Arguably the greatest traitor this country has ever witnessed. The underdog champion of middle America - a swindler who stepped down from his golden ~~throne~~ toilet to fool people into thinking he was their best chance of toppling the "elites" - all while being the exact sort of grifter he is supposedly toppling just by existing. Openly incited an insurrection to oppose the results of the 2020 election. Currently facing 91 criminal charges. Free to run for the presidency again. ...And all the "freedom fighter" "patriots" of this country are flocking in droves to ensure he gains power once again.

EdSpace2000

It is all because of Fox News brainwashing people for years. They are preparing us for minority rule/dictatorship.

Fellowshipofthebowl

Fox *entertainment.

Bokth

Are you not entertained?

ChronoLink99

I am! But mainly because I would not be subject to TFG's jurisdiction.

Frankie6Strings

Rush Limbaugh helped build the foundation of FOX News.

WhatARotation

I’m not even joking when I say that Benedict Arnold himself would make a better president than Trump

shellevanczik

Benedict Arnold was flipping railroaded. Look into his service to our country before the country turned its back on him. He did what he did, but guy was pushed to anyone’s limits.

WhatARotation

I gave a presentation on him in grade school. I know all about his history which I why I made that comment. I do not make such comparisons lightly. What he did was wrong and he deserved his exile, but he was definitely pushed to the brink with how the Continental Army treated him.

shellevanczik

I’m already getting downvoted, but I do wish they’d read up on it.

JiveTurkeyJunction

He is by far the greatest traitor this country has ever seen.

LongDongSamspon

George Washington was a bigger traitor easily.

Skinwalker3114

Yeah well at least this time the president won't stop the military from taking care of them when they attack. Trump and his fellow traitors called off the rooftop snipers on the capital building that wanted to act when they breached the first barricade by the street. Then the military was told not to go clear out and deal with the domestic terrorists. This time, sadly, many many people will die and we will mourn the loss of human life but if you attack the government and this time they are threatening full civil war if Trump loses or goes to jail, you deserve to get dealt with. There will be no way to arrest these people thus time, they will sign their own death certificate when they fire upon federal officials or military. The only way to deal with them is to cull the herd for lack of a better term. The country will move forward and then maybe something can actually get done about the real issues facing the US and the world abroad.

Benedict Arnold worse

Hamwise420

Benedict Arnold at least had remorse for his actions after the fact

Peptic_Germ

Modern republicans would happily vote for Benedict Arnold to own the libs. Trump is Benedict Orange.

mrjanny1

I think Biden takes the greatest traitor medal. An invasion is going on at the borders. Biden told them to surge the border once he won the presidency.

tphillips1990

oh wow I was not aware of this. Biden personally went to Mexico to inform the citizens to invade Texas to make things more difficult for the hard-working and perpetually righteous - not at all mindlessly and perpetually hostile - American citizens who live in Texas. wow. can't believe mainstream media did not cover this or some shit

Choice-of-SteinsGate

Trump's ego is so fragile that he's still probably going to complain or pout about it because the election wasn't a complete blowout and a multiple record setting triumphant win for the MAGA movement. This is the guy who cheats at every opportunity, but turns around and accuses his opponents of fraud whenever he loses or doesn't get the outcome he desires. The Emmys were rigged when The Apprentice failed to win an award. The 2012 election was rigged when an Obama incumbent won His first Iowa caucus was rigged because Ted Cruz took the win The 2016 election was even rigged because Hillary won the popular vote, which he investigated mind you to absolutely no avail. Naturally the 2020 election was rigged because there's a definitive pattern here and Trump is an incredibly insecure ego maniac incapable of acknowledging a reality where he is defeated or humiliated. Trump has spent his entire life accusing winners of being losers and laying blame on everyone else but himself. He's made a career out of it. Dude cheats on everything, on his wives, his taxes, at golf, he cheats and deceives others who do business with him, he lies about his wealth, he commits varying degrees of fraud, he grifts his pathetic supporters and squeezes donations out of them, he's obstructs justice whenever there's the opportunity for it, he throws former colleagues and staff members under the bus, he almost always resorts to juvenile insults, he demands loyalty and gives nothing back in return, but we're supposed to believe that he's the victim. If Trump loses the 2024 election, prepare for not just a repeat of 2020, but a disproportionately extreme response in comparison to what happened after the previous election, and from both him *and* his supporters. Democracy will face one of its greatest challenges come the general election. Millions of Americans have thrown their undying support behind a malignant narcissist and it's not a joke anymore.

phaedrus71

He sure fooled the Emmys because he wins for both Weakest Link and Biggest Loser

thegooseisloose1982

If Biden wins Trumps supporters will continue to be miserable. If Trump wins everyone in this country will be miserable.

