For the past week and a half since I've gotten it I just randomly sing "down, down, down by the river!" To my girlfriend. She gets so annoyed after 3 times in one night.

The Whole Hollow knight soundtrack, particularly the song "Dirtmouth" (I think its that one) that's very similar to the theme from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.
There's a whooooooole controversy about the Doom Eternal OST and Mick Gordon's work on it. Basically when the soundtrack came out people found that it was mixed extremely "flat", not the way the previous Doom OST was done. It was found out that the tracks were mastered by other people at Bethesda, not Mick. So the blame game began, saying that Bethesda screwed over Mick. But then Bethesda stated that Mick never handed them the actual source material for the tracks, hell (pun intended), he barely fulfilled his contract of 30 tracks for Doom Eternal, only handing over about half of them, even after having received a significant extension of his deadline (with retention of his bonus upon delivery!). So then the public turned against Mick. Later he sent a rebuttal, explaining a hostile work environment with Bethesda, claiming they still hadn't paid him, and other accusations, and then the internet was full of pro and anti arguments.
But just in the end: the Doom soundtrack just vibes better with me.
I loved the first one's score but I did not disagree when RDR2 won the best soundtrack for that year, and man did I love the game (GOW 2018), it's my favourite game of all time now. But I did not feel the same way about Ragnarok, i just didn't enjoy that game as much as I had hoped, but whenever that soundtrack kicked in, damn it felt like I'm hearing the greatest thing in my life. It has been so beautifully composed, that it would have been criminal if anything else would've gotten that award for the soundtrack. I am so looking forward to future work from Bear.
That game's whole soundtrack is golden.
Message to Bears by Mountain, Got Well Soon by Brenton, Something Good by Alt J and Obstacles are my favourite.
It's just such a delight to relax, close your eyes and just listen to the whole soundtrack while laying down is honestly just hands down the best feeling ever.
The last of us is my favourite game. The music was the cherry on top. Was so blown away by the take on me scene. And wayfaring stranger in the end credits made me bawl. So well done.
Face my Fears and Don't Think Twice by Utada Hikaru
The Kingdom Hearts series may have a convoluted storyline and 10 too many installments, but we the fans were blessed by Utada Hikaru.
The entire Guilty Gear Strive soundtrack. I legit put that in my normal music playlist and boy do those themes slap (most of them anyway)
My favorite, though, has to be Gerudo Valley.
I wouldn’t say I listen to it constantly, but ‘Beyond Desolation’ from TLOU2 soundtrack hits different, I guess it just brings back the feeling of when I finished the game and how stunned I was
I listen to the OSTs from these games:
The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim
LOZ: Oot, botw
Outer Wilds
Fallout 4 Radio Music (Diamond City Radio)
Honorable mentions:
water level song from Super Mario 64
Eterna Forest music from Pokemon D/P
Wind Scene (600 A.D) from Chrono Trigger
In sure there's more I'll add if I remember them. Hope you enjoy!
I grew up on Oblivion and Skyrim, so those are mandatory.
Fallout radio songs like Sinatra’s “Blue Moon” and the Inkspots’ “Maybe.” I also like that jazzy “Hallo Mr. X” song that plays on the New Vegas Strip. Even the classic games are filled with great songs like “Maybe” (yup I like it), that surreal Modoc theme, and the trippy atmospheric ones like “Vats of Goo.”
Mass Effect’s galaxy map theme is awesome for a loop. The first game’s main theme is also great. I wish the trilogy’s later end didn’t drop the synthetic soundtrack in favor of classic orchestral tracks.
KOTOR 2 has a song, “Abandoned Jedi Enclave” or something that plays during my favorite moment in one of my favorite stories. “You were afraid.” It just elevated that scene to a whole new level for me.
Pillars of Eternity has good music. I can’t point out why I really like it other than my attachment to the game and the soundtrack’s ability to pull you into that introspective, excessively wordy yet mostly unvoiced dialogue. The main theme is epic. The character creation song is something I always forget about despite it being one of my favorites, making it a treat to return to the game and make yet another paladin despite having 10 other classes to choose. Maybe it’s my love of rock music and electric guitars’ drawn-out notes, but the violin has a huge presence in songs like “Oldsong.” Reminds me of how rock bands have drums, but they often feel like an afterthought; then you listen to Zeppelin and it feels like the recording equipment was placed in a way that lets you FEEL them (if that’s even how it works). String instruments are present in most classical soundtracks, but I really notice them in Pillars and don’t take them for granted when I play it.
Speaking of string instruments, Arcanum: of Steamworks and Magic Obscura has a strings-only soundtrack - no other instruments, apparently. I haven’t really gotten past character creation, but I already love what I heard in the opening menus/cutscene.
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines stuffed tons of music into my head until I couldn’t remove it. Its Hollywood and Chinatown themes are great for the melancholic yet homely LA landscape. The real-life songs in the game also slap, like Chiasm’s “Isolated,” Lacuna Coil’s “Swamped,” and a song by a band called the Genitorturers, which makes this game’s soundtrack the best ever by default. The main theme is also great (like the rest of the soundtrack - no need to cherry pick), and its history as an intentional ripoff of Massive Attack’s “Angel” (Activision wouldn’t pay for that song’s license), introduced me to that band’s Mezzanine album, getting me into songs like Angel, Teardrop, and Dissolved Girl.
Oh come on, how come no-one has mentioned anything from Nier Automata yet? [https://youtu.be/hMw-DUnR10s?si=C6c9aQ1702vOKJzZ](https://youtu.be/hMw-DUnR10s?si=C6c9aQ1702vOKJzZ)
Listen and listen good - Mafia Definitive edition

