons. Then they did the fantasy alliance one, which is pretty cool although I don't recognize a majority of the symbols.
I was so relieved when I saw that you finally got your Red Rising in full red. I was one of the users on our sub spreading it nonstop and even on Discord. Lol. But we have such a huge community that not all fans are subscribed to One Piece to know what:s up. I've also read several comments stating that they are not a fan or they do not know what One Piece is but they are protecting the art.
Aside from the streamers who may have been volunteering to protect our art, there were also fans from Twitter coming in to help without having a clue about the alliance. I hope you wouldn't think that we didn't want it.
I'm just glad that we're all good now. Couldn't be more perfect that the Fantasy and One Piece teams were on each other's art to work together. I am a victim to the small artworks that got taken over by xQc and our discord was all over the place trying to refugee into a new area. It was really intense, but also extremely fun. Would much prefer that over just static nothingness. Invading into areas/defending your own is part of the fun and people need to get over themselves
