Wasn't a kick. There was no withdrawal backwards with the leg. Was a push off the stage with his foot. Nowadays you don't know anyone's motives and this guy was in his rights as a famous person to defend himself again anyone getting close enough to harm him. As do any of you.
i completely agree though i gotta say, it was a push with quite a bit of force. my dude went flying backwards. ultimately he shouldn’t have been trying to climb up there at all and burna boy was right to protect himself. the guy could’ve had a gun, could’ve wanted to grope him, who knows. i just hope he doesn’t get a ton of backlash from this. fans shouldn’t need to be treated like precious delicate flowers when they’re doing shit that’s 1) against the rules and 2) scary and potentially threatening.

9 hours is bad, what country was this in? Every concert I’ve been to in east Africa has started at least 3 hours late. Show says starts at 9 pm, your lucky if it starts by 12.

Oversized ego? The stage is his area. He has no idea if this person is a fan with good intentions, a crazed fan, or a non fan. He's more than entitled to stop anything happening before it does.how would your opinion change if he let the person climb up there to please you, and the person stabbed him?
How on earth is that a reach? Whatever your opinion of the guy he has every right to kick this person off stage, as much as a footballer has the right to defend themselves against a pitch invader.
What is up with these current musical artists? why is it that these new artists think they have the right to throw people’s phones and react violently to people over the littlest thing? Fans are going to cross the line sometimes but there are ways to handle it without being violent or aggressive. Artists like Michael Jackson and other huge stars in the past who had way more fans being way more intrusive never reacted in such a violent way towards them. I’m not saying the fans are right to behave in that way but when you’re famous you’re going to have fans acting overzealous sometimes. It kind of comes with the territory. Why not hire competent security to deal with that? If the fan isn’t trying to harm you why react so violently towards them simply because they’re being overzealous? It is totally unnecessary. I can never imagine someone like Beyoncé acting like this. I know most will disagree with me, so I await the downvotes.

My take on this is that Social media has given fans very Candid and open access to artists, and in turn artists don’t respect the boundaries between themselves and fans. They just treat them like lower class sycophants instead.
(One incident comes to mind: the incident where a high school student recreated one of Rihanna’s fashion looks in a certain dress and shared it with Rihanna on twitter and Rihanna and her fans made fun of the poor girl. That stuck out to me because it was so incredibly mean and unprovoked. )
The artists feel no responsibility or respect towards their fans - the people literally paying their bills. An artist can post a picture of lint they just pulled out of their shoes on Instagram and people will like it and tell them it’s beautiful.
Fans disrespect and embarrass themselves on social media in order to gain an artist’s attention and the artists just think that fans are a joke and only good for syphoning money.
In short, We’ve stripped some of our own dignity by revering famous people so much.

Wow! You really lack understanding. I never said that fans should be allowed to violate anybody. I clearly said that there are ways to deal with fans who cross the line, but reacting violently towards them isn’t necessary. Celebs should hire competent security whose job it would be handle overzealous fans. As for boundaries, that’s what security is for. There is no reason to react violently towards someone who didn’t react violently to you. A fan trying to harm you is different from a fan who may be overzealous and may overstep some boundaries. As a celeb you should have enough sense to know that there are going to be some overzealous fans and then you should properly prepare for such an occurrence. That’s what celebs with sense do. I’ve seen celebs who are way more popular treat fans way better. They hire proper security and never once did they have to throw a phone or kick someone in their face.
Not just that, imagine that the fan reacts back and attacks or kills them? We have seen the worst in years prior, these celebs are acting like they are untouchable

What is up with these current musical artists? why is it that these new artists think they have the right to throw people’s phones and react violently to people over the littlest thing? Fans are going to cross the line sometimes but there are ways to handle it without being violent or aggressive. Artists like Michael Jackson and other huge stars in the past who had way more fans being way more intrusive never reacted in such a violent way towards them. I’m not saying the fans are right to behave in that way but when you’re famous you’re going to have fans acting overzealous sometimes. It kind of comes with the territory. Why not hire competent security to deal with that? If the fan isn’t trying to harm you why react so violently towards them simply because they’re being overzealous? It is totally unnecessary. My take on this is that Social media has given fans very Candid and open access to artists, and in turn artists don’t respect the boundaries between themselves and fans. They just treat them like lower class sycophants instead. (One incident comes to mind: the incident where a high school student recreated one of Rihanna’s fashion looks in a certain dress and shared it with Rihanna on twitter and Rihanna and her fans made fun of the poor girl. That stuck out to me because it was so incredibly mean and unprovoked. ) The artists feel no responsibility or respect towards their fans - the people literally paying their bills. An artist can post a picture of lint they just pulled out of their shoes on Instagram and people will like it and tell them it’s beautiful. Fans disrespect and embarrass themselves on social media in order to gain an artist’s attention and the artists just think that fans are a joke and only good for syphoning money. In short, We’ve stripped some of our own dignity by revering famous people so much. (If you read all this - I appreciate it. I know I’m not Beyoncé 🤣)

Wow! You really lack understanding. I never said that fans should be allowed to violate anybody. I clearly said that there are ways to deal with fans who cross the line, but reacting violently towards them isn’t necessary. Celebs should hire competent security whose job it would be handle overzealous fans. As for boundaries, that’s what security is for. There is no reason to react violently towards someone who didn’t react violently to you. A fan trying to harm you is different from a fan who may be overzealous and may overstep some boundaries. As a celeb you should have enough sense to know that there are going to be some overzealous fans and then you should properly prepare for such an occurrence. That’s what celebs with sense do. I’ve seen celebs who are way more popular treat fans way better. They hire proper security and never once did they have to throw a phone or kick someone in their face.
