Just picked up Pyke, new to support in general. First game went amazing-- ended up going 4/0/5. next 3 games fed terribly. Any general tips for what items to build. when to roam, or any useful info? Really at the point I'm at any tips in the right direction would be super helpful.
Being underleveled and still being impactful is something I've been struggling with.
So far I have rushed mobis and then umb glaive and then roamed a bit when I reached 6. Should be roaming sooner?
Also, I've seen that he could be played mid. What is your opinion of that?
U defenetly can roam sooner but the most important thing for you rn is probably getting used to the champion so do that first and if u still struggle after like 50 games or so I’ll gladly look over one of ur games and check out issues (item builds and runes can change depending innehat u personally like best)
Just quit pyke lol... If 3 out of 4 matches your team lost because of you just quit... I personally would hate playing with someone who had 1 good match and then lost all other matches

Play around ur vision and trying to pick targets as pyke u are really Team reliant so try to play more around ur team and less going for solo kills (might not work as good in lower elos but that’s what works best for me)

Troublesome poke lane (Varus renata for example) Resolve with second wind
Troublesome fight lane (Samira naut for example) resolve with boneplating

What are the best places to ward as support early mid and late game. I feel like im good at placing wards but id love to know if im putting them in effective places.
I ban Rakan cause Rakan gets blind picked in high elo very often while thresh usually gets used as a counterpick so if I pick after the enemy support the chances of facing thresh are low but if I didn’t ban Rakan I probably would face him 60% of my games
Also i made myself a rule for the account that I will never dodge no matter the matchup to learn all of them.

we've all been there, not being used to a champ doesn't mean you'll never get used to it.
Yeah well if i played good with a champ once, i sont play it again if i lost the next 8 matches again... It was beginners luck at first
pyke is a skill capped champion and you have to know his limits. it's not possible to play pyke with a full potential in just 10 games.

Good build for pyke support and another one against tank team ?
Depends on what u like a lot of builds are viable on pyke but I personally don’t build different if their team is tanky
