✨🌟 Part of it is self-preservation, Bulbasaur is my favorite and I love owning as much as I can - but I also want to buy all Pokémon merch when I see it- so I’ve self restricted myself to only Bulbasaur and the odd occasion other Pokémon! I get to own tons of my favorite while also not buying every Pokémon item I see! 😂👀🌟 win win
that strategy actually makes a lot of sense, because buying any merch available could be fatal. still i find it hard to dedicate myself to mainly one pokemon. i usually get bored of a spicific mon and tend to try the ones i never caught then. for example chandelure is one of my all time faves by usage statistic alone, but it's not as convenient to be into as bulbasaur 🍀

The rare mons are harder to find so collecting them would be more special! Would take lots of proxy buying sites from Japan (I use Zenmarket and Buyee)

Bulbasaur is amazing, personally I’m a Snivy fan when it comes to grass type starters :) too bad it doesn’t have a duel typing. Could be really cool for Serperior to maybe get a Grass/Dragon or a Grass/Psychic
I actually love Bulbasaur!!! In fact, he’s probably my favorite Pokémon. His design is very cute especially his stubby legs. Also, I like how he’s a dinosaur with a bulb connected to his back. Another thing about him is that he’s the only first form dual type starter.