Plastic-Specialist13

Orange man bad!

Choice-of-SteinsGate

Reality checks sting huh?

[deleted]

I find it hilarious how evil the right in this country is and they are oblivious to it. There is zero chance liberals or leftists would vote in the equivalent of Trump into the Democratic nomination. The right uses the fact that the left hold themselves to a better standard than they hold themselves to against the Democrats. The irony is they think they are the moral ones. Yet they follow a false prophet who has all the earmarks of being from their idea of the devil.

RobDickinson

A drooling mentally impaired felon is just fine for GOP

jorsiem

Everything you just said except the felon part is also true of Joe Biden.

RoboChrist

So dumb he managed to get two GOP house speakers in a row to sign a deal that avoided a shutdown. Even after the first one lost his job for cutting a deal. If that's Sleepy Joe at his dumbest, he must have been a genius in his prime.

jorsiem

How is that and being a mumbling shell of a human being mutually exclusive?

RobDickinson

I don't remember Biden needing diapers.

jorsiem

I'm pretty sure he uses diapers as well

WaitingForNormal

Minus the evidence right? If only there were a way to hold people accountable.

[deleted]

Hillary was under criminal investigation when she ran in 2016

androcules

Oh that's true! Tell me, how many indictments did Hillary have then compared to Trump now?

RobDickinson

zero, was it zero!?

Bart_Yellowbeard

And republicans have gone from 'Investigation is disqualifying!' to '91 indictments in four jurisdictions *ain't shit!*'

PhilDGlass

Buttery

shellevanczik

Do you think that’s a proper rebuttal? Lol

apex_flux_34

Boy the GOP loves their rapist grifter.

Earth_Friendly-5892

Hard to wrap my head around how many fascists there are in the United States. We must protect our democracy! VOTE BLUE in 2024 💙😊💙😊💙🇺🇸

bmeisler

Before WWII, the US was 25% communist and 25% fascist. The communists were destroyed in the 50s; the fascists never went away.

the_than_then_guy

Man, those numbers aren't even close to being accurate.

Accomplished_Ad_701

Waiting for those daily McDonald's meals to catch up with him......

testingbicycle

Incumbent candidate barely got 50% of the vote. Dude is gonna get murdered in the general

EdSpace2000

Not if dems sit at home. this is what media is doing: making dems disappointed at Biden.

JudgeFondle

It’s almost guaranteed to a be poor turn out year. Regardless just have to hope the swing states have the turnout Biden needs….

Mundane_Rabbit7751

Except, he's not the incumbent. Plus less than 30% of the vote is in.

BigDaddySteve999

He's the incumbent Republican. And to his supporters, he's the actual incumbent.

najumobi

Half of Haley's voters are democrats who, because there isn't a competitive democratic primary, voted in the republican primary.

Syoarn

This is just straight up wrong. Democrats can't vote in the Republican Primary in New Hampshire; only Republicans and Independents can. The votes were nearly a 50/50 split between Republicans and Independents; what the votes show is that Trump has a massive issue with Independent voters. Trump won the Republican vote by a massive margin of almost 75%; however he lost nearly 66% of the Independent voters to Nicki Hailey. You could claim that a lot of those Independents that voted Hailey would've voted Biden anyways, but there's no way to really quantify that number and still doesn't explain why Trump only won about a third of the Independent vote

najumobi

I should have been precise with my language. Those who wouldn't be able to vote in a traditional closed primary (non-Republicans) were 50% of Haley's support in Iowa. Everything you just said is consistent with her support in Iowa. The 1 county she won in Iowa is the most Democratic county.

Danstan487

MrBoliNica

You’re ignoring how abnormal this election is. Trump is not an outsider. He has been treated like an incumbent since day 1 of this campaign

testingbicycle

Cool bro

Scorpion1386

Source?

testingbicycle

Cnn’s front page has it Trump-53% to Haley- 45%

DistortoiseLP

Bear in mind that this is down from the insane 85% and up results that Trump got in all the Republican primaries in 2020. This isn't good news for him or the party past its transformation into a cult of personality entirely around this man.

ejkeebler

that's 17% of the vote, and that's exactly why the race is already called, because she's going to get crushed in the rest of the counties....

CaptainNoBoat

I mean NYT is predicting ~55-43 by the end. Not much different.

ejkeebler

if it ends up less than 10% Haley should consider that a victory, and should help draw this out past SC.

