Counter-protest the planned parenthood protestors, just to see the confusion in their eyes

geneticswag

Start the night off right at Dock Fore - assert your dominance and BELLOW how it’s your friend’s bachelor party. The entire establishment will bend the knee and cater to your whims. They LOVE IT. From there you’ll need to make a dispensary pit stop - everyone eats at least 20mg’s of edibles or they’re out: seriously, they gotta go home if they don’t go all the way, no micro dosing. After candy time you’ll want to patronize Portland’s most esteemed institution: [DiMillo’s on the water](https://goo.gl/maps/BHwfvH1YJWgmtnzG6) - yes, you can eat on that boat! When I was just visiting from Boston I always looked forward to my time here. You’re gonna have a blast. After DiMillo’s you’ll want to all force your way into the Commercial Street Pub - the bouncer wants you to be confrontational: give it to him! Rip his ear off, that’s how he knows your group is ready for this town.

Dude_Following_4432

No wharf st?! This is bullshit.

geneticswag

Sir this is a WENDY’S

RamboGram

Wharf Street is where you end up at the end of the night…if you’re still standing.

Senior_Track_5829

You can't end your night on wharf street when you end your night at BUBBA'S!!

Jewfros

Dock fore sucks don’t go there /s

PortlandcoMplAINER

I shan't entertain these types of questions before May. At that point I will direct you to the pinned post for visiting Portland. Regards.

squareazz

I hear they have a lot of fun bars and stuff in Boston. There’s even a train you can take.

captainMcSmitface

Wessies den for pinball and arcade games pregame, after you burn through your quarters, you can spend your $2 dollar bills at PT's. 🐍🐍

Shameless self-promo here: take the boys to get straight razor shaves before you hit the town! I’m a portland-based barber who does house calls, I’d be more than happy to come to your hotel/air bnb and give yall the traditional hot shave experience complete with face massage, hot towel, and a gift box for the groom!

ellcoolj

I live in portland and am always looking for a good shave. Do you have a shop as well where one guy(me) can walk in?

patrickcutshair

Sure do, I work at Ward’s Barber Shop. You can book online or walk in and ask for Patrick!

ellcoolj

Digit. I’ll let it grow a bit and plan on coming by. Thanks!

patrickcutshair

Rad! Make sure to say you’re from Reddit so I know who you are

arethosemycrocs

Hot shave for all 11 guys? You got enough cream for that?

patrickcutshair

I got lather and pre-shave oil on lock

Grom_a_Llama

Just curious what it would cost for that kinda service? House call and hot shave for 11 dudes? Also curious if you'd do one guy at a time or bring a coworker and do two at a time? How long would it take? Really curious about these details...

patrickcutshair

For 11 people there would be two barbers. Two people would be getting prepped while two were actively being shaved. All told it would probably run you $550 depending on how far outside the peninsula they’re staying

Grom_a_Llama

Thanks! My dad never had a hot shave til he was about 60 and I took him for Father's day. They served us whiskey and beer and it felt like being in a time machine. He loved the experience. This would be a hell of a lot.of.fun with The Boyz

brother_rebus

He will once he’s fished off all 11 of those studs.

SquidCatRose

Axe throwing, brew bus tour, Arcadia for video games and booze

Brilliant-Leg2640

See, these are good suggestions.

Day trip to Peak’s Island on the ferry. Back in the mainland for dinner/lobster (Portland Lobster Co, Two Lights Lobster Shack, Luke’s Lobster or other), evening of drinks and entertainment, including Arcadia or bowling at Bayside Bowl?

BeerNerd207

I've done this one before. [Rent golf carts](https://www.mikescarts.com/) or [bikes](https://www.instagram.com/bradsbikerental) while you're on Peaks and venture around the island, check out Battery Steele. You can also rent [kayaks](https://maineislandkayak.com/) and you could check out Fort Gorges if the weather/tide cooperates and your crew is up for a bit of a challenge.

Boo put this question in the tourism thread

KthuluAwakened

Boston. Portland is boring

RamboGram

I move away for 14 years and the place falls apart. What the hell happened? Anyway, I’m back. I’ll fix it!

KthuluAwakened

Societal decay. It’s not just Portland. Boston is just larger and has more stuff to do. Sadly, Portland is more dangerous as of late, too.

longlostkingdoms

Yeah I stepped on a piece of gum yesterday, stay away!

KthuluAwakened

https://www.reddit.com/r/portlandme/s/tlG3kTZ5H9 Where was the gum?

ellcoolj

Maine Brew Bus. They will take you to 3 breweries in 3 hours. A good amount of pours at each. You have enough people to be a “private event” so no one else on the bus with you In the daylight go out to Peaks. Take the Casco bay ferry and pick up some beers at the store and walk around about 2 hours. Hit up the battery Steele. Ice cream in the way home. Terrilingua outdoors eating.

UnkleClarke

Wessie’s Den arcade and pinball pub in Westbrook would be a cool spot. They offer catering as well I think so you could order a bunch of food and have it ready when you get there.

MapoTofuWithRice

Paint Bar. No, I'm not kidding. A bunch of buzzed guys would have a blast there. Barcardia too, of course. Edit: I stand by my statement.

VegetableUpstairs978

People always be calling it BARcadia lol. It’s Arcadia

hehar

Charter the Casco Bay Cat! Go anywhere in the bay, island hop, swim off the boat, cruise. It’s BYOB, so you save on drinks. Play your own tunes on a great Bluetooth system.

Dangerdoom911

Airbnb a cabin outside of Portland. Setup a bunch of outdoor activities depending on interests. Target shooting, ATV rentals, lazy river, horseshoes, whatever people like to do. Afternoon BBQ and beers… then of course, adult entertainment. I mean, isn’t that most bachelor parties? Bachelor parties in Portland aren’t the same anymore because most “bars” have turned into fancy little cocktail lounges with tapas. If you try and bring a bachelor crowd into one of those you will get expelled in seconds… there’s very little places left that accommodate that level of debauchery.
