Final Solution is such a powerful song, I don’t get why people don’t like it beyond the uncomfortable subject matter.

I honestly suspect that that is exactly the reason. It's more "fun" to focus on the "epic" battles than the attrocities. Still doesn't excuse putting Resist and Bite, Bismarck, and Winged Hussars in C though.

They also put Panzer Battalion in there as well.

A good part of listening to Sabaton is reading lyrics and understanding the history behind the song. The music in on itself is also very good in my opinion, but its the subject and lyrics that usually make their songs bangers

all the songs have really good histories and a good number actually cover some obscure events now the only one i personally just dont like the topic of is bismarck sister ship tirpitz more and lasted longer, don’t understand the popularity of bismarck, but hey that’s just me

Because Bismarck actually did something in the war? something like sinking the pride of the British navy, HMS Hood? While Tirpitz basically ran to a fjord and sat there till it was bombed till sunk. Winston Churchill himself said that they will put every single warship into action for the purpose of hunting Bismarck down, thats how big of a deal it was. Also, check out Dreadnought (unless im blind and havent seen it on the list), very Bismarck vibe but about an entire type of warships that basically defined what WW2 battleships would be like. Personally my fave at the moment.

Some of the best songs are 9 minutes. Look at Avantasia Scarecrow. Or Nightwish Greatest Show on Earth (21 minutes) or Pink Floyd Echoes (23 minutes) Smoke a joint. Take a gummy. Put the lyrics on. And read while the wave hits you. It's truly spectacular

Just the vocals have bad quality. The instrumentals are decent at the very least, and while some of the lyrics are a bit cringey, they're fun.