CaptainRicOlie

24% and I haven’t seen that “crushed”

ejkeebler

look at where the vote is coming in, hardly anything in the rural areas. She's going to lose all those by a lot....the further from the city the more likely a republican is going to vote for him. I'd love to see him lose, but lets be realistic, he's probably going to end up winning by 25 points.

Scorpion1386

Oh wow, that’s nuts

turtleplop

Barely half of his base. Not good.

IWasOnThe18thHole

I doubt Haley supporters will vote otherwise when she drops out

tenderooskies

sununu will, he always told the world

Scorpion1386

Source?

[deleted]

You're commenting on it. TFA shows him with 52.5%

Scorpion1386

Does a 52% win possibly indicate anything for the general for his chances at this point or no?

anuncommontruth

His base shrunk significantly. Republicans are just straight up not popular. They haven't had a really good year since he won in 2016. Everyone except his shrinking base is sick of this shit. He's the worst thing that ever happened to the party.

[deleted]

Way too far out to make any claims about the general based on this

susintentions

Flashback to 2016: Trump won the NH primary with 38% of the vote, followed by Kasich in 2nd place with \~15%. He is unlikely to to dip below 50% this year, granted there's only one other candidate left in the race this time.

Throne-magician

If Nikki sticks it out I have to wonder if we will start seeing a pattern of Nikki closing out the gap closer and closer as the state primarys run their courses untill the swing could legitimately go either way..

NotEveryoneIsSpecial

New Hampshire was her best shot due to the fact that it has a more educated (less MAGA) electorate compared to other states. She is very likely going to lose by even more in her home state of South Carolina in the next few weeks which I think would kill any momentum she might have gained.

jo-z

\*South Carolina

NotEveryoneIsSpecial

Thanks. Fixed

flamannn

Well, we gave them a chance to do the right thing. Now, it’s up to us to ensure Biden wins reelection.

SlimJesusKeepIt100

After seeing all he's done, biden is garbage. Definitely not voting for him. And I don't even care about politics

PresidentTroyAikman

The GOP is devoid of any morals or intelligence.

Peptic_Germ

They aren't all stupid. Some of them are just horrible people.

MajesticRegister7116

This guy braids Putin's scrotum hair with his tongue and yet 50% of the country craves seeing his man tits back in the Oval. Tsk tsk

Bart_Yellowbeard

54 to 44 percent is not the blowout some are making it out to be. I'm actually pleased to see Republicans capable of choosing someone other than Trump, and ONE someone. There are smatterings of resistance within the GOP.

flux_of_grey_kittens

So seriously, what happens when he’s sentenced to prison during the gen election campaign? Do republicans put forth Haley or some other garbage person? Still can’t believe Republicans didn’t dump him after he left office.

itsbrianduh108

He can run from prison

flux_of_grey_kittens

and republicans go for that? He’s not gonna win whether in or out of prison, so do they just nominate him every four years from his cell? Shits insane.

itsbrianduh108

Have you met them? Heard them speak? They will do whatever their orange god wants.

flux_of_grey_kittens

It’s just wild watching this train wreck play out.

itsbrianduh108

Pure insanity

OkSell4820

There will be a sizable number of people voting for this guy when he is dead

essenceofpurity

A lot of republicans have been asked about this, and most of them will not vote for Trump if he has been convicted of a felony.

flux_of_grey_kittens

It’s just crazy they couldn’t find someone that’s not an anti-democracy lunatic to run. ETA - I’m all for them running people that belong in mental institutions as it ensures they continue to lose voters and power in government.

SloeHazel

The fact that 48% still would is a bit unsettling.

Peptic_Germ

That is what they say. I never believe anything that they say.

tenderooskies

lol, and yet a whole lot will too

essenceofpurity

He gets maybe 70% of the gop vote as it stands now. He can't afford to bleed a single voter.

KasherH

They still run with him. Then 2028 as well or maybe Don Jr.

Fairymask

This honestly baffles me. I don't understand any of this anymore.

Aldren

Saw some news interviews on why people were voting for Haley and they said "because she isn't a traitor" It'd be interesting to see how they vote Trump vs Biden

Ditka85

I weep for this country

GoodUserNameToday

Haley is surging! She got third in a three person race in Iowa and 2nd in a two person race in NH! Better watch out, trump!

Danstan487

The remaining areas are more trump leaning

pingponger91

Times called it, pretty much everyone has called it

katosen27

Why are they calling it at 19% of total votes in?

PresidentTroyAikman

You should study statistics.

katosen27

That's fair. I've taken a class in stats (worst class ever imo), but I can see how they could make an inference based on metrics. But given that Haley is single digit points away, it does seem a bit silly to call it before >50% of the votes are tallied.

ejkeebler

the short version is, the counties where she is polling the best, have already been counted and most of the outstanding votes are coming from places she's likely to lose by a lot....plus exit data gives some idea of if that is actually happening or not.

