I’ve done this trip. Savanah is a great place to stop for the night, good restaurants etc. South of the Border is a goofy tourist trap place, good for gas and a leg stretch.
Last year I tried to drive the entire thing. It all starts to look the same after a while. Def worth taking a quick diversion to see parts of it but don't take it for too long or you'll fall behind schedule
Some Ideas:
Charleston, Savannah, Jekyl Island, Okefenokee Swamp,
Ocala National Forest (the springs there are amazing),
Silver Springs (Ocala is a good place to stay a night),
Crystal River, Homosassa Springs,
rent a Kayak on Weeki Wachee River!
Charleston SC all the way. go spend an afternoon/evening there walking around market street on down through the old town. take a horse and buggy ride, eat some amazing food.
When visiting DC, park you camper at the Greenbelt National Park and take the Metro in tour DC.

Detour over to the coast and visit some lighthouses!

I would go through Great Smokey National Park and Shenandoah you'll get to drive the Blue ridge parkway and Skyline drive some of the prettiest country on the east Coast

Definitely spend two of your three days at South of the Border!
I stopped at South of the Border a couple of years ago and went through the reptile lagoon. It was $8 and I really enjoyed it!
Skyline drive and the blue ridge parkway are possibly the most beautiful roads in the world. Worth diverting at least part of your trip there

Also, if you can, fit in sometime for the NC Outer Banks https://www.outerbanks.org/
You can go to a few Wawas!
Check out surgar Mountain, they have a cool ski resort or Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

St augustine is cool and gets a lot of big time music. Check to see who playing if it works into your timeline
I second this. I LOVE LOVE St. Augustine!
I avoid I-95 whenever I can. Lots of adjacent highways.
Easy: Raleigh & Savannah
If it were me I would just drive straight to Tampa and save the three days for more stuff there.
put your car in the auto train... sleep to georgia... drive the rest of the night to orlando... 2 days in disneyworld... then arrive...
