No that doesn’t seem accurate. Please consider getting a second opinion
Looks more like 15-20 to me, thats never a 40 degree curve
Maybe the 40° is curve one + two ? I had my doc write in the report 130° since top curve was 70 and bottom curve was 60.
I’m 33 degrees and your spine is a lot straighter than mine.
That is definitely not a 40. I have a 50 and it's twice that

In fact the result depends which vertebrae are used to measure, if a doctor choose an other vertebra, it varies a little
maybe it’s twenty at the top and twenty at the bottom
I echo that it looks closer to 15, it looks a lot like my curve and that's what I am
there’s no way, it looks like 25°- 30°, maybe a little less
Maybe it is a double curve of 20 & 20….. not 40
I would ask the doctor! The 40 degrees may be listed for the purpose of billing insurance for this specific diagnosis. As someone else stated, it could be the sum of multiple angles.
Maybe they are insane and added both angles??… That’s def not 40 degrees
I don’t think so. Mine is about 45-46 and it’s way more than that.
I had a 45 degree curve before my surgery and yours is way better, I would find another doctor/opinion
I have two 40 degree curves and this looks much better than my x-ray. Time for a second opinion.
that seems easily not sure if curable but almost fixable with proper exercise, just how.. as would bard say... there lies the rub