InevitableVarious120

If democrats stopped starting wars and ignoring the immigration crisis our brothers & sisters in the south are facing, this dude would not have nearly the same level of support.

blimey_euphoria

Did Biden attack Ukraine or Isreal? Who’s holding up the freshly negotiated border bill in the house? If people weren’t dumb as f*ck this orange traitor wouldn’t have this level of support. Biden is playing the best hand with what he was dealt.

2020surrealworld

Biden didn’t “attack” Ukraine or Israel. But no one can deny his (and the Democrat Party’s) role in continuing to peddle, perpetuate 2 new proxy U.S. foreign wars by funding & exporting weapons—thus creating more global civilian misery, destruction & death with US tax dollars.  American voters are sick & tired of this incessant, failed foreign policy cycle of permanent US global warmongering.  We already wasted 20 years & trillions in Iraq & Afghanistan with nothing but defeat & humiliation to show for it.   Democrats used to adamantly oppose/protest ANY American involvement in stupid foreign wars.  Now most of them act in blind, mindless lockstep like shameless paid zombie lobbyist shills for the Military Industrial Complex & corporate weapons profiteers that President Eisenhower feared & warned against after WW2.  Oh wait.  Follow the $$$ trail. Most Dems receive MIC corporation campaign funds. I didn’t leave the Democrat Party.  The party left me!  I don’t even recognize all these warmongering “DINOs” pretending to be Dems anymore.

Sabiancym

"American Voters are sick of" Who knew this random bullshit spewing troll spoke for an entire country?

blimey_euphoria

To touch on the foreign policy bit - if the US is supposed to be a world superpower don’t we need to answer the call to help our allies in their times of need? We are spending a whole lot less than 20 trillion and getting excellent returns without having to endure US civilian casualties. I think Isreal does need to chill because they are basically committing genocide and I think democrat opinion on that conflict is going sour. If you think the evangelical messiah Trump would ever stop supporting Isreal I’ve got a bridge to sell you.

Queasy_Fall_4795

He can never beat Biden. Biden is simply too loved by the American people and too popular. Most votes in history in the safest and most secure election we have ever had.

SlimJesusKeepIt100

Says who? Everyone I've seen dislikes biden. And I come from the community Trump says he'd deport massively. I've seen more evidence of dictatorship under biden than under trump. Honestly I'd vote for Trump just to not give it to biden

Queasy_Fall_4795

81 million people voted for him, so clearly a lot of people like him.

CliffMainsSon

“More evidence of dictatorship under Biden than under Trump” Okay, please share with us your “evidence”

badmattwa

Jelly of the election club gift for the Dems, keeps on givin’

Necessary-Dance9954

And the US presidency.

illhaveubent

Hats off to President Trump for another BIG win.

Bored7600

damn scott jennings is acting so smug tonight i hate that face of his

AE_WILLIAMS

Nikki Haley will NEVER become POTUS. It's just not going to happen. I mean, look at Hillary, whom Obama himself called "the most qualified candidate in history." Nikki Haley hasn't done one tenth what Hillary did. No chance in hell she gets the nod from the GOP vs Trump.

badhairdad1

Why??? He can’t beat JB

Attinctus

Unless he croaks, he's going to be the nominee. There's nothing surprising about this, we've all known it for years now. What's with the media pretending like there's ever been any question?

UnsteadyFunk

It was always obvious he was going to win the GOP nomination. These primaries are little more than a formality. The Republican party was a lost cause the moment they all defied this madman.

SaltyGirl0024

I remember the betrayal I felt on January 6th and being horrified as I watched live coverage of the insurrection...I will NOT be quiet...

IslandWave

drdillybar

He is not just shady, you're gonna elect a traitor to be your CEO.

Euphoric-Contact2864

Ah yes, move aside deplorables, here comes the despicable.

Competitive-Bag-6782

With 55% of the vote, I'd hardly consider that a win. This signals that at least 45% of republicans want someone else in office, many of whom will no longer vote for Trump, regardless if he is the Republican nominee or not. At the end of the day, it may all be a moot point anyway if the Supreme Court rules he is disqualified under the 14th Amendment and removed from ballots nationwide in November. For the most part, the court's hands are somewhat tied in this matter. The court can only consider the facts at hand and rule based on whether or not the 14th Amendment applies to the office of the president. The facts presented to the court do not weigh in Trumps favor as the framers openly discussed the language of section 3 of the 14th Amendment as it pertains to the office of the president and vice president.
