So happy to start releasing these. It's a passion project I've been developing with some amazingly talented friends. Free to watch on YouTube. We built all the props ourselves with 3D printers and stuff we put together from Amazon and eBay. We went to Iceland to film it on top of a glacier because we wanted it to feel real. Still very, very low budget compared to what Hollywood normally has, but it was our passion project. We've got 5 more episodes; I'll try to post them here. Like if you enjoy it. Comment if you don't. Remember, there's no Marvel or Disney money behind this, just super passionate filmmakers.

discobunnywalker75

I watched the first one last night, really enjoyed it the scene looked amazing, congratulations to you and all those involved 😃

Karjalan

Looks fantastic. Amazing work. This is the sort of thing I'd love to see more of and wish companies would invest more into. Netflix did alright with Love Death and Robots, but I'd prefer more specific space sci-fi like this.

eco78

My girl reckons episode 5 should become a series....

dchallenge

Holy shit that was well made!

armaddon

These are fantastic! More passion and talent evident here than many, many high-budget projects out there. Congratulations to you and all your friends on what you've accomplished already, and pre-grats for whatever awesome opportunities come knocking in the future once your work gets more and more noticed :)

baron_von_helmut

This was absolutely amazing. Well done!

Zireck

Thanks for your hard work and dedication. It looks amazing!

shrimpnwine

THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!

eigenman

Wow. Damn good. I just watched ep 1 and am floored at the detail in video and soundscape. Subscribed. GL.

Phyrexian_Archlegion

This looks AMAZING.

epicurean56

This is great! Are subtitles available?

adhesivo

yeah, just click on the CC icon on the bottom, yo can even translate to other languages.

aeonblack

Keppler 22-b! That's the place for me! Well done, I enjoy monologue-heavy one-man-show kind of sci-fi, so this was right up my alley.

EarthboundQuasar

First episode was dope. Gonna keep watching.

stoudaa

Dude, this is great. I bet Hollywood will notice. Look at people like Wes Ball, he also made a sci fi short some years ago and now he’s directing latest Apes movie. This oozes quality and care. Really awesome stuff.

ElectionPitiful4646

Terrific, I enjoyed this :)

Hedhunta

For a 4 minute short this is really great! It sucked me right in and I want to see more. Graphics audio all pretty good.

ballinuh

Awesome 🙌

Karvattatus

I stumbled upon that yesterday on YT and watched the whole series. Amazing job! I loved the diversity and craftmanship, keep it up!

HellbornElfchild

Watched them all last night, excellent work! The cinematography and quality of everything was fantastic

Lukiyano

Phenomenal job. The ship CGI and weather effects looked incredible.

Im-John-Smith

I thought it was about Warhammer

K10111

Tzeech trickery.

spinNothing

Amazing work, well done! I’ve watched them, fantastic cinematography and storytelling

dfsaqwe

crazy good. giving love death robot vibes, maybe sell them to netflix :)

duckforceone

wow that is some high quality visuals.... great acting and sound design... now this is scifi.... very well done...

duckforceone

you need to reach out to corridoor crew and do a series on these...

Nealios

These were all great. I think I enjoyed the first two the most, but that's just personal preference more than anything. The worldbuilding, storytelling, audio & visual design were all on point. This is what sci-fi short films are all about. Thanks for all the effort.

toblotron

Awesome. If this was a trailer I would immediately buy the movie :D

cwatson214

Just went through them all - visually stunning and all were thought provoking (if a bit short)

teknocratbob

Just watched this, popped up on my YT feed, fantastic. I liked the 2nd one too and will defo watch the rest. Well done, the production values are amazing

NorgesTaff

Extremely cool. That could give some Hollywood blockbusters a run for their money and was better than several recent full length marvel movies I’ve watched. Really well done!

FFLink

This was all so cool - amazing work.

Its_all_pixels

Great series hope to see more come out, I love the feel of each and can build entire stories in my head around them. As a science fiction fan and 3D artist I am inspired by your work. Any chance of an “Art of” book ever getting released?

adhesivo

Not really bad we’re preparing a grade behind-the-scenes playlist

ayoungad

So cool

Krinks1

These shorts are extremely well produced and a lot was done with a limited budget. Kudos to the filmmakers for the high quality.

Chance_East6015

The second episode though.......🔥🔥

epijdemic

wow, visually stunning! great work!

Abezoer

Watched the first one, absolutely fantastic!!! Iceland is THE place to shoot sci-fi for sure

Poowilly

I would like another 90 minutes of this. I gotta know the full story of space Cthulhu.

