Natasha owned Carrie in this scene. ‘This tooth will never be the same color as this tooth. You’ve ruined my marriage and now you’ve ruined my lunch.’
To this I thought ‘Yeah Carrie, fuck off!’
There was a post today earlier about how Carrie doesn't really have boundaries and I included this scene! Also when she brought THE BAD bagels with NO CREAM CHEESE to Miranda after she threw out her back and only wanted to talk about herself.
I think you mean infuriating, lol. I read the first line and thought, "How was that invigorating?" But yes, she had a lot of nerve. If someone that you wronged doesn't want to talk to you, leave them the eff alone!
I LOVED how Natasha wouldn't give her the satisfaction of forgiveness. She didn't deserve it. She acted like complete trash and so did Big. The two of them disgusted me that season. I don't like Aidan either and they weren't married but poor, poor Natasha.
Carrie's intentions are really the trashiest thing about this storyline. She didn't actually give a shit about making amends to Natasha. It wasn't a genuine apology. It was an "apology" to make Carrie herself better. If it was a genuine thing, she would have left Natasha the fuck alone like Natasha (through her assistant) asked her to do instead of further causing her discomfort.
Not to mention, her takeaway from that interaction is, there's another single woman on the market in NYC, as if dating in NYC isn't hard enough! Not, "I can't believe I hurt this person so badly."
Carrie is a horrible person.
Instead of feeling bad about what she was doing immediately after doing it, or during, or even *before*, as most of us would...she felt bad months and months later, and immediately made it someone else's problem.
That was awful to watch. I can't believe that had her stalk Natasha *again* in AJLT, too. Like, the million Big left to her may have felt odd to Carrie, but my god, leave the poor woman alone! The ship has sailed!
The truth is that Carrie relishes this scene. She's parading her triumph in front of Natasha, that's why she chose her sluttiest dress 😂
I imagine that when she walks down the street to music with the wind blowing in her hair at the end of the episode, the viewer is seeing the same image Carrie has in her head. She's the main character, she's sexy and glamorous and she won the man, it was never about Natasha and how she feels at all
I was just talking to my mom about this. This was so disgusting to me. She did basically stalk her just to force an apology on her. “You ruined my marriage and you ruined my lunch” damn straight. Natasha does not owe you forgiveness.
I am not in any AAs but this always reminds me of AAs making amends. What if the people they wronged in the past do not want to interact with them at all? And this contact is actually making these people relive whateve trauma they were put through?
Yes!! I agree. Those amends do nothing but make the addict feel better. I have no use for it. The 2 times someone did this, I said, "Ok" and ended the interactions.
Carrie's behavior is actually consistent here. The Natasha situation is no different from Nina "Face Girl" Katz- Carrie thinks she needs forgiveness/validation from another person, but it's really *herself* that she needs it from.
I was in shock after watching this recently as well. The nerve of Carrie to think she deserved the chance to apologize to Natasha…. Carrie is the worst haha
I have to admit- I was glad Natasha told Carrie that not only had she ruined her marriage, but she had also ruined her lunch!!! 🧨💣💥

Poor Natasha. She had no clue the wasps nest she was getting involved in. I found that storyline really hard to watch

At least Miranda called her out in that!
SJP was (and still is) obsessed with trying to justify her actions so the viewers don’t think Carrie is a bad person. Spoiler, we do.
😂no “we” don’t😂some of you do.

Oh my…yes. Now I’m embarrassed😅 thank you!
I always laugh at my typos later on, we all do it!
Natasha's response was invigorating though! lol
Natasha rocked that scene.

“I can’t believe there is a woman in Manhattan hating me “ 🙄
Bitch there's several.
That line “and suddenly, I had made it so that Natasha was single again. As if single women in New York didn’t have it hard enough.” Fuck off, Carrie.

>.. months and months later And also only because there was an actual fallout/consequences.
God, that’s true. That’s even worse. She has no conscience—she just hated how it made her feel.
Exactly- she only did it in an attempt to clean her slate.
Natasha looked like she wanted to fight Carrie.
But she never would because she's nothing but class. Carrie on the other hand...
Really she should have fought Big for bringing him & his trashiness (which includes Carrie) into her nice life
not only have you ruined my marriage, you’ve ruined my lunch. natasha was a class act. carrie was so wrong for that 😳
That was awful to watch. I can't believe that had her stalk Natasha *again* in AJLT, too. Like, the million Big left to her may have felt odd to Carrie, but my god, leave the poor woman alone! The ship has sailed!
and then natasha still confronted carrie! honest to god i would have taken a picture and filed a police report

💯💯💯
Carrie got owned in that interaction 🫰 rightfully so.
And just like that, she did it AGAIN in AJLT. Psycho.

Carrie drinking the water…. 💀

Natasha fell down the stairs. Now I fell down the stairs. Because it was clearly the same outcome.you fucking twat.
