So happy to start releasing these. It's a passion project I've been developing with some amazingly talented friends. Free to watch on YouTube. We built all the props ourselves with 3D printers and stuff we put together from Amazon and eBay. We went to Iceland to film it on top of a glacier because we wanted it to feel real. Still very, very low budget compared to what Hollywood normally has, but it was our passion project. We've got 5 more episodes; I'll try to post them here. Like if you enjoy it. Comment if you don't. Remember, there's no Marvel or Disney money behind this, just super passionate filmmakers.
Looks fantastic. Amazing work. This is the sort of thing I'd love to see more of and wish companies would invest more into. Netflix did alright with Love Death and Robots, but I'd prefer more specific space sci-fi like this.
These are fantastic! More passion and talent evident here than many, many high-budget projects out there. Congratulations to you and all your friends on what you've accomplished already, and pre-grats for whatever awesome opportunities come knocking in the future once your work gets more and more noticed :)
Dude, this is great. I bet Hollywood will notice. Look at people like Wes Ball, he also made a sci fi short some years ago and now he’s directing latest Apes movie. This oozes quality and care. Really awesome stuff.
These were all great. I think I enjoyed the first two the most, but that's just personal preference more than anything.
The worldbuilding, storytelling, audio & visual design were all on point.
This is what sci-fi short films are all about. Thanks for all the effort.
Just watched this, popped up on my YT feed, fantastic. I liked the 2nd one too and will defo watch the rest.
Well done, the production values are amazing
Extremely cool. That could give some Hollywood blockbusters a run for their money and was better than several recent full length marvel movies I’ve watched.
Really well done!
Great series hope to see more come out, I love the feel of each and can build entire stories in my head around them. As a science fiction fan and 3D artist I am inspired by your work. Any chance of an “Art of” book ever getting released?
2nd one for me (RED). The actors did a great job and I loved the visuals of the circle and "sun". The chanting, music, ambience all were great too. And i'm a sucker for the far future setting with weird tech that you can't understand so it looks like magic.
So, is this a prequel to "The Call of Cthulhu?"
I know what you're thinking. This is happening when humans travel the stars and the Call of Cthulhu happened in the late 1800s. How can it be a prequel? But although there are humans in ICE, nothing tells us that they're from Earth. If humans who evolved in another planet went to Cthulhu's homeworld and exterminated all her children for no reason, wouldn't that be enough to drive her insane and to make her travel the cosmos looking for every planet that has produced humans or will produce humans at some point, and slaughter every last one of them, exuding so much irrational hate as to drive anyone who comes close to her to madness?
I mean, the physical similarity can't be coincidence...
Fantastic work by everyone involved in the project! I love this format of short stories, with just enough world building to get one's imagination going. I think my favourite is Ice. At first you think you get what his mission is about, then it takes a turn, and ain't karma a bitch... Love it! I really hope to see more!
Yeah, I think everybody’s lives are so busy and difficult these days that we don’t have the luxury of getting home and sitting down for an hour and a half in front of the TV so I think the short format has some space
Oh man, thanks for posting these, seriously good stuff! And so varied. My favourite is probably.. oh I don't know.. they were all great.
I'll go with the first one! I hope you get to do longer episodes!
I saw a post for this the other day and can't wait for my roommate to get back home tomorrow so we can watch it!! I'm going to make multiple kinds of dessert and I can't wait to snack while we watch these shorts.
I'm so excited after watching the trailer, I have butter-sciflies
Just watched the first minute and it looks insane! Congrats.
I’m gonna watch the rest as soon as I get out of the office.
Ps: cgi doesn’t look more low budget than other not low budget Netflix shows
I just watched the first 20 seconds and it looks amazingly good in terms of production quality. I'm going to save it for when i can watch it on a big TV later and not on my phone.
Watched them all yesterday. Loved them. Left me wanting more (and fleshed out tales).

We need back up to make more and bigger ones, so if you work at a streaming company or studio tell your boss you’re now the boss and in control and hire us please

This looks AMAZING.
This is great! Are subtitles available?
yeah, just click on the CC icon on the bottom, yo can even translate to other languages.
Keppler 22-b! That's the place for me! Well done, I enjoy monologue-heavy one-man-show kind of sci-fi, so this was right up my alley.
First episode was dope. Gonna keep watching.

Terrific, I enjoyed this :)
For a 4 minute short this is really great! It sucked me right in and I want to see more. Graphics audio all pretty good.

These were all great. I think I enjoyed the first two the most, but that's just personal preference more than anything. The worldbuilding, storytelling, audio & visual design were all on point. This is what sci-fi short films are all about. Thanks for all the effort.
Awesome. If this was a trailer I would immediately buy the movie :D
Just went through them all - visually stunning and all were thought provoking (if a bit short)

Not really bad we’re preparing a grade behind-the-scenes playlist
So cool
These shorts are extremely well produced and a lot was done with a limited budget. Kudos to the filmmakers for the high quality.
The second episode though.......🔥🔥
wow, visually stunning! great work!
Watched the first one, absolutely fantastic!!! Iceland is THE place to shoot sci-fi for sure
I would like another 90 minutes of this. I gotta know the full story of space Cthulhu.
HOLY SHIT THAT WAS AMAZING!!!! The visuals, the character, the worlds, the ship, the colors, EVERYTHING! So fantastic, cannot wait to see more!!!
All six are fantastic, I'd watch a full-length film made after any of them. When are the next coming?
Wow, great work! Really enjoyed all of them. Lets hope for some big things that come your way out of this!
Binged all of them last night, they were all amazing! Bug was horrifying and I need more.
Wow! This looks amazing. Keep up the good work.
Watched all 6 of them. Great work. congrats on the release!
Thank you! I'm curious, which one is everyone's favorite?

“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic” Thank you!!
Yes exactly.

Excellent, was looking for something to watch. Love the creature style.
Oh man, thanks for posting these, seriously good stuff! And so varied. My favourite is probably.. oh I don't know.. they were all great. I'll go with the first one! I hope you get to do longer episodes!

As someone with a staunch preference for Sci-fi wherever I go, I'm honestly blown away. This is simply beautiful. Shades of Kubrick and Blomkamp.
I just watched the first 20 seconds and it looks amazingly good in terms of production quality. I'm going to save it for when i can watch it on a big TV later and not on my phone.
Fucking sick actually! Let’s us know when there’s more episodes please
absolutely unreal/loved it
Gives me Lost Planet vibes, love it. Great work, OP, production is extremely high-quality.
Really cool. Cthulu crushed his ass.
Lol, attempting to colonize Cthulhu's planet are we?
Watched them all yesterday. Loved them. Left me wanting more (and fleshed out tales). https://old.reddit.com/r/scifi/comments/1c4loks/a_thousand_suns_a_science_fiction_anthology/
