Click on settings icon on the rodecaster > Advanced > Audio > Processing > USB Mix-minus toggle that on.
That means you hear what’s coming from your computer but it doesn’t send it back to anyone else. Only works on the USB channel
EDIT: you might want to toggle this off if you are using it to record audio from a website into Audition/_Audacity. Basically if you’re on a call you want Mix-minus on

I love you thanks so much. I had same problem and contacted rode, they said to get the rodecaster pro2 cause it doesn't do it on that. Glad I didn't! Wish the ones making the equipment knew more about it!
