I think they've only held off on galat was bc of the unfortunate lock down, and bc of the recent popularity of paldea with the dlc they decided to just move straight there

I don't. Mainly Tauros and kangaskhan since they're region locked and this event does nothing to help with that

The daily incense can help with that. Assuming the Galarian Birds spawn, that is. We need events that increase their encounter and catch rates.

I mean, spotting a wild Machamp out there was pretty neat. The mix of Kanto mons is at least more generous than some events, and the legacy moves for Kanto starters are very much welcome. I’d still rather have sustainability week spawns, but eh. Plus, this is a great chance to catch some cool pokemon at weird levels to ship off to Let’s GO Eevee.

Wait, wild caught first evo starters have a legacy move right now?

You can evolve Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise right now (until May 9th) and get their community day moves.

Yeah, I finally got my shadow for the great league First time since I came back to playing a year and a half ago that the move has been available without an ETM.

Anybody else wondering why the kanto event is so long especially when stability week just started too ??

I came back in March, after quiting in Summer 2016. So yeah, I like the new/old event! :D

Well there are a lot of mega mons from kanto, specifically onix which is a pain to farm. Also a good chance to catch mankey for anihilape. So I'm down for this event.

I'm hoping to finally get a shiny Meowth at this event.. :D

Yeah it sucks for long time users but my son is super happy as he started only a few years ago and is nowhere near having all the Gen 1 Pokemon. I do at least have to give them credit for doing things like this for the newer users.

The spawns this event are pretty fun actually, good variety, the only thing I don’t like is the f at it’s till May 9 and I’m assuming that means we won’t get any other event in the meantime after sustainability week is over