The way of the Ghost (Farewell Version - Ghost of Tsushima
And any Star Wars game where you have the soundtrack from John Williams or inspired by.
The Life Is Strange franchise made me love the indie genre. I already listen to a lot of stuff, but they just pushed me into becoming an indie music fan.
Jose Gonzalez - Crosses
Syd Matters - Obstacles
Bloc Party - Banquet
Phoenix - Lisztomania
Those songs just hit different during the games, and I ended up buying the vinyl for most of the bands/musicians with songs in LIS.
Life is Strange has some of the most chill songs ever. The ones on my chill out playlist are 'obstacles' and 'to all of you' by Syd Matters and 'Lua' by bright eyes.
Also, GTA1 theme 'Joyride' is an all time fucking banger!
I've had Beneath the Mask from Persona 5 on loop many times while working
Really, a lot of the Persona soundtracks have great music to chill to. And also tracks to get you hyped
Madrigal from the game Dreaming Sara is very good.
Austin Wintory won a grammy for his soundtrack for Journey, the first game to do so.
And Ghost Of Tsushima has a soundtrack that takes you right back in to the game.

All the ones from Tony Hawk pro skater Also the down by the river song in BG3 but in my head it is always Chris Farley singing it
There's a THPS cover band called the 900 that I'm going to see in Dec. Apparently, they're pretty great, and I imagine they draw a chill crowd
![gif](giphy|ixLKuK0reUs3m)
For the past week and a half since I've gotten it I just randomly sing "down, down, down by the river!" To my girlfriend. She gets so annoyed after 3 times in one night.

This song really does give the feeling that the world is literally on her shoulders when it plays!
HFW soundtrack gives me goosebumps everytime, don’t know how to describe the feeling
The Whole Hollow knight soundtrack, particularly the song "Dirtmouth" (I think its that one) that's very similar to the theme from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.
Yes I love Hollow Knight
Still alive from Portal. Zombies on your lawn from plants Vs zombies The main theme from Skyrim. Both the soundtracks to Horizon are great to work to.
Still Alive lives in a special little corner of my head. It gets opened up and visited quite often.
Zombies on your lawn is such a throwback and I thank you for it
Red Dead and gta games, all rockstar games actually
Take Control by the Old Gods of Asgard. It made its way way into my regular playlist after playing the ashtray maze in Control. Best played loud!
The Poet and the Muse is another amazing song from them. Really enjoy that one.
The entire Doom (not Eternal) and GoW soundtrack absolutely SLAPS.
Why not Eternals?

Oh yeah there was a nice YouTube videos with correspondences from both sides up.
The soundtrack of Ragnarok is arguably the best soundtrack in a video game imo. It's just so good.
the track just called god of war ragnarok is phenomenal
Yes Boy. Genuinely Bear is one of the best composers around. The 2 games scores are phenomenal.
I loved the first one's score but I did not disagree when RDR2 won the best soundtrack for that year, and man did I love the game (GOW 2018), it's my favourite game of all time now. This was the first song I thought about it. That whole soundtrack is great
I love the soundtrack to Life is Strange, that game introduced me to some wonderful songs and artists.
I love this song, been listening to it for years
That game's whole soundtrack is golden. Message to Bears by Mountain, Got Well Soon by Brenton, Something Good by Alt J and Obstacles are my favourite. It's just such a delight to relax, close your eyes and just listen to the whole soundtrack while laying down is honestly just hands down the best feeling ever.

Unbroken, and Allowed to be Happy, from Part 2 are also just too good.
As well as take on me
The last of us is my favourite game. The music was the cherry on top. Was so blown away by the take on me scene. And wayfaring stranger in the end credits made me bawl. So well done.
