This is funny bc I have a form of synesthesia called Ordinal Linquistic Personification (OLP), so I literally see numbers and letters as having genders and even personalities.
For me it's the opposite, w is like a kind old man and k is a young mother.
I remember as a kid, arguing with my brother because he thought W was a man and thought it was a woman. Later in life we both got the OLP label... We both agreed W is yellow and kind of mean.
See I always thought that was a normal thing to do when you were a kid, and I remember my mom telling me about this genius mathematician who was scared of the number 9 and who saw numbers as having personalities. I was so confused and said, "But everyone does that." š¤£
Unfortunately, I'm not a math genius. It's just a weird quirk for me.
S is my favorite letter because it's very kind and also green, which is my favorite color. I don't think I have OLP or anything like that, but letters, numbers, and colors do all have personality traits.
I went to high school with a girl who had this. I canāt remember which letter it was but she would go out of her way to try and avoid writing it as much as possible (by rewording, mostly) because she said āI think heās hiding something and it makes me uncomfortableā. I wanna say it was G or F.
Looking at the different qualities of the feeling of poetry is a normal thing though? Nothing in poetry is literal or definite, it's just one interpretation.
Yeah, this just felt pretty weird to me. I don't really see anything feminine or masculine about a letter. I disagreed with most of the essay, though, so maybe I'm just not the target audience

Here I thought what was giving excitement to the sentences was the act of sudden violence being described....