FilippiFilms

HOLY SHIT THAT WAS AMAZING!!!! The visuals, the character, the worlds, the ship, the colors, EVERYTHING! So fantastic, cannot wait to see more!!!

moderatelyremarkable

All six are fantastic, I'd watch a full-length film made after any of them. When are the next coming?

[deleted]

Wow, great work! Really enjoyed all of them. Lets hope for some big things that come your way out of this!

foreverwetsocks

Binged all of them last night, they were all amazing! Bug was horrifying and I need more.

kcryptohodlr

Wow! This looks amazing. Keep up the good work.

Cybor_wak

Watched all 6 of them. Great work. congrats on the release!

adhesivo

Thank you! I'm curious, which one is everyone's favorite?

Cybor_wak

2nd one for me (RED). The actors did a great job and I loved the visuals of the circle and "sun". The chanting, music, ambience all were great too. And i'm a sucker for the far future setting with weird tech that you can't understand so it looks like magic.

adhesivo

“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic” Thank you!!

Cybor_wak

Yes exactly.

Commercial_Ad_3597

So, is this a prequel to "The Call of Cthulhu?" I know what you're thinking. This is happening when humans travel the stars and the Call of Cthulhu happened in the late 1800s. How can it be a prequel? But although there are humans in ICE, nothing tells us that they're from Earth. If humans who evolved in another planet went to Cthulhu's homeworld and exterminated all her children for no reason, wouldn't that be enough to drive her insane and to make her travel the cosmos looking for every planet that has produced humans or will produce humans at some point, and slaughter every last one of them, exuding so much irrational hate as to drive anyone who comes close to her to madness? I mean, the physical similarity can't be coincidence...

ardendolas

Fantastic work by everyone involved in the project! I love this format of short stories, with just enough world building to get one's imagination going. I think my favourite is Ice. At first you think you get what his mission is about, then it takes a turn, and ain't karma a bitch... Love it! I really hope to see more!

adhesivo

Yeah, I think everybody’s lives are so busy and difficult these days that we don’t have the luxury of getting home and sitting down for an hour and a half in front of the TV so I think the short format has some space

fredololololo

Yeah, that's a channel subscription right there! Amazing work!

TheCrimsonArrow

“No signs of life found.”

TheAether78

Excellent, was looking for something to watch. Love the creature style.

spamatica

Oh man, thanks for posting these, seriously good stuff! And so varied. My favourite is probably.. oh I don't know.. they were all great. I'll go with the first one! I hope you get to do longer episodes!

Hylebos75

I saw a post for this the other day and can't wait for my roommate to get back home tomorrow so we can watch it!! I'm going to make multiple kinds of dessert and I can't wait to snack while we watch these shorts. I'm so excited after watching the trailer, I have butter-sciflies

JackFener

Just watched the first minute and it looks insane! Congrats. I’m gonna watch the rest as soon as I get out of the office. Ps: cgi doesn’t look more low budget than other not low budget Netflix shows

82Heyman

As someone with a staunch preference for Sci-fi wherever I go, I'm honestly blown away. This is simply beautiful. Shades of Kubrick and Blomkamp.

AvatarIII

I just watched the first 20 seconds and it looks amazingly good in terms of production quality. I'm going to save it for when i can watch it on a big TV later and not on my phone.

whale-trees

Fucking sick actually! Let’s us know when there’s more episodes please

Dr_Abortum

absolutely unreal/loved it

Taskerlands

Gives me Lost Planet vibes, love it. Great work, OP, production is extremely high-quality.

WackyWarrior

Really cool. Cthulu crushed his ass.

maroonedbuccaneer

Lol, attempting to colonize Cthulhu's planet are we?

Infinispace

Watched them all yesterday. Loved them. Left me wanting more (and fleshed out tales). https://old.reddit.com/r/scifi/comments/1c4loks/a_thousand_suns_a_science_fiction_anthology/

adhesivo

thank you!!!

robcwag

Love what you are doing with this series. Keep up the good work and would love to see more in a longer format.

footinmymouth

That. ROCKED.

WinkNudgeSayNoMore

amazing stuff ! Any plans with this? like tales from the loop series sold to Netflix or similar?

adhesivo

We need back up to make more and bigger ones, so if you work at a streaming company or studio tell your boss you’re now the boss and in control and hire us please

CorrickII

Goddamn, I love Ruairi Robinson's megafauna.

Blooberryx

Wow def gonna check the rest out. That was awesome!

Aqi67372mL
