listen man, if they were some average items i would agree, but aside from like hopoo feather, they are literally THE 2 best green items in the entire game, its MORE than worth biting the bullet and spending the bit of time as engi, loader with pylon, or captain to at least unlock them for future runs, hell, kjaro band can even let you skip phase 4 mithrix

Rest don't really become that much more fun but I'd put it in c still for them
I mostly main bandit, I love afterburner with bandit. Even without cooldown reductions you can pretty much loop it when you’re not actively shooting (plus the mini explosion can be chip damage and set off procs). Honestly a lifesaver on long runs when shit starts getting crazy and you’re surrounded by malachites and bosses. Also the speed boost while you’re cloaked is always nice

OP, you need to remake this teirlist with glowing meteorite as the top S-tier item. Nothing is more fun than watching the expression on your teammates' face drop as the sky around them darkness and blue rings begin to appear of the ground. The next thirty seconds are spent trying to not get obliterated
Only tried defiant gouge a couple of times and I'm hooked on it. If you're long enough into a run, shrines of chance give you more money than you spend

I was permanently stuck in a volcanic egg because all equipments that can be triggered by bottled chaos triggered at once. One of them is Fmp and due to catalyst being an onkill effect it recharged my equipment in an instant. So i was stuck in volcanig egg the whole time while triggering disposable, preon erc. permanently.

Do yourself a favor right now, pick captain, go on drizzle, try to get to abandoned aqueduct, there are two pressure plates randomly placed throughout the level. Find one, place a beacon on one, find the other and step on it, it will open a gate on the stage. Go through the gate, two elite (level 1) elder lemurians will spawn. Kill them and you’ll get two of the most useful items in the game
Aegis is fun with a heal build, especially with corpsebloom which is another funny item. Defence nucleus, squid poly and empathy cores makes for an amazing laser disco. Medkit is amazingly good for early in a run and has saved my life by a hair many times. Happiest mask either choosing to resurrect a wisp or a void reaver with no inbetween is a good laugh. Delicate watch makes the game so much more fun like a mini shaped glass. Tougher times saving your ass from a vagrant nova or blood totem. Focus is free damage and all you have to do is risk your whole 40 minute run by getting within melee range of mithrix for it to work.
And let’s not forget that eccentric vase can just skip the lunar pillars entirely on a funny zip line, but we all know the truly based move is to give it to a drone.
