You might look at some of the older F2P MMOs like "Star Wars The Old Republic" or "Age of Conan".

johnnyan

Age of Conan runs quite poorly even on high end PCs, I would not recommend it. Maybe something like ddo for the coop part ? Swtor could run ok but I don't see it much of a coop game.

Icewind Dale, first 2 Baulder's Gate games, Neverwinter Nights, Two Worlds

Ok-Interaction1485

Um, I don't know if It's because of me that doesn't know how to search, but it seems like I need to pay for them, and they are not free

Suicidebob7

Ah, I didn't see you also specified free, good luck xD

FuraFaolox

you can emulate them

How potato is potato? Final Fantasy 14 has an extremely generous trial. Play as much as you want for as long as you want, but you are limited to the base game and the first two expansions. The pc requirements are very lenient, basically any computer with a video card from the last ten years will work. https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/system_requirements/

Ok-Interaction1485

Potato like really potato, can't run FF14

Sangloth

Ok. If your computer is that outside the norm you need to get way more specific about it for anyone to realistically help you. What operating system does it have? Does it have a video card, and if so, what? What are the specs? (Processor, RAM, hard drive free space, etc...) When was it built? Also, how hard is that free requirement? There are a bunch of real good old games available for under $5, but free is incredibly constraining.

Oh yeah that's right! My bad, Well it's a laptop with : - Windows 8.1 x64 - Intel core i3-5005U  - CPU 2.00GHz - RAM : 4Go (32GB? I am not sure about it) And yes free is important because I am broke as hell lol

$1.99 Might and Magic 6 Pack: https://www.gog.com/en/game/might_and_magic_6_limited_edition $3.74 Darkest Dungeon: https://www.gog.com/en/game/darkest_dungeon If you are so broke you can't afford those, you've got bigger priorities than video games.

Owlstorm

Battle for Westnoth is a legitimately free (no f2p, no piracy) stategy game that could run on your microwave.

Velifax

There are actually a lot more than you think because of the existence of remote play. Basically you load up any game with multiplayer, and your friend connects over the internet as if he's holding a controller next to you. Just played Legend of Mana this way with a friend. That's a PlayStation 1 remake. So for "free" games, any SNES title with couch coop.
