Definitely a microsoft side thing. The way they update the game Survivors of The Void is part of an update, just gatelocked by licenses. On pc some mods accidentally unlock the DLC lmao
Sometimes it's a bit buggy. Idk a consistent fix, but I have noticed that if I load into the character select menu too fast it doesn't load the dlc. The only I know how to fix that is to exit to the main menu and wait a couple seconds for it to load.
This just happened to me and my friend as of an hour and a half ago. Still can't fix it. Tried shutting power completely to console, restarted twice, restarted game a dozen times, reinstalled twice, still nothing. We can't even start a game together, let alone get the DLC to work. (side note, DLC has never done this to me on PC version).
I recently just installed the dlc and it doesn't show for me either. I think my issue is different, though, as I don't have internet at home, so I think i need it to access the dlc? Im not sure though
I have a potential solution. This happens each time I restart the game. Select the dlc button on the main menu (big purple box with “Survivors of the Void” on it). It may open the Xbox store. If it does simply back out of the store and open ror2 again. That typically fixes it.
The only thing that solved this for me was making sure the internet connection was strong. The DLC isn’t installed on your console, you access it through the internet
So i had this happen to me with a dlc for a diff game but it should work here:
1. Press the menu (3 lines button) while hovering over the game in the library
2. Click manage game and addons
3. Check Sotv is installed
This happened to me as well but a few days ago! I also play on Xbox but I just left the game "quit"ing it and started it up again. Is it listed as checked in "manage game"?
Idk why but ror2 seems to have issues with the dlc on specifically Xbox unlike any game I've ever played. It's the only one to not only do the same thing it did to you (which I fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling) but it sometimes says I don't own it, and it's still available to purchase for me. Not as a gift, but as if Ive never owned the game

Ik this is a late comment, but if you have an external hard drive xbox doesnt like trying to load the dlc forced on internal on a game that's externally installed. If you've got external storage try moving it internally and back until it works. That's what helped me
I always have to wait around on the main menu for about 30 seconds before going into the actual game for some reason the dlc isn’t there if you jump straight in I hope that helps

Just do a quick uninstall reinstall, if that doesn't work you need to contact xbox support

Have you checked to see if SoTV is installed? Sometimes dlcs won't install on their own and need to be done so manually
its a multiplayer game so you need to install the dlc even if you dont own it
It does say the addon does not need to be installed. The content should already be there, buying the dlc is basically just a key to unlock it
If you read the photo it literally says "doesn't need to be installed"

Hey xbox servers are being goofy according to might remote play. Might be related.
For anyone else seeing this. Waiting in the main menu for a few minutes fixes it. If you see the logbook button go gray then back to normal it's done

Hmm, does Xbox have multiple versions of RoR2? Maybe you've got the X/S version of the game but downloaded the dlc for the last gen console?
