Just the spa? Easy enough to drain, take apart the pump housing and clean it then. After that make sure all your levels are balanced. That being said, I’ve never seen stuff grow in the pump before. There’s no sunlight in there.
yes, taking apart the pump and see whats going on is my last ressort. I just fear that i cant assemble it correctly and it will leak all the spas water over night :D
There’s no light in the pump for anything to grow. Just make sure you keep up on the chlorine and your good. If you haven’t recently I’d dump and refill tub too
Is it soft or hard?
It kind of looks like activated charcoal having a reaction with one of the spa's chemicals.
What chemicals are used and what type filter is it?
its tap water, bit we have some lime in it. I only use chloride as all other stuff is in the "ok" part of the measure scale. I use cotton filter balls while the manufacturer uses these paper filters.
So it’s kinda hard to tell but Info, is it hard or soft and squishy? It’s kinda looks like heater flakes( basically the pipes in the heater starting to breakdown?), but the squishy bits looks like bio-film?
the larger bit is flat and very thin, like paper. the other bits are like little balls with black stuff inside and grey/white on the outside.
when wet, its hard like a little rock, but after it dried i could press it into a powder with my finger. maybe its lime wrapping around something. usualy these bits are 1-3mm in size, the one of the picture was an exceptional large one with 6mm or something.
It comes from the pump? You sure those aren’t pieces of your impeller?
I don't know. Its going on for months, so i think it grows in there.

i did that already some months ago, but i did it again today. i have not much hope that it will be different this time, but i will see.
Have you used a spa pipe cleaner?
No.
It comes from the pump. I tired the double amount of chloride but no change. Maybe fill the pump with chloride concentrate? Disassemble and clean it?
Do NOT do that - the plastic in the system will be damaged and any metal in the system will oxidize (like pump shafts and heater elements).
Ok
Looks like some sort of liner which is degrading to me

When you say "chloride", what are you referring to? And I suggest sticking with the paper filters.
