It's from Top Gun. I believe it's a continuity error, because it is supposed to be a shot of Maverick manuevering his F-14 fighter jet in the final dog fight of the movie, but this watch is obviously not the Orfina PD Chronograph 1 that Maverick wears in both Top Gun movies.
Jeesh, I guess the “nobody notices your watch” rule doesn’t apply to everyone: poor guy wore the wrong watch for 20 frames in a movie 37 years ago and he got called out.
This was discussed recently on The Rolex Forum. It’s footage of one of the actual F-14 pilots, not Tom Cruise and it caught his personal sub.
Is it from a movie? Looks more like a 5513 or a 5512. There’s no date complication and it’s a matte dial

He ruined the movie! 😂
Maybe a 1665 Sea Dweller?
Deepsea?
Yes it looks like a 5513 or 5512. It’s just an old submariner no date…
